read and view the files as links to network location

Hello

I have a project where I would see a network directory and view any excel files in this directory as downloadable hypertext links. Could someone offer any assistance?

Thank you

Phil

There are two common approaches to this problem.

(1) you can use the web server and. or the mechinisms for authentication and authorization of the BONES.  Would require it normally do not allow the connection "anomyous", but use one of the authentication methods supported by your web server of choice.  Then the web server must be able to tell the operating system that is the user and the operating system can use that against all data of permission on the files and or directories to see if this user is allows to access this file.

(2) you can move the files to a directory outside the web root.  In this case you would not offer links directly to the files themselves.  You would rather links to a delivery of CFML code file.  This code would be see what file is desired from the data in the link.  He realized the extraction of the file with features and the deliver the file with the feature.  This solution allows all authentication and the authorization logic reside in the basis of CFML code rather then rely on other technologies.

    Hello everyone

Have you ever wondered if there was a way to access the files on a memory card in the printer to your computer? Is there. Here's a video that shows how import or view the files on a memory card in the printer of Windows 8 if the printer is connected via USB.

This video shows you how to import and display the files and images in Windows 8 on your computer, when you insert a memory card into your USB connected printer.

I hope that aid video above.

  • Cannot open and view the files on a Vista Home Premium 32-bit networking machine

My laptop running Vista Home 32-bit pre SP2 has been networked with my desktop running XP V2002 Pro SP 3 for a long time.  Until recently, the files were shared back without problem.  After a Windows Update, a few days ago my Vista machine keep gel.  After a diagnosis, I have disabled some startup software Google and McAfee and services programs and did a system restore to March 31 to resolve the problem of gel.   However, I can't restore the capacity on the laptop of Vista file sharing.  This Vista laptop is able to ping the XP machine and see and access the files on the XP machine.  But the XP machine can't Ping the Vista laptop (application expires) and when you click on the list of the Vista laptop for the task force on the XP machine, it gives the error message \\Laptop is not accessible.  You might not have permission to use this network resource.  Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.  The network path was not found. I tried various fixes suggested.  All have failed. (1) turned power off the modem cable & wireless router, restarted and connected the modem and router computers in after the computer restarted. (2) Turned off all 3rd party software and even restarted the laptop Vista in safe mode with network.  Could not even Ping the laptop of Vista on the XP machine or access the notebook icon in the Working Group in MyNetwork places. (3) Made that exception file sharing and printer is selected in the Windows Firewall settings. (4) checking network and sharing Center.  Discovery of the network, file sharing, sharing public folders, & Printer Sharing set on "On".  Sharing still protected by password set to 'Off '. (5) group named network WORKING Group on both machines. (6) the fact that individual records are always set to 'share '. (7) in the properties of wireless network connections, Internet Protocol Version 6 (TCP/IPv6) has been disabled. (8) has a netsh winsock reset on the Vista laptop.   Am I missing something else? This problem would go away if I have upgraded from Vista to Windows 7 on the laptop / Windows 7 can network with a XP Pro machine? Thanks to all those who have ideas on what the problem may be.

    Hello

    1. In Windows Explorer, right-click the file or folder you want to work with.
    2. In the context menu, select properties and then in the Properties dialog box, click the Security tab.

    3. In the name list box, select the user, contact, computer, or group to which you want to display permissions. If the permissions are grayed out, this means that the permissions are inherited from a parent object.

Can you think of recent things you did in WMP which could be the cause? You added another

  • Before displaying PDF documents in the browser, you must start Adobe Reader and accept the end-user Li

Since two or three weeks, whenever we try to open a PDF file, we get the following message:

Before display PDF documents in the browser, you must launch Adobe Reader and accept the end user license agreement, and then quit and relaunch the browser.  There is no link in this post, and I can't find where to launch Adobe Reader to accept this agreement.  I do not understand why we started having problems all of a sudden, but it is extremely frustrating!

    We have a Mac OS X v. 10.7 Safari v. 6.0

    Thank you very much!

If you have installed the Adobe Reader software to the deafult location you will see in your hard drive / Applications folder.

    Try this:

    1. Quit Safari

    2. from Finder > go > go to folder... > type in the path: /Applications/ and click 'Go '.

    3. run "Adobe Reader"

    4. accept the end user license

    5. open a PDF file in Safari.

  • Adobe PDF stands up and says "the file is damaged and cannot be repaired" works great in IE9.

Open an Adobe PDF file on this site: http://www.safehaven.com/ and this specific PDF comes up with the "file is damaged and cannot be repaired: JAN30-EUR/USD bearish reversal Pattern triggers in... - MIG Bank.

It helps if you change the setting 'Always ask' or 'Save file' for the PDF in "tools > Options > Applications" and open the file saved in the Adobe Reader software?

  • Add, change and delete the file "iTunes" on a NAS

I have just said "Apple Support Community" by Apple Support.

The title probably sums up what I'm trying to do. I'm looking for a way to add, change, and delete files on a NAS.

Hardware: MacBook Pro 15, 1 TB of storage, 16 GB memory, OSX El Capitan.

NAS: Qnap TS - 453 has: storage nominally 16 TB, up to about 5 TB.  4 WD 4TB disks in a RAID 5 configuration.

a Vaio WIN10 as well as a smaller MacBook (my wife)

The purpose of the NAS is to provide a backup system for computers and act a server "iTunes."

I acquired the NAS after the death of my WD MyBook live in December 2015 after five years of reading backup and "iTunes" to my computer and the Sonos system.

After two months of 'getting to know you' with the NAS, I finally managed to configure the server "iTunes" and Mirabile Indo-European it works!  I'm just doing the SIN to a back-up for computers.

Now for the question: I am looking for an app (for lack of a better term) that will allow me to add and remove files to and from the NAS "iTunes" folder

My search for a solution so far has indicated that:

    (1) NAS' iTunes folder is not really true Apple iTunes and

    (2) I need something that is DAAP (Digital Audio Access Protocol) friendly, that would allow me to add, change and delete the files.that would allow me to add, edit and delete files.

I'm not looking for something that would synchronize the files iTunes NAS to one of my computers, I am all prepared to do myself if necessary.

If I can't find an application so I use the app 'Brute Force' change my Mac iTunes required records and download again to my NAS.

Why do you need an app to put the files in a folder on the NAS Server?  Make them just above in the Finder.  Maybe I'm missing just your problematic here.  Do you mean add your PEMA files to iTunes? I've never used this file format, but kind of, I would be very surprised if iTunes supported it.

the NAS iTunes folder is not really true Apple iTunes

I don't understand what you're trying to say here.  "Apple iTunes" is an application. Yes, a folder is not an application.

Be warned, we see not few messages from people that use iTunes with a NAS. Often the problems cannot be explained. sometimes just iTunes and NAS disagree togther.
