  • Cannot create the object push service

    Hello:

    I've been stuck on this for weeks.

    I followed all the steps, but

    When I run this line,

    blackberry.push.PushService.create (ops, failCallback successCallback, simChangeCallback, pushTransportReadyCallback);

    it not always returns faillCallBack, and the error code is 500 - error: an internal error has occurred by calling blackberry.push.PushService.create. Try to restart the application.

    does anyone have any ideas?

    Thank you.

    Push both by Wi - Fi works with a SIM card inserted.

    Oh, just thought that what the problem most likely is for you.

    When you request signing keys, you must ensure you get special permission to use push.

    When you asked signing keys and an account of BlackBerry Push Service?  This new permission to push is new, old signature keys don't have it.

    If you have an active account of BlackBerry Push Service and has not received an email with the procedure Add permission to push it to your keys, then please email [email protected].  Let them know you have a Services Push account and want permission to Push added to your keys.  In addition, give them the email address associated with your code current signing keys. That should be enough for get you approval within a day or two.

    Let me know if you encounter any problems.

  • Internet Explore has stopped working - question of the biometric authentication service

    My Elitebook 8540p has developed a problem where I get the error message - Internet Explorer has stopped working... Turn it back on.     I am running Windows 7 32 bit.   And using IE9.

    After some internet reading, I started my services of neutralization.    I finally got down to a service that is causing the problem.

    Biometric Authentication Service Digital Persona Inc.

    When I disable the service in the services of the MSconfig System Configuration and reboot, I use internet explore without any problem.    (I've identified some Web pages which would agrivate the question.)

    The deactivation of the Service of Authenticaton of Biomitric causes the scanner to not work.     I tried to reload the driver for fingerprint reader, and the HP Protect tools Security Manager.

    Any idea how I can activate the biometric authentication Service and not IE stopped working the issue?

    j1bissig

    I had the same problem on my HP Pavilion dv7 and had the chance of getting a solution.

    I, too, put the finger on biometric authentication as the problem Service.  By disabling the service, Internet Explorer worked well; except, now, I had no finger analysis feature.  I installed the latest version and it worked for a few sessions and then the problem comes back.

    Looking at my updates, I realized that the Flash is set to update at the same time, the problem started.  I tested by activating the biometric authentication Service.  Instead, I disabled the Flash add-on in Internet Explorer and it did not work again; except, now, I had no Flash.

    Searching online, I came across this post from Adobe:

    Post on the Adobe Forum: IE9, Windows 7 64-bit Flash causes "Internet Explorer has stopped working".

    I followed the instructions in this post, including the "clean install" and reverted to version 10.3 of Flash.

    Post on the Adobe Forum: how to return to a previous version of Flash Player?

    Now, all the features work correctly.

    I hope this helps!

  • The BlackBerry Push service registration process

    I have asked the Services of BlackBerry Push for trials in January last 26 in order to generate an active push application.

    I have not received news about the State of the process.

    How long this process takes usually?

    There has been some delays in recent weeks with the registration of new accounts to push.  The team pushing will get these created as soon as they can.

    is there a difference for testing and deployment?

    Thank you.

  • Question about the OSB proxy service

    Hello

    I'm new to the world of SOA/OSB. I'm working on a POC from the OSB for our existing application. I have a question about the definition of the URL endpoint to the proxy service. It is possible to specify a generic url endpoint to a proxy service. Something like / SomeService / *. I tried and got errors. Is it possible to do somethig like that or it is a mistake on a conceptual level.

    Thank you

    anything you type in the uri of the endpoint of entry will be the contextroot to your service, so /SomeService should indeed be sufficient or as mentioned Pierluigi/SomeService/blabla is also valid (Betty is not a parameter query, but only a part of the contextroot)

    If you want to use a service like http rest

    / SomeService/blabla would still be the contextroot, and after that, you can use the query parameters

    / SomeService/badarou? var1 = test & var2 = test or/SomeService/blabla/employee/id/1

  • Question about the NTS Authentication Service

    Hello

    By reading some Oracle related articles on the web, I found the following:

    >
    NTS Authentication Service should be disabled in a default installation.

    These latest versions of Oracle have SQLNET Authentication Services, but most of the time (especially but not only with personal Oracle), these services are not installed. However, the Oracle installer allows their use. There is a bug in the installer of Oracle.

    In the text gross sqlnet.ora file (located in the same directory as the TNSNAMES file. ORA, i.e. ORACLE_HOME\net80\admin or ORACLE_HOME\network\admin), you can find the following line:
    SQLNET. AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)

    Delete this line or to precede a comment sign, so that it read like this:

    # SQLNET. AUTHENTICATION_SERVICES = (NTS)

    Save this file. You may have to restart Oracle if it runs on the same computer. The whole machine reboot may take longer, but it is easier to do.

