Question about streaming video with FMS3 live

Thanks much for you efforts...
I tested an exciting tutorial about streaming video with Flash Media Server 3.5 live...
every thing went good and I could see my webcam broadcast from my computer via my web site, but unfortunately I see no any other machine

I use Microsoft windows XP SP2
and flash media live encoder 3
but my UNIX web server
is this a problem?
Please send me your comments if its possible
Thank you very much

Replace localhost with the public ip address of the computer running FMS then paste the SWF on the Web server and mean it... will work, provided you rtmp string points to the computer running FMS

    Hello world. I read this topic (I have a lot of questions about Xperia Z2 with lollipop) and I have posted a question, but it seems that no one saw him. That means the following: (how can I install the source application unknown to other users in my phone because it is to the unknown source menu is disabled in the settings-> Security)? This means that I can not install all the apps if I switch to the lollipop? Can someone tell me please the exact meaning of this?

    Thank you.

    It's true, but game store will not need this option checked - loading of a file manager will - but which is not say that the application will work once installed

  • A few Questions about the videos on my Sansa Fuze

    Hey all,.

    I'm pretty new with my sansa fuze (I only had for about a week), and I have 2 questions about 'videos' on the "rocket"...

    Any help in answering these questions would be greatly appreciated!

    So:

    First of all, on my sansa fuze, I see 2 folders under the section "VIDÉO", "Audio_TS" and "Video_TS". What are these folders and files ranging in what folder?

    Second, I tried to load this video (about 20 min. length) through the Sansa Media Converter on my sansa fuze. Now, when I try to convert my video to a Vob (a kind of file extension), the appropriate file type file (which I suppose is all .mp4), I get a message saying: "It cannot convert, because your Sansa player is not connected" (even though I know I plugged). Is there a way I can get the Sansa converter program around and just use a different software to modify the mjy .mp4 file, or what I need to use the Sansa Media Converter to do?

    Again, any help is appreciated...

    Thank you

    OK two records don't matter to you. SMC (or any other program) place the files in there, so you don't need to worry. VOB files are not compatible with SMC, so when you rip the DVD, you must use a program like Any-Video-Converter to create an AVI file or a mpge (my recommendations). Rhapsody will also add videos to the "rocket" as well.

    How can you save a streaming video of a lead of mss with media player 11

    Hello

    Windows Media Player will play live streaming video, but does not save to read later.

    You need to download the recording software to use with Windows Media Player, you can use your favorite for this search engine.

  • Question about importing video footage in Premiere Pro

    I'm new to Premiere Pro and have a question about it. I need to move all my videos on my new computer (Windows) from my old computer (iMac running iMovie). Where should I store my images so I can access inside Premiere Pro? I just need to store everything on a hard drive, and then create inside Premiere Pro projects when I need to import images in, or should I create a 'library' to store all my movies in? Setup bridge would be another beneficial way to view my videos (I use Lightroom for my photo library)? I'm just trying to discern the way I need to store and organize everything in order to get started with Premiere Pro. Thank you!

    Premiere Pro has no capability of database for the media in general, only in a specific project. 'Import' is not like in Lightroom, it does in PrPro is tell her where to look for the media while working on this specific project.

    So... you need create your materials on a particular disc, presented in a way that you can find them in a folder structure you design.

    A typical use of PrPro spreads parts on several disks. OS/programs on the system drive, a disk each cache PrPro & cache of database files; preview files; and project files. Media probably on another drive and exports on a final drive.

    Access the disk cache & cache database files, preview files and project files are the two ways of reading & writing, in addition to being constant. Multimedia files are used unalterable and exports only Scripture, their connections can be a little less robust.

  • Question about making video memory

    I have a technical question on memorial videos.
    I have a video file of eight minutes, I intend to use to make a dvd to a wake.

    During the visits, I saw these videos playing on a loop without end are dvd players used by funeral homes put on a setting to read the dvd continuously or is the engraved dvd to play constantly.
    Thank you for your comments.

    What version of Premiere Elements you are using and on what computer operating system is running?

    I wrote in detail step by step how to create looping DVD-VIDEO on DVD using Premiere Elements in conjunction with one of the two third 3rd software. Premiere Elements on its own can give you a DVD-VIDEO loop on DVD disc end product.

    First Elements ATR troubleshooting: PE: DVD-VIDEO to DVD disc in a loop

    Please check the tos and, if you have any questions about them or need any clarification, feel free to ask.

