If you're running Windows (which we don't know), you can try to use this tool first remove all traces of your computer:

Then you can download the complete player offline installer from

    Hello

    1. is the slow computer after windows update?

2 Alternatively, installing the slow windows updates?

3 did you changes to the computer before the show?

Windows Update speed is dependent on the configuration computer i. e. What is the computer and also on the Internet.

    See the following article:

    Important notes:

Running chkdsk on the drive if bad sectors are found on the disk hard when chkdsk attempts to repair this area if all available on which data can be lost.

The data files that are infected must be cleaned only by removing the file completely, which means that there is a risk of data loss.

  • Poor quality PDF problem revisited.

A week or two ago I posted a problem I had with the PDF text of very poor quality (on screen) Although the print settings high quality with built-in fonts. I am running Windows 7 Professional, producing the document in Corel draw X 3, and Acrobat X 10.1.0.

I have not solved this problem, but I continued the development of the document. At one point I got a PDF output for purposes of evidence and I found that fonts look sharp and as I expect. Then I loaded the previous document with fonts of poor quality for the purposes of comparison. The old document now also went well! I checked in Acrobat and the two documents was incorporated Callibri police. However the next time that I produced a pdf file of the quality of the police was bad again. I copied the two PDF files to a memory stick and checked on several other computers running Acrobat reader. They all went well. I then printed the PDF currently running on the computer with a low resolution and it printed with very large fonts. I've experimented with different levels of zoom and the fonts look poor little matter I do.

It seems that poor policies are specific to the computer on which I run Acrobat pro and also appears that this problem is intermittent. I looked through various settings in Acrobat pro that can affect the appearance of the font, but I was not able to identify the source of the problem.

    Any suggestions?

    Thank you

    Murray

You probably need to go to the preferences and turn on anti-aliasing in the display preferences. This provides a better representation of images and fonts on a LCD (which most are today).

Converted Word files show only the scanned image and I can't find any way to find and adjust the OCR settings or the tool Export drive resident or online, as explained here:

I have to have a standard Acrobat subscription for this and, if so, does include export to PDF? Thanks in advance.

  • Acrobat Reader DC on PC Windows 10 - bar of Menu font size too small

I recently installed Acrobat Reader DC on multiple windows 10 PCs and the font size of menu bar (File_Edit_View_Window_Help) is very low, especially for those with eyes 'old '. I am unable to find a way to change the font size for a easy display and work - is it even an option more?

    Hi crfugitt ,

Try to navigate to Edit > preferences > categories select 'Général' and for the option "Touch Mode" select "Always" from the menu drop down. Also the option "No scaling" of the grid of the screen resolution option.

Click OK, and then restart Acrobat Reader.

  • Acrobat Reader version 10

    Hello-

My computer crashed and I'm trying to reinstall the version 10 of Adobe Acrobat Reader.  I downloaded and installed the new version and I really don't like it.  When I try to install version 10 - I get a message that my serial number is incorrect.  I take the serial number directly at the exit of the Adobe website where I purchased the product some time ago.  The serial number is listed in my 'story '.

    Help, please.

    Kbfnsd

The Acrobat 8 download page offers the download in English, French and German (which is JUST a SETUP for these three languages). You're not the first to hurt read that and assume that means that the French, but not what it means. But... why you download 8 If you have 10? Do you mean that you have a paid upgrade to 10? With two serial numbers? If so

    * Do not download 8

    * Download 10

    * Having the TWO serial numbers ready (8 and 10), as YOU BOTH. Use the series of 10 first, then when asked, for "qualified" of the series, use the serial number to 8.

There is a lot of uncertainty, because you talked first Acrobat READER 10, which is free, and not an 8 update. If you mean that you have Acrobat Pro 10 or Acrobat Standard 10, follow the instructions that comes from giving.

And in the interest of keeping and archive your installers? Certainly, there is no old software will be around download forever.

I am a new mac user and tries to install Acrobat Reader DC. When I open the file install a small window pushes me, "install Adobe Acrobat Reader DC wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this. "I hit my Adobe ID and password and it does not work, nor do any other combinations my user name and password. How can I get beyond this stage?

It's your Mac, not Adobe, asking your password (that you need to enter the first time you turned on your Mac).

  • How to receive email notifications on new patches for Adobe Acrobat Reader products?

How to receive email notifications on new patches for Adobe Acrobat Reader products?

    Hello

You cannot change the preferences of update for Adobe Acrobat Reader DC. As soon as there is an update, you will be automatically notified once its installed.

    Update Adobe Acrobat DC parameters

Updates are provided through two options:

    • Install updates automatically (recommended): Acrobat Reader DC and DC Acrobat checks regularly for important updates, downloads them and installs them automatically. When you are finished, you are alerted via a message in the system tray that your software has been updated. This method is recommended because it requires no intervention by the end user. It's the best way to keep the DC of Acrobat Reader and Acrobat DC more secure and up to date.
    • Manually check and install updates: Acrobat Reader DC and DC Acrobat do not check for updates. Instead, the end user selects Check for Updates. This option is less secure and only recommended in organizations that use other methods of deployment of updates to their systems

    Kind regards
    Nicos
