QT to FLV conversion

A neophtye here.  But at least this beginner knows where to go for help!   I am new to Dreamweaver.  Came from the crowd of GoLive.   Has it figured out, and I'm about to launch my first site online.  But... to be able to convert my WMV to FLV and QT movies myself.  I bought CS4 Design Premium.  It contains Flash PRO.   Assumed that would allow me to convert QT and WMV to FLV.  But... no luck.   Did I buy the wrong suite?  And, if yes, does anyone know a way I can convert these files.  I tried software Marie-Paule but it seemed very inconsistent to me!   I use a new MacBookPro 'charge' of the task.   I just get these converted files.  Help... any who.  And thanks in advance.

Flash CS4 that will do for you.

1. open Flash CS4, select new file AS2 or AS3, your choice.

2. open the file... Import... and select the first file .mov or .wmv.

3 flash will open the import video window.

4. select Embed FLV in SWF and play in timeline

5. click on the button launch Adobe Media Encoder

6. follow the instructions and select the options you want

Repeat if necessary

Or, the Media Encoder, which will do for you.

1. launch the Adobe Media Encoder CS4.app

2. drag .mov and .wmv files in the window

3. set the options you need

  • Edition of FLV files?

I need to be able to edit FLV files. I don't need much - cut in two cases and resize them to a smaller size - so my needs are not terribly sophisticated. I have Premiere Pro, but have you noticed that it cannot open FLV files. (I found a plug-in that would have been able to circumvent this restriction, but it seems to be Windows only and I'm on a Mac).

Anyone know of a good solution for a simple editing FLV?

    Thank you.

I found a tool called EasyWMV for Mac which seems to be the MOV FLV conversion well enough, so that the has solved my problem. Thank you.

  • Publish Flash can't find the video on the server

Previously, using Flash CS3 Professional, would incorporate a. M4V file (shared via iMovie) and go through the Import Wizard to give him a reading skin and ultimately publish something HTML, SWF, FLV and SWF/JS files for playback. Download these five files on our servers (or any server) allow anyone to watch these videos by accessing the HTML page.

Now, using Flash CS4, the import process is a little different and FLV conversion does not occur. There are also no to publish. JS file and instead of the. FLV file, there is the original movie file (.) M4V). In the library pane, there is an article of FLVPlayback. When you access the HTML file as it sits on my desk (or the Office somebody in the folder with all the other items), the SWF file is and play the movie without any problem. Comes right up. However, now that all the files are moved (again, in the same folder) on a server for access via the web, the SWF file cannot find the video file.

I even created a duplicate of the project with the encoding of the file M4V in a FLV and import this file into the document FLA; that the publication and download to the same exact results.

That step has been added/deleted that I'm missing to make these files simply, import to convert properly and publish noctilucence so that they can be viewed that they were once on the web?

    Thank you!

  • Import of mp4 in Flash 8, conversion to FLV

I just took a class of Flash Video where I realized I could import a MP4 and convert it to an FLV using coding tools that come with Flash Professional 8. However, I opened a new FLA earlier and tried to import a MP4 (file-> import video), Flash does not recognize the MP4 sample I have on my desk.

I downloaded a copy of On2 FlixPro demonstration and he did recognize the MP4, is the conversion of a FLV as I write this.

A I might misunderstand the MP4s import in Flash 8 Professional? Is it indeed not possible. Or maybe there was something I did not or did not properly before you import it? If so, what would he have?

    Thanks in advance.

Thank you, 'All Files' did. I didn't realize ' activate: "allowed to choose from a list of types of files or all files. I does not check, thought that "All the Formats of video" was the only choice.

    Thanks again.

  • The conversion to FLV in creative cloud?

I just upgraded to CS3 to CC, and one that most frequently used tools in CS3 is the (separate from the flash) Flash encoder to convert avi in .flv format files.  The creative cloud does not seem to come with this option, if there is another tool that I can use to convert my video into FLV.

install a precedent (for example, flash cs6) version of an adobe program that installs adobe media encoder.

  • Conversion of Captivate files to .flv format

Hi, we have created a project using Adobe Captivate 6.  We have published in .exe format and who shared with our client.

Our client wants now that provide a .flv so file. We could not find any way to do this.

    Help, please. Urgent

I hope you are aware that the FLV is a video format, which means that all interactivity that you might be in the EXE file will be lost.

Publish in the media, MP4. I think that Captivate comes with Adobe Media Encoder (at least a minimal version, because the video inserted in CP are always converted) which allows you to convert MP4 FLV or F4V (better if your client agrees).

  • Conversion .swf to .flv (sorry if this question is getting boring)

    Hi all

I created a slide show in flash 8 for my site, although the file must be a .flv. I read a lot of similar posts, tried a few of the converters and the .swf decompilers trial versions, and it seems that you have to either buy a converter or buy quicktime pro to achieve. If it's the only solution, then I guess I will have to buy one, but seems like a lot of money for such a small task. I wonder if there is no alternative, or if perhaps some fellow kind there would be ready to convert it for me? The .swf file is attached, if any passing Samaritan feels charitable. Would be very appreciated!

    Thanks for any help.

I converted to the mov format, then to flv format, but he ended up at least twice as big with less quality and it is not loop I don't know I could get a loop but the best solution that I see it must run the fla that created the slide show alongside the fla that created the rest of the site and create a new MovieClip in the main fla and just copy the contents of the slideshow fla in the MovieClip or simply put the swf file in the other.

  • Problem with conversion

OK, I read like 20 posts that appear to be similar, and after following the instructions I'll always have the same problem.  I downloaded a .flv.  Converted to .wmv using separate software.  Now I plug my e280v2 and start SMC.  I import the file and click on convert.  The conversion bar reaches 100%, but the other bar stops at 49%.  It does seem to matter how long I leave it there, it will not be completed.  I am extremely frustrated at this point.  Any help will be most appreciated.

    Thank you

    Tim

Try to convert it to .avi and .wmv not using your other software. As .avi v2, where v1 to prefer it .wmv.

I want to convert my video files in FLV format as im eager to export the video in flash, this seems to be the only format that it will accept. Media Encoder is more to this format, how can I get around this?

I could be wrong, but in my research for this issue, I learned that there is no solution from Adobe to convert an F4V or a FLV. I talked to Adobe support directly and they told me to buy a 3rd party conversion program. I find absolutely stupid that the only way to embed a video in Animate using a FLV or F4V, and there is no codec to convert video in this format.

They play with the black bands when played outside Captivate? My guess is that they will do so.

Chances are that you will need to find a different way to convert. Maybe even play on your computer and use the Captivate demo to capture them as they play.