    The player repeat function seems to be the fastest way for you in this busy time and difficult. Call the involved funeral director and find out what player equipment, he or she has, and if it includes the repeat function for DVD-VIDEO to DVD disc.

    The question you asked assumes that when you write a DVD, you want to say DVD-VIDEO on DVD and not AVCHD on DVD format. Please confirm. AVCHD DVD cannot be read on a "regular" DVD player In general, he needs a Blu - ray player with the right support.

    Please look over the above and then, don't hesitate to let us know how we can help you achieve the goal successfully.

  • I need to learn more about streaming video

    I want to put a video on a website so that it can broadcast. The file that I received is a 4.5 minutes of close to 29 MB .wmv file, and I have not worked with video before. I guess that the size of the file will have to be reduced (?) and so I would like some advice on this subject.
    Also, I need to know about how to set up streaming. I recently managed to get streaming audio to work, but video work is a book closed for me right now.
    Any help would be welcome, or advice where to find help.

  • A question about external authentication with PHP OCI8 using a portfolio store

    Hello
    SQL> SELECT * FROM v$version;

    BANNER
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit Production
    PL/SQL Release 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
    CORE     11.2.0.1.0     Production
    TNS for Linux: Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
    NLSRTL Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production

    SQL>
    OS: Linux Fedora Core 17 (x86_64)
    PHP Version: 5.4.14
    Apache version (httpd): Apache/2.2.23 (Fedora)
    I have a question about OCI8 connection to the Oracle server via portfolio, which I understand is a good practice because we do not have to hard code the users password. I'm trying to read pages 117 and 118 of the book The Underground PHP and Oracle manual online to learn how to set up a portfolio. I proceeded by steps as explained in these two pages (except that at the end I connect, as a normal user, not a privileged user) yet, apparently PHP does not detect the user.

    Here's what I write in my script
    $connection =
                    oci_connect
                        (
                            "training",
                            "",
                            "php_ora_usr",
                            "AL32UTF8"
                        );
    the training is the name of the user that I use in my PHP scripts to connect to the oracle database and the password is mypassword (is not true, just for the purpose of this thread :)) the code above gives me the following error:)
    Warning: oci_connect(): ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied in /var/www/html/myscript.php on line 91

    Fatal error: Connection step: ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied in /var/www/html/myscript.php on line 13
    But if I also provide the password which is,
    $connection =
                    oci_connect
                        (
                            "training",
                            "mypassword",
                            "php_ora_usr",
                            "AL32UTF8"
                        );
    Obviously it works, but at the same time, this means that my wallet is not operational.

    So I'll write here, step by step, how I did according to the instructions contained in the pages 117 and 118 of the above mentioned book and I would be grateful if you could kindly tell where I made the mistake (s)

    The following text was performed under my oracle linux (so the dbagroup)

    Step 01:_
    I created and provided the password for the directory of portfolio
    mkstore -wrl /home/oracle/wallet_dir -create
    Step 02:_
    I created an entry for my oracle user that will be used in my PHP scripts to connect to oracle
    user: training
    password: mypassword
    mkstore -wrl "/home/oracle/wallet_dir" -createCredential php_ora_usr training mypassword
    I also checked that the entry was actually created for my user in the portfolio
    $ mkstore -wrl "/home/oracle/wallet_dir" -listCredential
    Oracle Secret Store Tool : Version 11.2.0.1.0 - Production
    Copyright (c) 2004, 2009, Oracle and/or its affiliates. All rights reserved.

    Enter wallet password:

    List credential (index: connect_string username)
    1: php_ora_usr training
    $
    Step 03:_
    I added the following to my $TNS_ADMIN/tnsnames.ora
    .  .  .
    php_ora_usr =
      (DESCRIPTION =
        (ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = localhost)(PORT = 1521))
        (CONNECT_DATA =
          (SERVER = DEDICATED)
          (SERVICE_NAME = db02)
        )
      )
    .  .  .
    Step 04_
    I added the following to my $TNS_ADMIN/sqlnet.ora
    # sqlnet.ora Network Configuration File: /u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/db_1/network/admin/sqlnet.ora
    # Generated by Oracle configuration tools.

