Recovery of Windows Vista Premium with no installation CD

I had to reinstall completely portable my son after a number of virus caused his laptop Toshiba to failure, but the question I have is the fact that I don't have a installation CD any recovery or windows.

Vista recovery media obtain and/or use the Partition Recovery Vista on your computer to the factory settings .

There is no Vista free download legal available.

Contact your computer manufacturer and ask them to send a recovery disk/s Vista set.

Normally, they do this for a cost of $ small.

In addition, ask them if you have a recovery Partition on your computer/laptop to restore it to factory settings.

See if a manual provided with the computer or go to the manufacturer's website, email or you can call for information on how to make a recovery.

Normally, you have to press F10 or F11 at startup to start the recovery process...

Another way I've seen on some models is press F8 and go to a list of startup options, and launch a recovery of standards of plant with it, by selecting the repair option.

Also ask them if it is possible to do the recovery disk/s for the recovery Partition in case of a system Crash or hard drive failure.

They will tell you how to do this.

Every computer manufacturer has their own way of making recovery disk/s.

Or borrow a good Microsoft Vista DVD (not Dell, HP, etc).
A good Vista DVD contains all versions of Vista.
The product key determines which version of Vista is installed.

There are 2 disks of Vista: one for 32-bit operating system, and one for 64-bit operating system.

If install a cleaning is required with a good DVD of Vista (not HP, Dell recovery disks):

Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu

  • Get rid of the error flash ocx with Windows Vista Premium

How can I get rid of a "Flash ocx" error on my system? I run Windows Vista premium.

    THX,

    Joel

    Hello

Where do you find that flash ocx error?

Method 1 : uninstall and reinstall the Flash Player and check if the problem occurs.

Method 2 : run the clean boot and see if the problem still occurs.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows XP, Vista or Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

Note: Follow step 7 to reset the computer to start as usual after the boot process.

    Hope that helps.

I have to rebuild my laptop.

    Hello

No - what are the two Acers come with a recovery disk?

If this is not the case, one of them would have a recovery partion, which specifically is to reinstall the operating system on it.

With an Acer, you press Alt + F10 at startup to start the recovery process.

All data are lost when you do the above.

And for the lost disc, contact Acer and ask them to send you recovery disks.

They do that for a small fee:

    http://us-store.Acer.com/RCD/

Some manufacturers have more available Vista recovery disks.

If this happens, you may need to try this instead:

You can also borrow and use a Microsoft Vista DVD, which contains the files for the different editions of Vista (Home Basic, Home Premium, Business and Ultimate) must be installed. The product key on your computer / Laptop box determines what Edition is installed.

Other manufacturers recovery DVDs are should not be used for this purpose.

And you need to know the version of 'bit' for Vista, as 32-bit and 64-bit editions come on different DVDs

Sorry for the eve of Christmas, but there is no legal or free vista doesn't download only internet pirated versions that you would not want t for a gift

I suggest that you contact acer and ask them to send you a set of disks of replacement for recovery of the acer link below but it will take time

But if you can borrow a microsoft dvd vista not acer hewlett-packard or the like discs of recovery of a friend or relative you might try to install vista in this way using your product outside of the laptop case key to install the family version correct vista premium of the dvd, and then go to acer and get the right drivers for your computer laptop model number

I have a 32-bit version of Windows Vista business with service pack 1... How he move to Windows7?

    How to upgrade:

    If you have Vista:

    Update: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-vista-to-windows-7

    Custom installation: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/help/upgrading-from-windows-vista-to-windows-7-custom

If you are running Windows Vista , in some cases you can proceed directly to Windows 7, and in other cases, you must perform a custom installation. The following table shows what editions of Windows Vista can be upgraded to Windows 7.

    Windows Vista Home Basic

Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Ultimate

    Windows Vista Edition Home Premium

Windows 7 Home Premium, Windows 7 Ultimate

    Windows Vista Business

Windows 7 Professional, Windows 7 Ultimate

    Windows Vista Ultimate Edition

    Windows 7 Ultimate

For more information, see upgrading from Windows Vista to Windows 7 . (http://windows.microsoft.com/upgrade-windows-vista )
You can't go from 32 bit to 64 bit, a clean install is required. If you have any questions about the upgrade from 32 bit to 64 bit or vice versa, please see this FAQ: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/32-bit-and-64-bit-Windows-frequently-asked-questions

    Installation - 'upgrade' means what?
Upgrade means that you can install Windows 7 simply by inserting the Windows 7 upgrade software in the DVD drive of your PC and follow the instructions on the screen. While you are not required to backup and reinstall your files, or reinstall your programs, it is a very good idea to back up your files and settings before you start any upgrade to the software. Get more information on the software updates and best practices .

