  Download Camera Raw 8.7 update fails in Photoshop CS6. I read a post from someone with the same problem who said that he was told to uninstall/reinstall Photoshop. That cannot be the answer, and many people must be having trouble with this download. Help, please!   OK, to account. I needed to update my Windows 7 Photoshop ACR to 8.7, so I went the same link I gave you.

  I usually keep Firefox and Chrome browsers. I put my download location in the preferences of browser on 'Office '.

  Then I went to this link and click on the zip file. I chose 'Save' instead of 'open with '.

  The zip file is now on my desk, I can see it.

  I double-click it to unzip it (I use Winrar 5.11) I then get the .exe installer.

  I close all my programs, run the installer and enter my admin password when asked. He simply settled with a single click.

  When I finished, I open the bridge, go to preferences Raw camera to see I have 8,7 I.

  I recently took delivery on a brand new MacBook Pro 15 "with Yosemite. I still own CS5 and I installed the basic software and did all the updates to the operating system, but for all CS5 updates will not be installed.

  I open Manager install Adobe, select available updates, I get the download to the end progress, but ultimately the downloads fail.

  I keep trying to quit and try again later, still no good. I tried this five times. My internet is good, I just finished the OS updates and downloads, but CS5 updates are yet to be complete.

  My computer crashed and I'll have to reinstall the CS5 Master Collection.  The installation went well until I check the updates.  He tells me that there is an update for almost all members of the collections.  When I run the updater, it shows that it downloads the files but once finish gives me an error.  The error that says "some updates failed to install" 'what follows could not install if you want to install these items, solve the problems below and try again.'   However, I was still having problems to update Pixel Bender Toolkit 2.5.  It turns out that it is a known problem with a fix. I did it and it worked.

  Just thought I would add that in case someone else was always a problem.

  Reinstalled first elements, used help, look for the updates.  Camera Raw 6.7 was installed by the update process.  That's how I discovered I'm good.

  I'm trying to update my adobe CS5 applications after a reinstalled Win764. Windows is up to date, as well as pilots. I have tried to uninstall, reinstall adobe suite, same mistakes.

  The MAA said "some updates could not be installed."  The terms level single application AAM are 'there is an error in downloading this update. "Quit and try again later."

  The logs show the following similar lines for each application:

  Very well. The files for the version of app store are completely different from that of the other versions because apple requires that all living inside the package app itself for all apps.

  1. go here and download ACR 6.6:

  http://www.Adobe.com/support/downloads/detail.jsp?ftpID=5315

  Once it is downloaded, double-click on the dmg file to mount it. Double-click payloads. You are going to want two things in the folder of the payloads: the plugin and profiles.

  2. open AdobeCameraRawProfile6.0All-(followed by a long string of digits - don't know if they vary depending on the location). This will be the top folder, if you are in list view. Open the .dmg in there:

  

  and drag the Profiles folder on the desktop to copy.

  (3. now go back to the contents of the folder payloads and do the same thing for the CameraRawforElements6.4All - followed by a long string of digits). Yet once, double-click the .dmg in this file, and in the rise .dmg go active > universal > and drag cameraraw.plugin to the desktop. You can now eject all dmg files that you opened.

  So now you have the plugin file and the profiles folder. Those are the two elements that you will need.

  4. now right click on the real editor of PSE in your Applications folder, and choose show package content > content > Plug-ins > File Formats and replace the camera raw.plugin it with new version (remove the old one and put in a safe place in case that does not work). Resources, replace the camera profiles folder and the folder of lens profiles with those of the profiles you folder removed the .dmg file.

  I hope it should work, but I do not know if something else will need to be replaced. I do not have a copy of the version of PSE app store 10 try this, so let me know if that's all that is needed.

  I went through your logs and it seems that there is a problem with Mac. It does not install the hotfix files.

  Please follow the steps below to ensure that your updates work very well: -.

  (1) Please check if there is a file not a folder by name Adobe in/applications/applications .

  (2) delete the file if it exists.

  (3) restart your Mac

  (4) launch PS

  5) go to help - Updates - preferences and make sure that the ACR is checked.

  (6) check for Updates

  (7) update to Camera Raw 6.3 select, click Update

  (8) mac will ask you to enter your password for the connected account. Enter the password. (Make sure you have all privileges)

  (9) leave PS and let the update.

  (10) leaves Updater after a successful installation

  (11) check ACR

  ACR update should work correctly now, if it still does not work, we can configure a logon session to analyze the issue on your machine.

• CS5 updates after reinstall

  Just had 10 Windows reinstalled on my PC so had to reinstall CS5. A ran the updates, but he did not finish them because it requires Adobe Bridge be closed, but it is NOT open! Looked at the Task Manager and confirmed, it does not work. How should I proceed? Very frustrating!
