  You need a company for private distribution account.

  You could fake it by using the content viewer Adobe and putting an overlay of web on each page with a link to a web page with google analytic. Which would give you a very basic idea of what is being looked at assuming that each user is online. In addition, you will need to use enterprise.

• How can I test updates to a folio in a multi-folio without affecting the direct application?

  Earlier this year, we have created a multi-folio for a client application and it is available in the app store. We are working on the updating of a folio in the multi folio and have difficulties to test updates before they go live.

  We have transferred the files through Folio Builder under the same ID as the original folio was built. A private time has been selected, the folio direct since the app store was removed from our iPad and was no longer available for download. Once we went into producer Folio and changed from private to public, it instantly shows up on our iPad.

  Once the revised files are uploaded through Folio Builder, we can connect to Adobe Content Viewer to review updates but the content viewer is not always a perfect finished product representation (ex: videos).

  My question is: How can I test updates to a folio in a multi-folio without affecting the direct application?

  We have an application multi-folio as well and we test in the Adobe Content Viewer application. You can either sign with your publishing Adobe ID and it will appear or share the folio in InDesign with a different Adobe ID if you prefer.

  Unfortunately there is no other way, you must build a new application as an application Multi question in DPS App Builder, publish your folio as 'Public' of the title id and submit to Apple for approval.

• Accidents of the content viewer, will be my multi-folio app crash as well?

  I am setting up numbers before our multi-folio application will live in a few weeks (my first foray into Adobe DPS). Certain sections of my folios are very large in size due to the large PNG status slide shows (about 25 MB for each article) object. These items are now causing Adobe Content Viewer (ACV) to plant, since the app has been updated to accommodate the v26 versions. I tried to create identical sheets with v25, v26 tools and they both crash when reading the articles large.

  ACV is not crushed when reading the exact same folios/articles before the app updated to accommodate the v26 tools. I test on an iPad 1. I'll be able to test on an iPad 2 and iPad 3 in the coming days. The same type of folios/items do not stroke cause crashing on android before or after the update.

  My question is... does ACV crashing average that my app real multi-folio is guaranteed to hang when it goes live in a couple of weeks? Or is this a bug in LCA that didn't exist in my app real multi-folio?

  LCA and the custom Viewer are the same. If you are having problems with the STROKE you will have the same problems with your custom application. This isn't a bug in the software, this is the app to run out of memory due to the complexity of your pages. iPads are not as powerful as desktop computers. If you design with slideshows full PNG articles pages with several States you wind upward with problems of memory. You need to rethink your page design to simplify the number of assets that you have.

  I'm currently testing a free subscription, multi folio kiosk app with refunds. However, the viewer opens without any folios - just the tiles of the subscription. I have triple checked the product Apple ID, shared secrets and that all appropriate certificates. I'm at my wit's end! A few questions:

  Should free subscriptions folios be public/free or retail? I read conflicting things.

  I'm a little unsure of the order in which I should publish folios in the producer of folio. This step proceed or follow creating the .ipa to test?

  As the name of the substance actual folios, as long as they are the same? I only need the ID of the product right even for iTunes Connect and App generator, correct?

  I noticed that after entering your shared secret there is a field to enter a url to iTunes in the administration tool. What url do we use? We enter this after the folio is public?

  A free subscription should be public/free, not retail.

  It does not matter what order you publish folios and create the .ipa to test. When you publish the folios as free and Public, they should appear in your app tests if (A) you specify the shared secret, (B) published folios like Public/Free, (C) set up your refunds/folios correctly and d specified free subscription Product ID created in iTunes Connect in the DPS App Builder.

  When you set up the formats for an app of the subscription, the values of name of slip, product ID, and Date of Publication must be the same for all partners and different formats for each set of "rendition". Specify the values of Date of Publication by choosing from the calendar picker.

  Yes, the iTunes URL becomes available when you publish the application.

• Various applications of multi-Folio on Pro license

  This is my first post and have a question that I can't find a clear answer.

  I played a bit with the DPS system for a few weeks now, tinkered with Viewer custom branded apps etc and so far very impressed.

  It doesn't seem to be a 'fine print' quite a lot which is not expressly stated by Adobe and usually I have to look around and ask my representative 50 questions a day.

  In any case I am on the point of buying an annual Pro license but need something cleared up (I met with Adobe locally and they told me it wasn't possible using the Pro license, but I would like to confirm that I was not convinced by the answer, to be honest).

  For the most part with my Pro license, I need be able to:

  What I can't seem to know is how different the distribution service publicly available folios are sent for the soft multi-folio to be? I am concerned about sending folio a 1 customer for the purposes of the customer 2.

  Now, I'm assuming that the unique identifier only I can find is the * product ID * (for example, com.publisher.publication). This would result in:

  Is the ID of the product that would allow me to distinguish between clients?

  I really hope this isn't my Adobe ID, which would mean basically I have to buy a DPS license by customer and making it economically unfeasible.

  The Adobe ID, is what determines what questions are available in the applications:

  The product ID is what links your question (folio) for in-app purchase that you set up in the store. If your folio is free, the product ID is not really important.

• What are the fees charged to the account of Digital Publishing Suite holder, when folios are uploaded within a published application of multi-folio?

  I am trying to determine for my client if we should use a single platform or multi folio to build an app for the company. content wise, we would be able to accommodate both types, but I'm more concerned about the cost. I did some research and discovered the following:

  "Every time that a user downloads a folio (actually a"purchase"of the free content or retail app), a download is charged to the owner of the Digital Publishing Suite account."

  What is the cost of this tax? and how is it charged on the account?

  On which page did you find this line? We're more fresh download by folio for people to sign new contracts (or renewal).

  My project gave the go ahead as we approach launch.

  I read the accompanying Adobe edition for iPad Guide, searched the forum and google but found no answers about how a multi-folio application is submitted and approved. I understand that an application multi-folio is a feature of Adobe DPS based on a shell/container library application. The viewer multi-folio get app submitted to Apple? If Yes, do I need to do a layout for it (use a professional license)?

  Is there a step by step guide that I missed the details of the creation and submission of an application multi-folio?

  You must submit this application to Apple, but you must also ensure some content available to be downloaded immediately for review. You can have your first edition as free and public or maybe a sample problem.