Installation - what does "Custom (Clean)" Mean?
A custom (clean) installation clears the contents of the hard drive of your PC. Your files, settings, and programs will not be transferred to Windows 7. This means that to install Windows 7, you must:

    • Back up any files and settings you want to keep

    • Install Windows 7

    • Reinstall all your files

    • Reinstall all the programs you want to use.

These four steps take time, skills, techniques and Windows Easy Transfer can help. However, if you are not comfortable with this process, please consider having the installation carried out by a local service provider.

  • Can I save on all windows vista premium updates that failed?

I am using windows Vista Premium, as mentioned above, and I have updates that have failed up to two years.  I started with 'SP1' and I migrated to "SP2" despite the large number of updates failed.

I also have a large number of chess updates for Office 2007 and a few others.  I should probably mention that my original Vista Acer drive has been moved (probably lost).  I'm operating a valid OS despite self made. and manuals windows license verification work.  In the end, it seems that these updates failed eventually cause problems.
Translate... Can I just start their withdrawal in reverse order?
Please advise, I'm at whits end!

Means failed, that updates have not been installed; so there is nothing to remove.

  • Lenovo SL500 Windows Vista crashed with STOP: 0x0000007B (0x80599BB0, 0xC0000034, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) error and won't start.

Original title: Lenovo SL500 Windows Vista crashed with STOP error message and won't start

    Hello peoples,
I just installed an iMicro Bluetooth adapter on my computer, and then I wanted to restart my computer. When I turned it on, loading like regular until right after the Vista loading screen, when the Blue Screen of Death (a blue screen with an error on this subject) flashed for about 1/2 second and then restarted my computer. Then he asked me if I wanted to load startup repair or simply start WIndows normally and I chose to start WIndows normally, but it's the same thing, so when the computer is restarted again, I chose the Startup Repair. He said that if I inserted an external device in my computer for me to remove it. But I had no external devices in my computer at the same time! I already pulled the iMicro adapter! So when my computer restarted again, I pressed the button Lenovo Care and charge of Lenovo Rescue and Recovery 4. (This is where I am now, typing away in the Opera browser.) I tried to find help, but could not find anythign useful so far. I installed for many drivers, updates, patches, etc. But none have anything to remove the blue screen of death. Now, after 7 hours, I really frustrated, and this is my last hope! (I don't want to save my hard drive and reinstall, because I paid more than 250 applications and more than 270 free programs on my computer! Of more, more than 350 iPad apps, of which a few are paid! Oh and 700 iBooks!)
Help, please! I'm really desperate right now, and any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks in advance!

PS I run Windows Vista Home Basic SP2 (I think) on a Lenovo ThinkPad SL500 (NOT SL500c!)

PPS Lenovo all computers have this Lenovo Rescue Recovery 4, which is like an operating system of its own. It has a browser that you can install updates and other things. Right now I use Rescue and Recovery. Thanks again in advance and please answer my question! I had this problem for a week and I'm in school tomorrow! Thanks again!

EDIT: The error message went like this:

A problem has been detected and Windows has shut down to prevent damage to your computer.

If this is the first time you've seen this Stop error screen, restart your computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:

Check for viruses on your computer. Remove the hard drives newly installed on the hard disk controllers. Check your hard drive to ensure that it is configured and completed proeprly. Run CHKDSK /F to check for hard drive corruption, and then restart your computer.

    Technical information:

    STOP: 0X0000007B (0X80599BB0, 0XC0000034, 0X00000000, 0X00000000)

    Thanks for the billionth time!

have you tried diving into the blue tooth to the computer with a usb cable before starting the computer u? Sometimes it works

    Steve

    Let me soce entry details:

    1. all computers need to have at least one administrator account. It will not work without it.
It does NOT, however, create a profile For YOU defaultAdmin. It belongs to the user or the owner to create and decide who is Admin, and who is a regular user.
    2. even an admin account will not get to install and change the settings automatically. UAC (user account control) always appears to ask for confirmation of the task by clicking on continue, or by typing the admin password.
3 be the main user is not to be an administrator. It is up to the user/owner of the computer to be configured as such.
That said, now my question... How do you know that you're not an admin?
