Quality of SBH - 80 such conversation?

Hello

My new SBH-80 have bad quality in telephone speech. As it would be in a thin metal box.

The strange thing is that the other audio such as music, book of speeches and works well on very well.

Here by I suspech it comes to SW (pilot).

How do I uppdate SW or are there any other recommendations you can give me?

BR

I have experienced this problem, disappears usually if I turn bluetooth on my phone.

If this does not work, turn off the device pairing > restart your phone > pair your helmet again.

  • Are there quality for pdf conversion pack options?

I need a very high quality of a .docx document conversion.  Acrobat has quality options, but I do not see how to configure when you use pdf pack.

    Hi James,

I'm afraid to say but there is none of these options in Acrobat.com (pdf pack) online service, Acrobat.com online service uses techniques of conversion that optimizes the file for its size and quality.

I recommend you use the Acrobat software (download Acrobat products|) Standard, Pro | XI, X) to take control over the conversion settings.

  • A question about the image quality?

I create my menus by using an image that is offered by selected relative when positioning.

That's by the by... However my menu option is set on the screen as 30 pixels wide.

If I create the actual image as 30 pixels wide so that the text is very unbalanced and is horrible.

So if my menu shows 400px by 30px w h and image real must be 800px w h how do I create a good quality image without having such quality terrible 30px?

I create higher resolution and then somehow reduce the width of the bottom?

    Thank you

    Terry

Do you use a high-resolution Retina Display?

Image quality is determined by the total number of pixels in your image - h X w, 325 x 200 500 x 400 vs and the 72 vs 96 ppi vs 300.  So if your screen has a pixel density of high, normal web images may appear grainy on your device but is generally not a problem for the screens with a normal pixel density.

Consider using the Bootstrap Glyphicons or Fonts-Awesome icons and SVG.

Open your PSD into illustrator and SaveAs SVG (scalable vector) that is much sharper than bitmaps.

  • On the "Image Enhancement Utility" software for the Qosmio series

    Hey all,.
As you may know, the utility of photo development is responsible to define the image quality in 3 software: Windows Media Center, WinDVD & WinDVR.

It gives more bright colors, a picture more clear and other improvements in the display mode full screen.

I was wondering if it is possible to have the image Enhancement Utility affect the image quality of other software such as Windows Media Player, Zoom Player, Media Player Classic or other players.

When I got my Qosmio, I didn't expect the Qosmio announced engine (which is controlled by the image Enhancement Utility) to be only compatible with the 3 predefined software!

I think it would be great if Toshiba could specify the software for which we want strengthening of motor Qosmio image, as an option in the "Picture Enhancement Utility.

I really hope that Toshiba will hear the appeal in the wild. ;)
    Next time!

    Hello

As far as I know this utility allows you to change the image quality depending on your viewing environment and also allows you to select external input parameters for video camera, games consoles etc. That s right it works with Media Center, InterVideo WinDVD and InterVideo WinDVR because these programs are pre-installed on the device. In my opinion, the development of photo utility is a very nice utility and as far as I know inimitable.
You cannot expect that this utility must works with all kinds of programs, but maybe the next version has a few extensions ;)

  • Portege R500 - replacement of the keyboard - success

After buying a new keyboard for the R500 on EBay about a year ago, I finally blew the courage to replace a badly scratched by a new keyboard. The reason I've waited? I was worried about how to get out the old keyboard (it is locked down to the chassis, and it was obvious that I have would hurt one during the withdrawal.

There is a nice write-up general on how to disassemble a R500 here:
    http://www.irisvista.com/tech/laptops/Toshiba-Portege-R500/disassemble-laptop-remove-hard-drive.htm

The description above is not to discuss the keyboard however, so here's some additional information and tips:

    * Read this whole procedure before you start - it's simple, but not for the faint of heart.

    * Shut down, unplug the power, remove the battery.

    * Make sure that you have the correct keyboard for your model. The US keyboard is p/n G83C000903US for example. One I removed was a Rev 1 and a new one, I had a Rev 2 (don't know the difference - they look identical). They can get as low as $40-mais check the part number before you buy.

    * The keyboard connector is located under the computer, and so you will have to take off from the bottom, carefully following the instructions in the link above.

A couple of notes: (a) the cable Ribbon PCMCIA connector must be opened to disconnect the cable, as this is the only thing that prevents you from removing the bottom of the computer. You can easily do so through access memory on the back door, but BE careful not to damage the cable lock. It works by switch to the top the little plastic lever that is held in place by small pieces of plastic on the sides of the connector that flex * a little *. Be gentle with this connector. When you put it back later-connector, if you placed the cable all the way into the connector, you can lock with only slight pressure down on the connector, and it will snap into place.

