• SBS2008: WSUS 3 update sp2 - now Can t Open SBS Console, MMC, etc.!

  The WSUS 3 sp2 update installed end of the year and now I can't access the SBS console (Windows SBS 2008 Console has stopped working), Server Manager (MMC has stopped working), etc. I guess 4 hotfix rollup resolves this problem, but which will not install it, so I'm stuck.

  I installed as many updates as I can in the hope that this solves the problem but always Rollup 4 will not install (error details: code 6ba).

  2 errors in the event log:

• How to fix: Page Template styles do not respond to changes in CSS files in the text editor of 'Developing' Admin Console

  I bought a model site.  It has a css file, /styles/screen.css

  It also has a template page 'home' with the link to the style sheet within the < head > section:

  I am tempted to change screen.css, by editing the file in the 'Develop' administration Console and pressing the 'Save' button on the file when changes are made.

  However, the changes do not appear in the preview of the Page template.

  It's like the Page template does not recognize changes to the screen.css.

  I think that you too complicate the thinking problem that BC is a non-standard way of processing applications to a css file. This looks more like a cache or perhaps a code problem. However, I would be happy to take a look at your code and see if I can remember where is the problem. Try Skype me and screen-sharing and I'll see what I can do. • missing or corrupt file system 32 config system access denied in the recovery console

  I tried to solve the problem with a 32 corrupt system config and when I go into the recovery console, it does not ask for any password which is one of the first things that the recovery console is supposed to ask.  When I type the command 'md tmp' to start the recovery process, it tells me ACCESS DENIED.  I have no password for the system or the administrative password.  I hope someone can help me.  Thank you very much.  I use the dell 4700 running windows XP.

  I'm having a problem in Flex that parses an XML file, one of the names in the text file contains the word "infinite". Unfortunately, it is a constant in Flex and the element of my table don't think it's a text string but a value. I tried the definition of the xml element type and by putting the characters exhaust around the text, but nothing does. If I change the text of tiny "infinite", it works fine.

  I'm setting up a server managed by the administration console and the only element that me up is when I add the following in the sections of Arguments:

  -Djava.protocol.handler.pkgs = oracle.mds .net .protocol ' |' Oracle.fabric.Common.classloaderurl.handler'| ' Oracle.fabric.Common.uddiurl.handler'| ' Oracle.BPM.IO.FS.Protocol.

  Note the command line script used double quotes ("") but the console gave an error - Arguments cannot contain ' "' this seemed reasonable, so I moved the quotes to apostrophes."

  Passage to apostrophes allowed me to work around the error.

  The managed server fails when I start from the console:

  Oracle.fabric.Common.classloaderurl.Handler ' is not recognized as an internal or external command, an executable program or batch file. -It's as if she ignores the values after the apostrophes and the fials.

  I don't know what was the original question, if it was based on a thug affecting on one of my addons or whatever, but one day FF said that my browser took too long so that it starts and asked me if I wanted to correct that. Duh!

  I said yes, and he seems to have reset my settings of browser including losing all my addons. The positive side is that once I have re-installed all my addons, I can now navigate local reports generated by my EMC SAN with no problems!
