  the source and target tables are the following. for the type 1 scd, I chose scd behavior as existing lines updated on behalf of the emp, sal columns.

  Start timestamp to join date and the current flag to flag column.

  first ename is smith when empno is 7369.

  I've updated ename

  Update scdtype1_source set ENAME = 'AA' where EMPNO = 7369

  After running, I don't have to change the flag o to 1 in the target table.

  SCD type1 mainly used for replaces old values., but I add flag column in the target table for easy identification. () column in which I updated)

  I have not any change in the flag.

  I'm not sure what you're trying to do will work. In the case of Type 1 SCD are you still using the dimension of change slow ikm oracle? The flag is updated to 0 in the case of CDs because of the code in step 2 "' Historize old rows where CPCs flag is set to '0'.» In your case, that no new record is added in the case of an update so the IKM does not change the flag.

  I'm not sure of your requirement either. You say you want to identify the column in which you have updated. How is an indicator will tell you what the column value has been changed? Maybe you want to know which line you have updated? If this is the case and lets say you set the flag to 1 in case of update what happens when another updated same record?

  I would suggest you add an updated time stamp column to your table and set of sysdate but in properties check only the update and will not insert. What that would do is update your record, it will fill the current date and time so that you can identify that this record has been updated.

  If you want to always go for the flag, then follow the same approach but in your mapping, change the value of the flag to 1 instead of 0 and new check only the update box (uncheck the box insert). In your create table statement the default value of this option to 0. So when the new line is inserted database is automatically assigned the flag to 0 and where there is an update, ODI it will change to 1.

• Missing Type1 fonts

  I use InDesign CS4 on Windows XP Pro. In the lists of fonts, I see all my fonts TrueType and OpenType, but none of my Type1 fonts. My InDesign fonts folder is empty. I tried to move temporarily several of my \Windows\Fonts Type1 fonts in the Fonts in InDesign folder and restart InDesign, but they did not yet appear. What I am doing wrong?

  I just debugged a strange question, and I wonder if the behavior I see is correct based on the specification.

  We have a PDF file that fails to print. It has a police SBB Type1C that once disassembled contains a character named "/ ArialMT '. This is obviously due to a bug somewhere, however various PDF utilities and viewers have no problem with the file, and this character renders correctly.

  When the file is converted to PostScript, it causes problems. This happens for some printers and also if convert us PDF-> PS and PS-> PDF with Ghostscript or XPDF.

  Printer error is "error Undefined: offending command: ArialMT ' and other programs said something similar.

  I checked the PostScript specification, and it says in part:

  When the PostScript language parser encounters a token of the form //name

  (a name preceded by two backslashes without intermediate space), it is immediately

  Hi Jos,

  You must have a KEY UPDATE to use the incremental update while the sequence column can serve a key UPDATE since its a number that is automatically generated.

  If initially you need to identify a column in your target table with unique values.

  Then go into your data store expand it and under constraints, you may not see the defined PK (FI), right click on it and say insert key. Go to the tab columns and move this SINGLE column in "Selected columns" box and move your sequence column in box "all columns".

  In this way you say ODI make incremental load based on the unique key defined in the target.

  OR

  If you can not change the PK column, then set the column unique key as the spare key (AK) and use it as a KEY to UPDATE at the interface level.

  in fact, I am facing difficulties on how to get an external function is called in CVI (Version 2009).

  I was delivered with a. H file and a. LIB file to call an external function of my project CVI. The. H file looks like this:

  So, I tried to link statically to the al extern like this function:

  I did some research autour and stood up with two possible problems. Maybe one of you can help me get a bit further and do work things out.

  (1) of the code of the 'real' function inside the DLL file that was not delivered to me. Or y at - it a way to get concrete results (calling external functions) with just one. H and a. LIB file (with none. Included DLL file)?

  (2) the external function does not export according to the rules of Style 'C '. The signature of the function in the. H file shows some things don't like

  Or maybe it's a combination of these two issues (missing. DLL + bad export style function)?

  I guess I could get around the incorrect service export style when I managed to write a wrapper around the original function that actually uses Style C exporters. But I guess I need to the. DLL file for this test as well.

  There is no need for the stuff of dllexport. There is also the option of a static library without any DLL.  But the "extern"C"' is essential, because it forces the C++ compiler, which was probably used to compile the library to use the C calling convention.

  If you are unable to ask the library vendor to provide a version that was compiled using C calling convention is the way to write a wrapper with VC ++ 6 around this library that functions using C calling convertion reexports. Something like

  Back to func1 (arg1,...);

  }

  for each function, you must use.

  BTW. "unresolved symbol" is the error message from the linker, you can expect if you try to bind the C code against a generation of library with the C++ calling convention.

• Latest patch day updates (Dec. 8, 2015) beat display for nxclient

  I use nomachines nxclient 3.4 for 5 years, but the last update broke the link to the display.
  I used system restore to go back to the previous state and the connection was there again.
  Then I tried the same process with the same results.
  So there is something in the last update that prevents nxclient to display a view.

  Connect to my remote computer works fine until the last step where nxclient says 'connection property screen '.

  nxclient starts and shows an entry in the taskbar, but the window does not appear.

  It took me almost a whole day of work to drill down to the patch only the origin of the problem.

  It's kb3109094 that breaks the display of the Xclient.

  Please Microsoft fix it.

  The whole process to find the cause of the problem is very time consuming and it grew to 2 questions for me:

  Q1. Why can't I just download the patches that my system also wants to without automatically installing them?

  (It takes around 20 minutes up to an hour for my system to manually check the status of patches and it is a redundant process, if I want to only install a subset of the fixes shown only once)

  After I manually downloaded the necessary KBxxx.msu patches one by one, I also had to install one by one.

  Q2. Why is there no GUI option to select a bunch of patches in a download directory and install them at once? (don't forget to set a restore point before installing)

  It would work fine for all other cases with the exception of the first two that are currently double.

  It won't work of course because it would give - "row subquery returns more rows" error because of these duplicate records.

  I'm trying to update the file type column to the first two rows with values 'Type1' and 'Type2 '.

  Out of these two files, it won't matter whose recording of newtable is updated with 'Type1' and you get 'Type2 '.

  Please help with ideas around update duplicate records with the ancienne_table-specific data into newtable.

• Performance issue with Sub query

  I have a requirement as there are two tables.

  Columns in the table T1

  -----------------------------------

  enter_time TIMESTAMP - partitioned column

  loc_num INDEX of index column-

  Table T2

  ---------------------------

  number of loc_num

  VARCHAR2 (20) type1

  VARCHAR2 (20) type2

  Table T1 is to have 30,00000 files

  Table T2 is to have 4 records

  There is no application between T1 and T2.

  Try to get one day date of the T2 based on the results of query sub.

  Query:

  SELECT * FROM T1

  WHEN trunc (enter_time) = July 22, 15 '

  and loc_num IN (select loc_num FROM T2 where = "XYZ" type1 and type2 = "PPP");

  I tried with the sup of CO-RELEATED query, but it takes more than 30 minutes.

  Do you have any idea to rewrite the query to make it faster in this scénarion.

  Assuming that enter_time is indexed, you can remove this trunc function.
