  We have using 3 different printers MF in our office. All printers are connected to the local network (1 PC via an integrated NIC, 2 pcs through Trendnet print servers)

  Each connection for scanners, windows displays the window "To initiate the new scan" and asking to select the corresponding program to this action. The choice is between MS office word and Microsoft scanner and camera wizard. After disconnection of the scanner and connecting again, "to initiate the new scan" window appears again, same "Always use this program for this action" checkboks have been checked several times for each scanner before. I guess, that he just don't remember the choices for temporary connections network analyzers.

  The question is, how I can definitely choose "Microsoft scanner and Camera Wizard" as default for my scanners? I guess I need to make some changes in the registry?

  I'm creating a new editing machine I want to use after effect, photoshop, flash, illustrator and 3ds max. I do a lot of animation 2d and 3d, video editing and graphic design.

  It is the system that I'm currently planing on building:

  Processor: intel core i7 2600 k (I'll be overclocking it to about 4.8 ghz)

  Motherboard: Asrock p67 extreme6

  Memory: G.Skill ripjaws x series 16 GB ddr3 1600 case latency 7

  Graphics card: Gtx 570

  Power supply: Rosewill bronze series 1000w

  Hard drive: 4 x Corsair F120 in raid 0

  Case: Bitfenix collosus

  CPU cooler: Noctua Nh - d14

  I have a budget of $2500 for this computer. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on things should change / recommend a completely different version for my budget.

  Also, I was wondering if the gtx 570 is a stupid choice and I should get a quadro 2000 instead. I don't do any game.

  One last thing, do 4 ssd in raid 0 helps not at all or should I just get 8 HDD in raid 10 or I should spend less money on hard drives.

  PS I know that the i7 2600 k was recalled but I'm in no hurry to build this computer. Also, feel free to recommend the hardware that has not yet been published, but will probably be in the next 8 months.

  PSS all programs I listed are CS5.

  Join all Todd and some things that I consider:

  Two processors will pack punch rendered, especially in your 3D work.

  Even if the 16 GB of RAM is generous, I would consider more.  Remember the rule: 2 GB for each heart of the processor, as well as some more BONES and other applications.  If you are using 8 cores/threads for rendering, 24GO would be optimal.

  While hard drives give an awesome performance in this config, there are a lot of money to spend on less than a terabyte of storage.  RAID 0 is also quite volatile, so be sure to run a regular and reliable backup system.

  For my money, I'd probably use a SSD a good size for a system drive, then 3 or 4 Classics (or hybrid SSD) drives for storage of media, with a decent RAID controller. You will get 3 times the storage at half price and are still quite zippy I/O speeds.

• Installation of the OS 1950 power edge problem

  I have a 1950 and I'm having a problem installing the operating system the system has a SATA Dell PERC6i SAS RAID controller. I tried all the configurations of this controller, and nothing helps. When I try to install the OS, I get an error that is not hard drives. The two hard drives work OK to the best of my knowledge. The controller board is defective? I bought a new battery for it and I no longer get warning of low battery at startup. I removed the battery from the motherboard to reset the cosmo. I have an another 1950 and one 2950 times would be fine. It drives me crazy.

  ThinkVantage Power Manager has not been supported since Win7. It is reported in the community members apparently makes it work, but it is not sanctioned. There are also discussions on loading of the thresholds through registry changes. Please be careful if you choose to pursue it.

• PCoIP zero client does not display an Horizon view Client user of the window for one (and only one)

  The zero client is a Samsung NC241 via Teradici Tera 2. My user has 3 virtual workstations assigned;  Current SOE with WinXP, a specific COMPUTER WinXP and a test for the upcoming Win7. When I connect the customer to see I'm automatically redirected to the WinXP for HER, without going through the window that lists usually all available virtual PC. This happens on all terminals, I tried. Other users, even if you connect to the same terminal, are given the option to select a virtual PC, even if they have the choice of a!

  I have checked the setting for the PC virtual in the Teradici PCoIP Management Console and also the settings of the user under the Horizon view VMware administrator but cannot find where my configurations user and desktop are different from those that work "correctly".

  Is someone able to propose what I'm looking for?

  I arrived on the solution after you follow through with your suggestion above. I used the client on a Windows PC, then after that record on I clicked on 'Options' in the bar of VMwareView Client session and erased the text is 'auto connect to this office. We have the option 'Enable automatic reconnection' set to false, so I'm not sure why that followed me.

  But the good news is that it worked!

• gradients in 2015 does not allow me to choose the background to the foreground colors

  In cc2015, I can not choose the colors for the gradient tool by simply selecting colors in the foreground / background color picker.  This used to be a defect.  Does anyone have a solution?

• How to make the icon of power available to limited users

  I use a laptop computer that I just upgraded from Vista to XP. I installed XP from scratch and I noticed that the switch for power profiles that doubles as a indicator on if I use electricity or battery disappears when the laptop is plugged.
  This only occurs with a limited account. the two admin accounts have no problem with the icon. I can't change the option "always show the power indicator" in the control panel of a limited account because it is grayed out.

  Is it possible to give this back to everyone in the local group users so that everyone sitting at the console can see it?

  If I need to look for some sort of additional drivers to install from the manufacturer's website, please tell me what to look for (BIOS, chipset, ACPI). I installed only the drivers for things that had a yellow question mark in Device Manager. If there is no yellow question mark, I assumed that the drivers built into Windows XP SP3 were adequate and did not bother to download. They were on the site for a reason, however. Until I have a problem, I have seen no reason to bother.