    Please NOTE: there may be facilities Oracle where the NTS Authentication Service is needed. But for these facilities, you can expect that the local administrator of Oracle knows that it is required.
    >

    The question is: How can I determine if NTS authentication service is really necessary?

    Thank you for your help,

    John.

    John,

    The NTS service is used in windows environments to the Sys user authentication based on o/s level authentication. So if you are not ready to provide the password for the Sys user, each time, you must set it. This is normally not with fear of a person to connect without using the password and if I remember correctly, the authentication of the o/s don't get verified with the audit standard.

  • Questions about the upgrade to Service Pack 3.

    I want to install visual studio 2010 on my windows xp sp2 computer. But during the installation, we recommend that I needed sp3 to move forward. Is it possible if I get the windows xp disk that contains windows xp sp3 and upgrade my computer to sp3. Because the size of the service pack is huge in size in the microsoft Web site. I just want to know if I can upgrade my computer to sp3 using a disc of windows xp sp3.

    Hi Roland, Mathurin

    With the help of CD which has Windows XP with SP3 integrated must be in a clean install and this results in the loss of data and applications.

    The recommended way to upgrade your computer to SP3 therefore you download SP 3 and install or use a CD that has SP3 standalone.

    Let me know if you have any other questions.

    Kind regards

  • SDK - ID of the app blackBerry Push service

    I'm following the steps in the guide BlackBerry push Service SDK available here:

    http://docs.BlackBerry.com/en/developers/deliverables/14465/BlackBerry_Push_Service_SDK-Getting_Star...

    I am currently on page 20 in the section "configure applications server manually." It asks me to change the value ${sampleapp.appid} in the properties file.

    As I'm just going through the guide as a reference, what value should I enter here?

  • Registration of the Client Push BlackBerry rejected by the server

    Hi all

    Successfully, I registered for the blackberry push service assessment and received the appropriate credentials.

    However, whenever I try to save my client push service, I have developed with the help of a real device, I get a "rejected by Server error."

    I've only got my credentials 5 days ago, so I don't think that it has expired.

    I use a blackberry 9700 OS 6 to test this.

    The Client I wrote is a variant of the client Push service example.

    Here is the registration code.

    public void register() throws Exception {
            ApplicationDescriptor ad = ApplicationDescriptor.currentApplicationDescriptor();
            //byte serverType = PushApplicationDescriptor.SERVER_TYPE_BPAS;
            PushApplicationDescriptor pad = new PushApplicationDescriptor( PushConfig.APP_ID, PushConfig.PORT,
                    PushConfig.REG_URL, PushApplicationDescriptor.SERVER_TYPE_BPAS, ad );
            // check whether already registered or registration pending
            PushApplicationStatus pushApplicationStatus = PushApplicationRegistry.getStatus( pad );
            byte pasStatus = pushApplicationStatus.getStatus();
            System.out.println("Starting Registration");
            if( pasStatus == PushApplicationStatus.STATUS_ACTIVE ) {
                Subscriber subscriber = new Subscriber();
                subscriber.subscribe();//register again but don't block.
                System.out.println("successful registration");
                return;

            } else if( pasStatus == PushApplicationStatus.STATUS_PENDING ) {
                // we already scheduled registration, wait for its result
                print("Registration pending");
            } else {
                // not registered yet, register
                System.out.println("not registered yet");
                PushApplicationRegistry.registerApplication( pad );
            }
            parseRegistrationResult();
        }

    In the onStatusChange(), I have this:

    public void onStatusChange(PushApplicationStatus pushAppStatus) {
            byte bpsStatus = pushAppStatus.getStatus();
            byte regReason = pushAppStatus.getReason();
            String error = pushAppStatus.getError();

            boolean simChanged = false;
            _regStatus = bpsStatus;

            switch( bpsStatus ) {
                case PushApplicationStatus.STATUS_ACTIVE:
                    Subscriber subscriber = new Subscriber();
                    String result = "";

                    subscriber.subscribe(); //initiate subscription
                    result = subscriber.getResult();
                    print("result is "+ result);
                    if(result == "s") {
                        print("Whoop!")
                    } else {

  • RIM Push Notifications - connection limit

    Hello

    I send the rim push push through my BES BlackBerry.

    I received notifcation to another server. This server another wait notification.

    It works well, but it stops to work every day.

    The BES stops to send notifications to the other server. (even if the push message has been successfully delivered).

    I think that there is a connection limit or something like that.

    You have an idea?

    Looks like I'm wrong, we do not see a response from the device:

    <2011-01-28 10:35:36.095 CET>:[45819]:::

    But logging still does not show an attempt to notify the server and yet some information is missing. Could you please allow both verbose and logging HTTP? Also please let me know:

    -What size of shoot you send

    -The frequency that they are sent

    -Are there many instances of MDS - CS in your environment?

    -Try to push to another user, after that this problem occurs, you receive a response?

    -You send all right pushing every time during this test?
