  I'm new to this so please be gentle with me! -J' have a Toshiba Satellite L350-170 (Windows Vista SP2). I burned the recovery DVD 2 right after that I got back. I decided to get it back to factory settings, so I put the first recovery disc in the drive and... nothing. It will not automatically play/start to start the recovery process. I can access the files on the drive through "MY COMPUTER" but you can see a 'set-up '. I had already used the discs to recover and it worked then no problem.

  There is nothing wrong with the computer or the error messages

  Start your laptop and press F12 repeatedly to enter the boot menu
  Insert disk 1 into the optical disc drive
  In the list, choose the CD/DVD drive and press ENTER

  ODD must start to read the disc and you should see something on the screen.

  I play world of warcraft online game, I think that my laptop is good enough to run it, but I get little FPS (Frames Per Second) I do belive Vista drains your computer and is no friendly case like performance than XP. I have Vista Home Premium, I was trolling internet reading how to etc... Some forums said that some manufacturers of computer/laptop can provide a Vista 2 XP disks. I was wondering does toshiba? If this is not the case, how it would be difficult to downgrade from Vista?
