  I used the Table Inspector in Acrobat and several years of the CommonLook plug-in version. Both allow you to set several properties for all the cells in a selection. And they act as if they fortunately put header IDs for multiple cells, but after clicking OK and watch the cell properties, TI is not set for any of them, and CL only sets it to the first cell that has been selected.

  I prepare a PDF file of scientific reports for Section 508 compliance. Often, they are hundreds of pages long and got the results of large tables. Some clients insist on complex headers. Cell by cell is surprisingly long.

  I am running the latest version of CommonLook and manages to assign very well identification tags.  You can select multiple cells and assign them to a header.  You can also select the same cells and assign them to another heading using "Append". This will add the new header, without deleting the header already assigned.  In earlier versions Append has not worked for me.   That's what you need, if you have complex tables for a long time.  If you get the latest version and this isn't the case call Technical Support, as the plugin does not work correctly.  The Touch Up reading order tool does not.

  I sometimes create a white/hidden text for the header text that spans several columns and then create individual to keep them, but I wouldn't rely on it for long tables or use it as my main method. It's a pretty quick solution in some cases - or if your author likes to let in line 1, column 1 white, you can create your own invisible header for the screen reader.  But it is too difficult to verify, and not the best route to follow. Also the hidden text is considered a no-no by some as it is supposed to be a drop out / drop behind or mistake to layout.

  I'm trying to figure if its possible to highlight the text without a pop-up made as I am using the highlighter tool marks just the important information for the quizzes and do not need a pop-up made whenever I'm stressed!   Under preferences > commenting on, make sure that 'pop ups comment automatically open comments other than notes' is turned off.

  You can open Notepad and type something.  Press the Insert key, and then try to go back and change what you type and you will see the difference between insert and Overtype.

  I can't help with Firefox, but in IE, you can change the colours via Tools | Internet Options | The colors.  I think Firefox has a similar option, but you need to ask in a forum of Firefox to see the option.  As it happens in the browser, then it is clearly a browser problem and not a problem in Windows mail.

  I find the way to text size too small in most news reader applications.  Looks like you should be able to increase or decrease the text size the same thing you do in a browser using CTRL + or CTRL-, or your mouse wheel.

  You can increase the size of the text on the desktop, but it doesn't have any effect on the subway, or whatever you call it today.

  Probably, there should be a setting to increase the size of the text under settings of PC!

  IMO, I would probably find a lot of people out there wouldn't buy a W8 Tablet since the text is to small to read!  This has fixed as soon as POSSIBLE!

  Edit: I noticed that a lot of Apps is updated to help with this problem.  Unfortunately not on the main screen of App, if you select an item to read the improvement will become visible or selectable.

  On the start screen simply type the word "police" and select the filter settings on the right.  You should see an option 'Make text and other items more or less '.  Click on that and adjust the text or at the desired size.

  These instructions don't change the DPI of the screen ratio when it is in the classic user of Windows interface. The new interface Windows username however does not change when this setting is changed (which, in itself, is rather unfortunate).

  The only way to change the font size of Windows apps Store is as follows:

  1. click on the Start button to get the new user of Windows interface

  2 start typing 'police' (without the quotes)

  3. click on "settings".

  4. click on "enlarge everything on your screen; This opens the settings of PC (which is different from the classic Configuration screen)

  5. set "Enlarge everything on your screen" on it.

  Personally, I still find it too small for a lot of apps, but it's a small improvement on the default settings.

  I opened the PDF in Acrobat Reader, the desktop version and confirmed that your highlight color is set to black and opacity is set to 100%.

  

  I suspect that accidentally set you the highlight color in black by Acrobat Reader for iOS on your iPad Air.  (The default color is yellow).

  To change the highlight color

  1. Open your PDF document in Acrobat Reader for iOS.
  2. Type on the black nail in the document.
  3. Select 'Color'... "in the context menu that appears.
     
  4. Click the color you want in the color scheme.
     

  It can be difficult to see due to the background color of your PDF document.  But you can see that the highlight color has changed and the highlighted text is readable now.

  

  Optionally, you can change its opacity by selecting 'opacity '.... "in step 3 above.

  Acrobat Reader will remember your highlight color choice next time.

  You know the password? Otherwise, the security policy does not allow adding comments in the file, then there is nothing you can do about it.

  Not sure if you are on Windows or Mac, but if you use a Windows machine in Explorer details you can view the resolution.

  Just do a right click upward in the row that contains the column headings (name, Date, Type, etc.) from here if you go down to more it gives you a list of huuuuge of what it can display for you right there in Windows Explorer.

  I have a DVD menu created in Photoshop that doesn't look like it works when I Preview in Encore. Basic navigation is a series of 5 buttons on the left, with no visible text at first. When a button is activated, the text States, as below:

  

  When the user moves to the next button, this text will disappear and displays the following text.

  As far as I know that the button layers are arranged correctly:

  

  The button group (+) Red contains the Red Stripe layers, which is the button itself. (= 1) Red, which contains the elements of high point, and the red text layer, which is the text "RED STRIPE REQUIREMENTS". The text RED layer has an opacity of 0%. The (= 1) nail red element contains a white line for red and the button fill for text. Each of the 5 buttons work in exactly the same way, by using 5 different colors for each button.

  When I import menu in Encore and preview, it does not match what I want to see. What I do in Photoshop done properly, or do I have to change the way my layer structure is put in place?

  FYI, there is a method to simulate the autoactivate usikng to take you to a menu different than a button colors etc as part of the background image. -Will not work on computers because mouse on does not autoactivate.

  If you want visible rectangles of reader by default, just select all the links in the links Panel and change "hyperlink... options. "(retractable menu) from the invisible to the visible (do not change any other field).