    (b) there are other types of cable Ribbon connectors use too. For example, to unlock the keyboard connector, now visible also on the bottom of the deck, slide both ends of the connector in the direction where the cable plugs in. They are snug and will only move about 1/4 ", be gentle but firm.

    (c) the two tiny connectors blocks free access to the water of the keyboard do not have locks on them. We're a band with only a few drivers, and one is a red and white power connector. Just pull out them. All the other connectors, you will probably miss through requires unlocking, so be careful!

_Now back to the keyboard: _

Once you have managed to disconnect his cable on the bottom, turn the laptop and start to remove the keyboard on the edges. It is supported by many small pieces of sticky tape, 2 faces, and that's it. As the base of the keyboard is made of aluminum, it is likely that you will distort the keyboard a bit as release you it, even though it may be downplayed maybe using a tool like a rule or something plastic and pry with it. Take care of not to damage the connector of the Ribbon and try to ignore these scary cracking sounds that identify each section!

Once you have turned it off, you must remove any excess tape before starting point and again put a bunch of small pieces of new, good quality 2-sided tape (such as 3 m). No need to use anything stronger or thicker - just put a bunch of parts everywhere on the base, especially near the edges and the space key.

Now, finally, turn the keyboard in position, making sure that you screw the connector back Ribbon through to the correct place. Turn the laptop over and re - insert and lock the Ribbon connector (make sure that it is directly and fully forward lock connector). All other connectors back in too. Then come back and push down hard on all sections.

Re-assembling, taking care to put the 4 mm and 6 mm screws in the right places and a tiny on the side.

Cross your fingers and turn it on!

    Good luck!

    Thank mate for this review.
Generally the replacement of keyboard is not really complicated and someone with small technician skills should be able to replace it

  • Profile: Low complexity

Hi, I was looking for some files that I had in Itunes, in this particular case of some episodes of the TV show that I bought. I noticed that, in file details, there was some information that I couldn't really find good explanations for marked ' profile: low complexity.»

More if there is such a thing as complexity files in Itunes in anyway improve it the sound or Visual music and video files purchased on itunes?

    Rosenkreuz,

Low complexity refers to the normal way of AAC audio encoding.  (I didn't pay attention to video, but there may be something similar for video encoding).  If you want some info techniques introduction, see the article of Wikipedia on the AAC.

My question is mainly the files purchased from Itunes are always low complexity and if there is one area where you have to manually enable the option of some kind of great complexity. More if there is such a thing as complexity files in Itunes in anyway improve it the sound or Visual music and video files purchased on itunes?

As you may have noticed when you make a purchase, you get what you get, which is the standard AAC/256, and there is no option for a better or worse quality audio.

If you have concerns about the audio quality of files from the iTunes Store, you can shop among many online music stores that sell quality downloads (hi-def), such as securities HDaudiophile.  (Advisory: expect less choice and higher prices.)

On the other hand, if everything sounded fine until you've noticed the thing 'Low complexity', just ignore it and enjoy the music!

  • ImgBayerColorDecode of NOR-IMAQ to produce 64-bit RGB images?

According to reference Help feature, imgBayerColorDecode can be called with a void * pointer source and destination, so in principle it should be able to handle Bayer encoded images to 16 bits per pixel, right?

However, when I look at this old net, it seems that it is not possible, because only 32-bit RGB can be taken out. When I look at the "Bayer Color Decode.vi IMAQ" on our system, the dll call is one of:

    "int32_t imgBayerColorDecode (int32_t dst, int32_t CBC, lines uint32_t, CLO uint32_t, int32_t dstRowPixels, int32_t srcRowPixels, const uint32_t * redGain, const uint32_t * greenGain, const uint32_t * blueGain, uint8_t bayerPattern, int32_t bitDepth, uint32_t reserved);

But settings can be changed apparently. So my guess is that imgBayerColorDecode can now convert 16 bit Bayer coded images in RGB (A) 48-bit or 64-bit images (+ alpha), but I can't find any mention of this in the page "What's new with NOR-IMAQ".

Can someone from OR Please confirm that it is possible today or is the old NET still valid?

    Hi Oliver,.

During the period of SP1 2012, new Bayer decoding support added to the Vision. Bayer functions exported from the DLL IMAQ are discouraged because they don't have any of the new features. The functions are now in the Vision, but I think they do not need a license of the Vision Development Module (they are part of the basic API).

The new functions of Bayer are significantly faster, have many algorithms of quality varying and support the conversion of > 8 bit to RGB64.

imaqBayerToRGB() is what you should look into nivision.h.

  • . Treated AVI as Audio in Movie Maker and corrupt in Windows DVD Maker.

I have a lot of. AVI files I want to burn to a DVD.  I do not have another series of. Notice to try with these programs to see if it's just them.

