  Hi all

  I try to write write a VI that generates a pure sound of specific frequency and volume, and then sends this tone to a speaker or other (left or right) to be used to teach students about Audiology (hearing these tests may have taken where you hear a noise in one ear or the other).  I created a rather primitive VI to accomplish this, but I am plagued with a number of questions:

  (1) certain frequencies, but not all, the VI produces a rattling at the start and stop of the tone (I think this is related to repeat the configuration and the appeal of the material, but I do not know how to configure it in advance and avoid it - and why he created the clicking sound at all frequencies?).

  (2) at certain frequencies (14000 Hz and more), I do not hear the tone at all on my computer speakers (I still hear the click before and after, but I do not hear the tone.) I know what you might think, but no, this isn't a hearing loss from me :-)

  (3) I would like to be able to direct the tone selectively to the left or right speaker, but at the moment my VI only allows me to choose the 'number of channels' (who I presume "2ch" means left and right), but I don't know how selectively choose only one channel or another.

  I put together a quick test and dirty without a ramp up and down (good thing for a State MC) as well as the name is not correct but my children are waiting... time for weekend

  I set the buffer to a quarter second, but however the "GUI" is not very sensitive...

  My design in Muse has a standard width, but when I saw in my browser, the page seems to be wider than my browser is, although there is no information.

  Can you give the link to your site?   Since you said that the width of the page that you used is 960 (the width of page default min), I think there may be a small rectangle frame or empty text somewhere in your muse site that makes them increase the width of the page.

  Can you please check for this.

• How to pass the selections of muse (by selecting the item in the back)

  Is there a way to esay to make your selections in the muse? Sometimes, when I'm working with an element on the front of another element, for example text ontop of a solid box, I can't choose one that is originally without having to move the text to get to the box. Is there an easy way, or the button that I can use to capture the elements of the back without having to move things so I can get to work?

  You can use Ctrl + click (Windows) and Cmd + click (Mac) to scroll through the selection of objects on the page that are on top of the other.

  Hello...

  I'm stuck on the option buttons in Adobe Muse (latest version).

  I want a button already when selected on the page, so, if someone comes to another page or an external site to this page, one of the options on the option button is selected, rather than their choice select. Its already done for them.

• Impossible to navigate to and select the menu buttons during playback of DVD on TV

  I use DVD Studio Pro 4.2.1 on iMac OS 10.6.8 (using old BONES of FCP 6.0.6).

  I have two DVD players for my TV and a Sony DVP-NS57P-GE GE1105P.

  For the video I created, I have two buttons on the main menu 1, 'Play' and 'Chapters' which goes to menu 2 with my links 7 chapters. This perfect mode DVDSP simulate all the works by clicking on these buttons, but I can not click on these buttons of menu 1 with one of my remotes for DVD player when viewing on TV. Movies usually have a menu with buttons like play, scenes, etc. that I can navigate to with my remote.

  Remote controls work fine, I can use its buttons to move to the previous or next chapter while the video plays and the Sony has a strange menu page of access to the chapters but it would be awkward and should not be necessary. I just want someone to be able to navigate on my menu page 1 and select the link to chapters. Not really concerned about "play" button since someone can click play on the remote control.

  So, I apparently need to change a few settings DVDSP. What I'm missing here? Google it and I tried manual DVDSP, but no luck.

  No function edit posts, so I have to put this in a response, I guess. This layout of the forum is so bad, was so much better several years ago. It's looking like my post does not get a response for a reason, but in the cases where it does, I need to update.

  It seems that I am able to navigate to these buttons, I just couldn't see that because the 'Selected' colors, I put to them do not work. I have all the colors of the selection state set for Normal, selected and active. When I use my DVD in my sell order DVD or mode DVDSP simulate with button style control remotely to this topic, when I browse to the top, bottom, left or right, nothing to change the color of links, so there is no way of knowing when I am on a link (I have 9 on a single page) and you want to select and then press ENTER.

  I've hunted throughout the manual, google, YouTube and cannot find the answer to this problem.

  For my application, I can't use a simple MessagePopup where the user must select the OK button to continue.

  I created a new Panel with just a text message and an OK button to act as a MessagePopup.

  When I call InstallPopup and the box pops up that I have to wait until the user selects OK before continuing as the MessagePopup.

  The popup has no effect on the mouse: it can happen that you have a function that manipulates the cursor before the popup is displayed? A SetWaitCursor (1); would be sufficient.

  In Vista... Zoom must be set to 100% to make the live button text.

  View / Zoom / Custom / 100%

  If you left click the 'A' in the palette tools and click left/drag
  a box in the position where you want the text... the bar of text tools
  should become alive.

  FWIW... the free Picasa software has better options for adding
  text of photos.

  You could remove them from the screen, or do unfocusable or make unmodifiable.  The choice will depend on what you're trying to reach.