    NAMES.DIRECTORY_PATH= (TNSNAMES, EZCONNECT)

    ADR_BASE = /u01/app/oracle

    WALLET_LOCATION =
        (SOURCE =
            (METHOD = FILE)
            (METHOD_DATA =
                (DIRECTORY = /home/oracle/wallet_dir)
            )
        )
    SQLNET.WALLET_OVERRIDE = TRUE
    SSL_CLIENT_AUTHENTICATION = FALSE
    SSL_VERSION = 0
    _ Step 05
    The TNS_ADMIN environment variable is already set correctly in * / etc/sysconfig/httpd * so I didn't need to do something for this step

    Step 06_
    I gave to access Apache (as root) in the directory of portfolio (in fact, it seems that the user oracle (dba) of linux also has the required privileges to grant this access to the apache)
    # setfacl -m u:apache:rx /home/oracle/wallet_dir
    # setfacl -m u:apache:r /home/oracle/wallet_dir/{cwallet.sso,ewallet.p12}
    Step 07_
    Restart Apache
    # service httpd restart
    Step 08_
    Finally make a test connection using the connection string php_ora_usr which the entry was created earlier. And the test was not successful, as indicated above
    $connection =
                    oci_connect
                        (
                            "training",
                            "",
                            "php_ora_usr",
                            "AL32UTF8"
                        );
    The error message:
    Warning: oci_connect(): ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied in /var/www/html/myscript.php on line 91

    Fatal error: Connection step: ORA-01005: null password given; logon denied in /var/www/html/myscript.php on line 13
    I would appreciate it if you could kindly shed some light.

    Thanks in advance,
    Dariyoosh

    That gives a good clue to begin with. With your platform/Apache/DB, you might need different ACLs. Test directory and permissions. Check what euid your Apache runs as. Good luck.

  • Question about importing videos in the media library.

    Hi, I managed to record some videos (coming from a VCR) with media Center. I would like to handle videos with software and then burn it to a DVD.

    My problem is that I need to be able to view the video with Windows Media Player - is it possible to import the recording of "my videos"?

    Any help will be much appreciated.

    Thank you very much.

    EDIT: anyone know how to know the size of the recordings made with the media library?

    Hello

    See this FAQ Toshiba on saved files.
    http://support.toshiba-tro.de/KB0/FAQ5C018R000DR01.htm

    If you want to know the size of the saved if files you must use the properties of the file or the detail view option.

  • Clip Notes in CS4: questions about streaming

    I used the Clip Notes before by small embedded files, but it's my first time with a great video that I want to play on a server. Maybe someone can answer a few questions:

    1. Where should I name the movie file? The export dialog box only has a place name of the PDF file.
    2. How does the URL parameter? The documentation simply says "This is where your video file", but that is putting the cart before the horse. How can I specify the name and location of a film that has not yet been created and for which I have no control over the name? The FTP feature works very well, but it is for download only, not naming.
    3. After the film export and PDF, is there a way to re - generate the PDF without having to re - export the movie? I realized that I wanted to make a few changes to the PDF only (like the instructions and URL), and export another film will take time, which is not necessary.
    4. I learned here earlier that only the QuickTime option will give the player controls. But a large .mov requres a streaming server, I do not have. The .wmv option has the opposite problem. Does anyone know a workaround (or another method entirely) solution which will use Flash video? FLV or F4V will make a progressive download with sizes of small file for online viewing.

    Where should I name the movie file? The export dialog box only has a place name of the PDF file.

    The name you assign to the PDF is also attributed in the exported movie file, whether you use QT or WMV. So, if you set the name of the PDF file in the settings of export to "clipnotes.pdf", the video will be "clipnotes.mov" or "clipnotes.wmv", according to the format of your choice.

    How does the URL parameter? The documentation simply says "This is where your video file", but that is putting the cart before the horse. How can I specify the name and location of a film that has not yet been created and for which I have no control over the name? The FTP feature works very well, but it is for download only, not naming.

    See above. Since you now know what will be the name of the file, you just decide where the file will be resident on your server, and this entry in the URL field. The example above, you use would be something like "http://www.mysite.com/upload/clipnotes.mov". This is a full URL, with the "http://" necessary; Just change the relevant details.

    After the film export and PDF, is there a way to re - generate the PDF without having to re - export the movie? I realized that I wanted to make a few changes to the PDF only (like the instructions and URL), and export another film will take time, which is not necessary.

    Maybe, but I have not tested this:

    1. Basket of the original PDF file.
    2. Temporarily rename your video file originally exported, or move it to a different folder, so that it is not replaced.
    3. Set your scope to export an image, using the same settings and the same name as you did for your first export, then restart the export.
    4. Throw new movie file and rename the original or bring it back to its original folder. The only link the PDF has to the film being the URL and the file name, file it should work.

    I don't think you need a streaming server; I tested QuickTime from a server HTTP ol ' ordinary and it works very well. By the way, I should add, QuickTime streaming didn't work for me, at all. I just tried it out, and it seems that a recent update to Adobe Reader may have solved the problem. WMV streaming always worked well. Curious.

