Re: Connect external monitor for Satellite Pro

Hello

I tried to connect my TV to my laptop Satellite Pro using an HDMI cable and a HDMI VGA cable. I did the key function and 5 but the TV always displays no signal, I checked the plug HDMI plugs into TV (3 of them) with my Virgin media TV box and they all work as expected, any help would be appreciated, does my nut with respect.

Updated drivers and tried ATI tool without result, actually when I plug the HDMI into the laptop it doesn't recognize it, but it will be visible in the ATI software but still no signal.

Any info appreciated

Hello

If yo9ur laptop is preinstalled with the original operating system that you have received from Toshiba and if you use high quality HDMI Cable t should work.

I put t know how it works on your TV, but if you use the HDMI 1 port number please allow this TV port and when this port is enabled using FN + F5 key combination to witch from laptop to TV.
When you use FN + F5 you see several options here? Something like LCD, LCD + HDMI or HDMI only.

I was wondering if there is another way to connect the 2 monitors (including one with VGA and HDMI) and other (VGA and DVI) for laptop for the screen area of extended work, other than the use of a Dynadock? Thank you

No, all I know is not possible.

You can use the VGA or HDMI output port video. But it is not possible to use the two video ports simultaneously.

In this case you need some kind of external solution like Dynadock U3

    Hello

I'm looking for an external monitor for my rMBP mid-2014 13 "resembling a Retina display (I'm only looking for quality of retina monitors). Not extremely concerned about 4K because my Mac cannot run most 4K poster but of course wouldn't mind it if it can work properly. Hello ElEmirati,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I see that you are in the market for some external displays.  Your MacBook Pro (retina, 13 inches, mi 2014) can support the following resolution on an external monitor:

    • Dual display and copy video: support simultaneous native resolution on the built-in display and up to 2560 x 1600 pixels on up to two external displays, both at millions of colors

MacBook Pro (13 inch, mid-2014 of the retina) - technical specifications

    Take care.

  • Impossible to get good resolution on external monitor for laptop

Monitor is Samsung SC750_S24C750P connected with VGA cable (laptop doesn't have a HDMI output)

I reinstalled the drivers for the graphics card; current driver is 8.15.10.2302 of 11/02/2011

I reinstalled the drivers for the monitor; current driver is 1.0.0.0 11 13, 2012

Monitor is currently appearing as "HDMI" in the Device Manager; I have chosen "Analogue" and had the same results. Now & then I see "Generic PnP monitor" in the Device Manager. whenever I see it I uninstall it.

Bottom line is this: settings keep bouncing everywhere. On rare occasions, I saw the picture I want on the external monitor; When I close the lid on my computer (that's why I bought the external monitor - so I can get a bigger picture, not two), the resolution is 1024 x 768. When I disconnect the external monitor, I get the correct image and ratio 16:9 (1366 x 768) on my laptop screen. When I connect the external monitor I have two choices for the resolution: 800 x 600 or 1024 x 768.

I went to the Intel graphics properties tool and set a resolution to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz - 32 bit - proposed by Samsung for their monitor. Result 7 choices of resolution, no '' recommended '' and the higher tag 1366 x 768. I can live with 1280 x 720; When I choose this resolution or anything higher, the laptop screen is superb, but the image on the external monitor covers 1/4 of the screen - the rest is black. Reset the external monitor doesn't change anything.  Computer restarting does not help. Monitor disconnect/reconnect does not help. I tried this routine dozens of times.

I really need to use the external monitor, and I need the image proportional. Is there a way to do this?

    Hi, thanks for the response.

I saw this on the Intel Web site so I tried mode extended without change.

If I had 1366 x 768 on both screens, I would have been delighted - instead, I had two choices on my external monitor: 4:3, covering the entire screen with a distorted image, or 16:9 which covers about 40% of the screen.

The most likely explanation I can think of is that the external monitor 4:3, I used in the past has left a kind of preference file in my computer which could not be changed, so he kept coming back to 4:3 instead of 16:9. I thought the problem might be the VGA - VGA cable, but this does not explain why I was unable to cover the entire screen on my external monitor with something other than a distorted picture.

