  I tried to review other messages (as well as the documentation for VMware) regarding the plugins installation/registration on [the customer] production servers.  Specifically, I was looking at this recent announcement:

  It seems that [option2] is obviously easier for the customer, but makes it harder to make a plugin that everyone has access to.  [Variant 1] requires a bit of work for the customer, but allows the developer to restrict access to the plugin for customers who have paid for the product.  Certainly the installer can block based on the license key, but anyone with some knowledge of vSphere Client Web plugins as well as documentation 'Save your plugin package' could take a plugin .zip file and install it manually without an official Installer (when the .zip is hosted to the public).

  You must take the URL of the ZIP file as an input for your script so that all options can be supported. If the zip file is hosted in the customer environment, then the URL should point to that. If you host the zip file on your own server, then the URL should point to your server.

  You should code hard not URL that you have mentioned in the #2 option, because there are several companies and agencies Government which do not allow to connect outside of their network.

• Question about registration of the compositions

  I wonder if there is a way I can quickly save an individual publication with its assets within a project.  For example: I have a project of 'Active' that I keep open as a composition in the project, I'm working on so I can quickly grab the goods I use a lot.  Sometimes, I'll create a new asset for the job I want to add to my "assets". AEP' but I can not simply copy the layers in my 'Active' composition and then save the comp. like it's own .aep file.  Instead, I need to save a project, delete everything except my asset mix and then save as Assets.aep and re - open my current project.

  Is it possible to export or save an individual model, from a project with a lot of comps, as is the project?

  Not directly.  In a project file duplicated (of security), you remove all unwanted comps, then select all the searched comps and use project reduce.

  I have a question about a problem with iTunes on the iPhone (iOS), but I do not see a 'Community' with this title (or anything close;  I have no idea what "iTunes U" means).

  For lack of a better idea, I just posted to the community "iTunes for Mac", but I don't think that's true.

• Question about ActionBar on the first screen of the application

  Hi, I have a question about the actionbar behavior in the first screen of the application

  index.htm pushes immediately main.htm with actionbar. ActionBar clicks and responds correctly until I have add overflow on some buttons.

  When I click on the button of overflow, the overflow is displayed at the bottom of the page, the top of the overflow is put in correspondence with the upper part of the actionbar so buttons actionbar overflowing content is not visible.

  Your example of code appears that I wasn't there. The default iterator and one that you get by vo.createRowSetIterator are different.

  And do not forget to close the iterator, you created as you lose in other resources.

  We create these disks to customers of all time.  In our case we have Win 7 Pro, pre-loaded.  Win 8 discs are already included with the device.

  The process of factory recovery disks will create a set of disks [the E530 in the USA, to 4 DVD - Yes it would be nice to know how much to advance] will allow you to restore your machine out of the box.  The first disc it creates is a boot disk - you start from this when you start the recovery process - that's all it is. No file data/images for the restore process.  Other disks contain image files needed for restoration.  This does not save the user data. It is a different process.

  Since you started & cancelled the process, I'm not sure that it will allow you to re - burning the discs.  Because of the MS license restrictions, you are allowed to burn discs once.  We got all the way on the last drive and had the process fail [we don't know why - maybe bad disc?] and we cannot redo records because he thinks that we have successfully created their.  So, we have to call Lenovo support and ask them to send us a set of disks in Windows 7.

• Question about vMAC on the DLR LIF

  Based on the design of NSX Guide: "every LIF has assigned an IP address, which represents the default IP for the logical segment L2 bridge, it connects to a vMAC address. The IP address is obviously unique by LIF, then that same VMAC is attributed to all LIF defined"

  This test in the HOL laboratories, I started a ping from 172.16.10.11-> 172.16.20.11.  I configured a mirror port with source such as app-sr-01 a (172.16.20.11) (not available on servers web/app HOL tcpdump!). Looking at the MAC addresses on the package 'in' GRE encapsulated packet (see below cliché) I have a few questions:

  1. whence the source MAC on the 00:50:56:f1:f7:a2 of ICMP request packets? What cli command would show this MAC address?

  2. If each LIF must have the same vMAC, "arp - a" output on the corresponding servers shows different MACs for 10.1 and 20.1 LIF.  Is this expected or a Nested lab thing or did I miss something?

  

  1 MAC SRC in the query is almost certainly a pMAC for the ESXi server where the web-sv-01 has. You should be able to see in "net-vdr - C-l" running on this host.

  2. "arp - a" output for your web-sv-01 a don't look right, you should see VMAC (02:50:56:56:44:52) for all DLR LIF. What version of NSX do you use?

• Question regarding access to the catalogues and files to an external hard drive in 6 items.

  Having just acquired a DHM, I have successfully conducted a test of back up of a catalogue of photo of 6 2000 of an XP PC-based elements, using the Elements 6 complete the backup process. This process is intended to be used eventually to transfer it and other catalogs on a new Windows 8 PC installed with 11 elements.

  However, while I would also like to be able to access the image files and the data of the catalogue on the EHD for a Vista based laptop which also has some Elements installed 6. Can you please advise how to make this without a full restoration of process that would load all the files on the hard drive of my laptop.

  In the transfer of the EHD image I also seem to have lost the original structure of the file that was on my PC, as the files have been renamed numerically and are all files held individually in the main folder of the ehd. While is not too serious a lot while the files remain on the EHD, provided the catalog always knows where to find them, has the structure of the file original been permanently lost, or I can it recreate when I finally to restore the files and catalog on the new PC in Windows 8?

  I can't wait to get this process right as I have a much bigger catalog similarly backup and transfer, once I was able to acquire the new PC and hoped to be able access the same way this catalogue by my laptop of EHD. given the lack of hard drive space on my laptop to contain all the 20 000 files that are involved.

  My A660-10W (new) was wrong and Toshiba (Mafil in Israel) has changed the hard drive.
