  Download Camera Raw 8.7 update fails in Photoshop CS6. I read a post from someone with the same problem who said that he was told to uninstall/reinstall Photoshop.   OK, to account. I needed to update my Windows 7 Photoshop ACR to 8.7, so I went the same link I gave you.

  I usually keep Firefox and Chrome browsers. I put my download location in the preferences of browser on 'Office '.

  Then I went to this link and click on the zip file. I chose 'Save' instead of 'open with '.

  The zip file is now on my desk, I can see it.

  I double-click it to unzip it (I use Winrar 5.11) I then get the .exe installer.

  I close all my programs, run the installer and enter my admin password when asked. He simply settled with a single click.

  When I finished, I open the bridge, go to preferences Raw camera to see I have 8,7 I.

  Reinstalled first elements, used help, look for the updates.  Camera Raw 6.7 was installed by the update process.  That's how I discovered I'm good.

  Very well. The files for the version of app store are completely different from that of the other versions because apple requires that all living inside the package app itself for all apps.

  1. go here and download ACR 6.6:

  Once it is downloaded, double-click on the dmg file to mount it. Double-click payloads. You are going to want two things in the folder of the payloads: the plugin and profiles.

  2. open AdobeCameraRawProfile6.0All-(followed by a long string of digits - don't know if they vary depending on the location). This will be the top folder, if you are in list view. Open the .dmg in there:

  

  and drag the Profiles folder on the desktop to copy.

  (3. now go back to the contents of the folder payloads and do the same thing for the CameraRawforElements6.4All - followed by a long string of digits). Yet once, double-click the .dmg in this file, and in the rise .dmg go active > universal > and drag cameraraw.plugin to the desktop. You can now eject all dmg files that you opened.

  So now you have the plugin file and the profiles folder. Those are the two elements that you will need.

  4. now right click on the real editor of PSE in your Applications folder, and choose show package content > content > Plug-ins > File Formats and replace the camera raw.plugin it with new version (remove the old one and put in a safe place in case that does not work). Resources, replace the camera profiles folder and the folder of lens profiles with those of the profiles you folder removed the .dmg file.

  I hope it should work, but I do not know if something else will need to be replaced. I do not have a copy of the version of PSE app store 10 try this, so let me know if that's all that is needed.

  I am running PS 6.0 (13.0.1). Downloaded CR 8.2 and DNG Converter and installed, still all plugin and lists information system CR 8.1. When I select update, the list that is displayed has a box checked for PS CR as current 7.2 despite having restarted the computer. Any advice?

  I closed PS, Download Manager application from the link proposed, rebooted the computer, the PS started, clicked on help/updates and he has always shown CR 7? #?! the current version, but I put a check mark in this box and it is finally updated to 8.2. Had to repeat for Indd. It is a frustrating problem in Adobe.

  I run a MacPro of 2010 and a MacBookpro 2008. Creative Suite Design premium installed on both systems.

  Photoshop 12.0.2 upgrade 12.0.4 fine and Camera Raw plug in updated to 6.3 to 6.4 on the MacBookPro - no problem.

  On the MacPro, Photoshop upgrade 12.0.2 12.0.4 fine, but the Camera Raw plug in update fails indicating something like "A ΘtΘ supprimΘ wrong" I don't know why that is.

  So to try and avoid a reinstallation on the MacPro I thought I was going to just copy the sheet of ACR in the MacBookPro to the MacPro. It works very well. But I still have the ACR update should update alert. If I run the update, I always get the message "incorrectly deleted. I can't find only an installer of RTAs, fair updaters.

  Is there something else, then the ACR record involved with ACR?

  Is there a way to install cab without a full app reinstall?

  I'll probably break down and reinstall... but I'm curious to know why install just the (known) good plug in does not have A) remove control of the update and B) always causes Setup error.

  copy the bias of a good plugin raw 6.4 camera did not set your problems because of the way the update mechanism works.

  When an update is applied it first restores your plugin to 6.0 via a binary diff, then applies new changes from 6.4 in the file to bring it in the version.

  the installation program is under the impression that you still have version 6.3. So when he tries to return to your plugin in the State of 6.0, he can do and the installation fails.

I restarted the computer and Photoshop, but the plug is not upgraded (it always saves version 7) and, therefore, will not open my NEF D7100 files. Any help you offer is much appreciated!

  Camera Raw 9.3 does not retain the settings a user default Camera Raw for Sony raw files.  Instead, he returned to the default settings of Adobe.   My apologies for the bug. A fix will be available in the next version of Camera Raw. I can't reveal the time of release other than to say that it will be quite fast.

  In the meantime, you can run the 9.1.1 installer on the next page to restore your installation while you wait for the fix.

• Download problems and Adobe Camera RAW update

  I'm at the end of my rope here. I tried to download and update my Adobe Camera RAW software, so it can read the RAW of Nikon D750 files but the download of this has been a nightmare.

  First of all, download speed, excruciatingly slow. This isn't a problem with my network I checked the speed I was getting is 1 Mbit/s for all other downloads, but for some reason that the download speed for the update is around the 15 and 16 Kbps. I tried to download through the application manager and directly via the Web site.

  Secondly, in the case of the application manager, after 5-6 hours of excruciating download, during the night it showed an error message from the application manager was still on (when I tried to update the camera raw through my photoshop cs6, there was also an option for updating the application manager, I tried to uncheck the option (, but it does not really) and could not be updated, and the whole thing closes. Worse still, once I try again, it starts from zero, then no progress haven't saved!

  
  Then I tried directly via the Web site to download the camera raw 9.1.1 for mac Adobe. Again, slow download speed and it maintains have expired. I make several attempts to reboot and finally facing the same issue, all the progress of downloading are lost, and I have to start from scratch.

  I write this, I'm trying again through the application manager. There is no way to download the plugin just separately to read the NAVE of Nikon D750 file format?

  After the reinstallation of Windows 7, then put it back via CS6 download, Photoshop will read old raw images from the camera, but no new images recently not downloaded from my Canon EOS 6 d, even if I had been able to open these in bridge before Windows 7 faiiled. Any suggestions? I tried to download the format DNG 7.3 plugin, but that did not help.