Using the past because I was forced to buy a new laptop. As soon as I plugged on the external monitor, everything was perfect.

    Thanks again for your help.

  • Screen bezel for Satellite Pro C850 - 1 M 7 needed

    Hello
Someone at - it helps me find a bezel replacement screen for a Satellite Pro C850 - 1 M 7 please?

eBay gives just generic and I can't find anything on this site or the other.
    Thank you very much
    :)

Laptop parts are not available for sale. No laptop manufacturers etc. Toshiba page you will not find anything.
Or, you can try to order by a Toshiba service provider or some independent stores. Usually the Googling around you should be able to find it for Satellite Pro or maybe some Satellite C850. The parts must be the same.

I don't know where you want to live, and it is not easy to help looking for a direct link to order.

  • Updated BIOS for Satellite Pro U200?

    Hello

does anyone have any experience with BIOS version 1.3 for Satellite Pro U200? I've upgraded to this version of the BIOS and have had several problems since then - shortened wireless keyboard does not and display the overflowing of installation brightness to name two.

In addition, as I noticed last week, upgrading the BIOS can not be downloaded more and there is no alternative - just says download page don't: "no BIOS upgrade for this product! Is there anyone that has 1.2 BIOS so that I can try to downgrade to this version?

What is your experience with BIOS 1.3?

    Hello

    It s really strange?  :|
I checked the BIOS for Satellite U200 and Satellite Pro U200 download section, but I put t found any BIOS download at this time.

A few years ago the authorized service provider has installed an older version of the BIOS on my Tecra friends unit.
I guess that he should be able to do it on your Satellite Pro U200.
The other possibility is to wait for a newer version of the BIOS.

  • Need driver SATA XP for Satellite Pro L300

    Hello

    I have a Satellite Pro L300 Vista.
If I have problems of major incompatibility with Vista I can swap the readers so I want to set up a second hard drive running on XP Pro.

When I try to set up the XP he sees not the SATA hard drive. I know that it's because XP does not contain the SATA drivers. Couple of questions

    (1) I saw a comment that recommendsto change the BIOS for SATA setting to "Compatibility" and this should work. I tried this but did not find it worked - everyone find it works?

    (2) where can I find the XP SATA driver? I crossed the XP drivers for Satellite Pro L300 Toshiba's web site, but could not see any SATA driver.

    Thank you

    Hello

    As to the question;

    (1) some notebook models containing this function in the BIOS and some don t BIOS that SATA option. If the BIOS has this option, you should be able to put AHCI Compatible mode. Then a SATA driver won't be necessary but also your SATA function would be disabled and HARD drive might work more slowly. So I recommend to set to AHCI, and then reinstall the SATA driver.

    (2) the SATA driver is part of the Intel Matrix Storage Manger. You can include the SATA drivers using nLite software. The necessary files of the SATA driver can be downloaded from Intel here page:

  • Official release of the drivers XP and Vista for Satellite Pro P100 - 465 PSPAEE

When will it be available for XP and Vista for the PSPAEE drivers? Currently there are drivers for the PSPA4E, some of whom work, others do not, no operating system. Yes the laptop is preinstalled with the Vista Upgrade and pilots work, but two of the pilot applications are blocked by Defender (NDSTRay / ConfigFree and VolControl). I couldn't get no option to allow to these (not yet classified MS so they are locked) told me to disable Defender technical support!
I tried a clean install of my own version of Vista business and had problems of drivers with that as well.

I would like to run XP until Vista is, shall we say, more effective I would use drivers specifically for her, so time would be very useful.

I would also like to know why there is a where a finger scanner could go under the 0 on the keypad, and a blocked stop lower PCMCIA port (PCI-E?) when any of these are available as an upgrade option? I missed these upgrade options or is it a case of recycled from another model, they exist? If the latter then it is quite cheap for a new machine :)

    Hello

We have all the users here can suggest only it seems that Vista and XP drivers are already available for Satellite Pro P100 PSPA4E
So in my opinion the next drivers for the next series should follow in the near future

I don t see it differently as to wait

Of course, you can test different drivers from different series as Sat P100.
Many laptop models use the same devices and therefore different unique pilots could be compatible