Windows Movie Maker treats as Audio files, I tried to disable compatibility filters.  I tried this on two computers to Vista.

    Creating Windows DVD said me:

    0 files were added successfully.

File (s) X could not be added.

    The files

    [Name of file]

is not valid or is corrupted.

I tried this on two computers to Vista.

I tried to convert the files with "Any Video Converter", but there is a substantial loss of the quality of .wmv and mpeg conversion.

I tried "of Aimersoft DVD Creator' trial, but video lags behind audio when I play the video in this program.  The videos show very well "Media Player Classic Home Cinema".

How can I fix these files. AVI or convince Movie Maker and DVD Maker to care for them properly?

    Thank you j of volunteering.

I used Freemake for one of the .avi files convert an .avi file. This increased the size of the file by more than 300% no change in quality.  Windows Live Movie Maker considers the new .avi properly, but not creating Windows DVD or Windows Movie Maker, they still refuse to import or use it as audio, respectively.

I have converted the new .avi to .wmv with Freemake file and it seems that the quality is actually improved from the original. Windows DVD Maker will accept this new .wmv.

I'll convert others, burn and return with the results for the benefit of anyone else who has this problem.

Convert .avi .avi files then .wmv and burn with Windows DVD Maker have exceptional results.  As seen on TV quality is slightly better than the quality of the original .avi files on the computer.  Don't know what attribute this too, but I'm pretty happy.
Sorry for the late reply, but it took time to convert, convert, burn and test.

Thank you very much for the help.

  • Import of WMF to FrameMaker 9 files

    Hello

I import WMF graphic files into FrameMaker 9 document. Usually when importing graphics, I use the DPI adjustment option to resize it to my needs. In graphics WMF the DPI option is not available. And any graph is imported to a certain size by default. What is the best way to control the import of WMF files?  Why must he to behave differently as .png, .jpg, etc.. ?

(FrameMaker 9 on Windows XP pro.)

    Thank you very much

    Donna

    Donna,.

a WMF file is a vector graphics file (as HAVE or EPS, lower quality), not a bitmap such as PNG, BMP or JPG file. A vector file is not have a resolution as a bitmap, which is what makes "vector". Without 3rd party tools/plug-ins, you control the size after importation, by the scaling in the object properties dialog box. If you want it will automatically during the import, you will need either the plug-in or FrameScript more corresponding scripts.

  • Type1 in OT

    Hello

Does anyone know a quick tool to convert Type1 fonts to open Type? How is the appearance of leagel? Are you allowed to do?

    M; IC

Yes, there are tools that can accomplish what Fontographer and FontLab.

In regard technical concerns, you must make sure that you convert Type 1 in the vesion TrueType, OpenType, but rather OpenType CFF, which should preserve any hint.

With regard to legal issues, you need to read the EULA (end-user license agreement) that accompanies a particular font. Some fonts foundries allow these conversions (assuming that you so don't try to sell or give the police resulting) and some absolutely prohibit such conversions.

Practically speaking, I don't think it's worth. Given the cost of conversion tools and worth your time to make and test the conversion, you might as well spend the extra money and get the official update of a Type 1 font OpenType version. These OpenType fonts many features of special provision with additional glyphs that you would absolutely not get with a police time amateur 'conversion '.

  • Computer only has no HDMI port, can I add a?

OK, here's what I have a desktop computer, and is not an HDMI port. I have a video camera that I need video streams in Adobe Visual Communicator and open diffuser. I use HDMI due to video quality. Is there such a thing as a PCI or PCIe card that has a HDMI port to where I can use my desktop for this feature? Thank you

HDMI on a video card is out only and is not used to send video to the computer. The camera must have a connector of the usb cable to transfer the video to the hard drive. HDMI on a video card is only to connect a monitor. You would need to capture the camera drivers and software.

  • Poor quality of the sound on the rocket with some conversions of mp3 128 k

I've converted a few songs to m4a (you have an iTunes gift card, do not want to lose it) using MediaMonkey to load on my rocket 128kbs mp3 files. They sound very good when I play on the computer, but the sound quality is poor, when I play them back on the "rocket". Anyone else run into this? A high sampling rate would solve it? I hope that by Christmas next to have all school please do it year Amazon gift card, but I intend to use the iTunes card for now.

I guess that there must be a compatibility problem with MediaMonkey 128 k on the "rocket", as I have tried a few others with better results. WMA 128 k was best that the mp3, but still sounded not just. Conversion of mp3 160 kbps of MediaMonkey sounds very good and still maintains the small enough size for me. I still don't know why some of these conversions the best on my PC and the "rocket", but I guess that doesn't really matter because I found something that works. Thanks for your help.