    The extent of the Flash: are you talking about using Flash Video in ClipNotes or simply Flash video display online, in general? At that time, ClipNotes is QuickTime or WMV only, but I wouldn't be surprised if Flash Video makes an appearance in ClipNotes CS5, given the emphasis on Flash in the ecosystem of Adobe. If you're talking about general reading FLV, discover the JW FLV Media Player. It's a pretty simple to configure Flash Video player that can be embedded in a Web page.

  • A few questions about the video conference via the public network

    Hi all

    I have a few questions that need your help:

    1. normally, I connect endpoints to MCU via local network (extended WAN) so everything is OK. But if I want to connect to the MCU via the public network (e.g. Internet FTTH), am I any equipment more or MCU settings? Need video firewall option?

    2 Cisco Telepresence does support VPN for remote endpoint to join video conference?

    Thank you

    Hi yours!

    (1) If you are looking in the connectivity, I would recommend that you speak to someone in sales of cisco (partner)

    to tell you a little more about the deployment of VCS-E and VCS - C.

    You need something to do good firewall/nat traversal, not only for the nat in your organization,

    but also for remote users with endpoints behind a nat home router,...

    (2) the endpoints and the infrastructure do not have a vpn client, but you can of course use VPN router between the two.

    But you should know that the video uses a certain packets per second and bandwidth so the vpn router could

    in trouble and a vpn also adds the overhead rate ip then you have MTU problems.

    But yes, I saw people using Cisco Telepresence via VPN.

  • Qosmio F30 - question about D-video out

    Hey,.

    A few months ago I bought a laptop Toshiba Qosmio F30 in Germany that has a video-D output. There is also a cable included in conversion of D-video to SCART. I tried that with some TVs at home using the SCART, but there was always a horrible fuzzy video signal where I couldn't identify some of the desktop icons. Do you have any idea what's wrong here?

    Greetz

    Hello

    I don't know about you but in the BIOS settings somewhere must be option to activate the option SCART. Please, enter BIOS settings and check it out.
    Another very important thing is to use the right channel of the TV.

    Good luck!

  • Question about the video capabilities of MacBook Pro

    I have a 2011 13 "MacBook Air. I use on vacation to see movies in iTunes and sometimes stream of baseball games on the browser. To do this, I use the Thunderbolt port with an HDMI adapter. The screen reflects what I send to the TV via HDMI.

    I plan to move to a MacBook Pro. So here's my question.

    With a MacBook Pro 2011 or later, can I watch a movie from iTunes on the TV (via the Thunderbolt port) at the same time web browsing on the computer screen? This isn't something I can do on the Air.

    Thank you.

    You should be able to do with your MacBook Air. Have you opened the preferences system-> poster and disabled the option of mirroring?

  • How I replace perfectly my record excel sheet with ability of database? + General questions about computing distributed with LabVIEW

    Surprisingly, I'm almost finished with a full blown control-simulation application, that I've been working on for more than a year now, thanks in no small part of this community. The final step is to run on the simulations of k ~ 8 and be able to meet a simulation and overall statistics on performance. Each simulation is taking about 6 minutes of real time to run (~ 2 seconds of real time per hour of simulation time, valid for 7 days of simulation), as we seek to about 800 hours of your time to simulate. I have 5 computers available and a raspberry 2 Pi these simulations on, I'm looking to set up a kind of compute cluster at the end in about 2 weeks.

    The ability of current logging is sketchy; I got about 40 columns of data, and they are written in a spreadsheet with a .xls format tabs-delimited. This works very well for individual simulations, but it would be quite heavy to deal with if I had more than 20,000 of them. I think this must be done with a relational database sort, but my experience with databases is very limited, especially then, when it comes to LabVIEW. Here are my questions:

    -Can I create a kind of master-slave configuration where a computer (and probably the Pi) keeps track of the simulations are complete, which are running, and who have never run? Computers slaves ask for simulation settings, and IP would give them to him.

    -How should I take care of the database? Each simulation is about 500 k in .xls format, it's about 5 GB of data in all. Computers slaves synchronization from time to time to take care of the redundancy?

    -How can I refine my memory + General fresh disk I/O? How can I know which items from my point of view most of them?

    -Do you have suggestions for the implementation of clusters of databases relational/computer with LabVIEW?

    I have attached a picture of my configuration of logging + the overall structure of the application. It is a state machine with a structure of the event for the interruptions.
