Hello
If I understand you want to refresh the tree based on the master-details data. If so, then what happens when you try to code in form (KEY of VALIDATION caled) level trigger?

  • Bug in display of the tree when adding nodes dynamically?

    I am building a tree dynamically, child nodes are added only after a user clicks to open a node, and a call is made to see if there are children.

    The control is very sensitive, but after a few clicks, that it is as if an object of the same color that the background appears in the middle of the control tree obscuring nodes beneath it.

    If I click on the empty area at the location where the darkened nodes would fall meet and expand/collapse becoming visible/invisible as they fall under this area or beyond. If I hover over the empty box I see the node highlighting as a strip about 5 pixels wide on the left side.

    Revalidation of the tree redraws not this area. Has anyone seen this before, and how can I fix it?

    The problem disappeared. I think it was a bug is triggered by setting the selected items after I had updated the dataProvider and refreshing the tree.

    I had another question where the selectedItems disappeared after update of the tree. I fixed it by setting using callLater() selectedItems, because put immediately after the update the dataProvider of the tree did not work as long as the selection was lost anyway. callLater to do this fixed the issue of the selection and now apparently also the issue with a section of the tree being overshadowed.

  • from the opening, does not show the current date, need to manually refresh the page

    initially the opening firefox, it does not reflect the current date. I have to refresh the screen to go to the current date.

    This has happened

    Each time Firefox opened

    is past week or two, cause unknown

    A possible workaround is to use to remove the navigation, search and download history on Firefox to clear the cache of the browser on the output. That will make Firefox load pages from the server instead of using the version in the cache.

  • Extracting data from table without refreshment and without using the tab key.

    Hi friends,

    I have a problem I want to extract data from table without discount in the text field without using the Tab key. When I enter a field value any value then the text corressponding should enter into corressponding textfield without using the Tab key.

    for example. When I get back emp_id 101 in a text field then first_name and last_name, address would come in to the text fields corressponding without refresh and use the Tab key.

    How can I do that.

    Thank you
    Maury

    Hi Maury,

    I guess it's similar to: retrieving data without refreshing rather than Re: value of a textfield should enter into an another textfield without using the TAB ?

    If so, the only change you want to bring on the first is to use the parameter "Onkeyup" instead of "onchange" in the 'HTML Form attributes of the element' element.

    Note, however, that the user must move away from the issue at some point (for example, to click on a button), so the onchange will fire anyway.

  • Query regarding different refreshing data from the grid when returned from a workflow

    Hi Experts,

    JDEV version is: 11.1.1.5

    Our application uses dynamic tabs the user interface shell.

    Whenever the user connects, it is taken in A TAB.

    Since the TAB A, the user navigates to TAB B.

    TAB B has a GRID B(table with a few records).

    Column A on TAB B has a hyperlink which, once clicked on will open a stream of different tasks in a different tab.

    Click on the column of hyperlink for the different lines will open different tf (under certain conditions).

    By clicking on the hyperlink, that the method _launchActivity(String title, String taskflowId, boolean newTab) is used, which the TF open in a new tab.

    The user works on the TF (in a new tab) which opened on click of a hyperlink in the column is and click on SAVE.

    Click to save some operation and removeCurrentTab method is called which will close the current tab, and control passes to the first tab (TAB A).

    The problem:

    Once the user tries to click or to return to the TAB B the WHAT GRID B is never updated that we cannot get the descriptor to refresh the data in the grid.

    Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Thank you

    Jean Claude

    huh, I thought it was another library in question.

    In all cases, you can use contextual event (when you close the current tab).

    The second option is to navigate to the method executeQuery by code call activities:

  • Average displacement Subvi does not refresh the data in time real host VI

    Hello!

    I time real host VI that has evaluate the NI 9215 cRIO block data 9073. He takes analog data and calculates the phase shift. It works well with the connected equipment and displays the results. I need to get the moving average value of phase shift, so I add moving average Subvi, where main VI entries - new value (phase shift measured) and ms and output - average value of travel time. When I run real time host VI it gives me a single data and stop get new data from Subvi. It refreshes not even values measured in real time. So the problem somewhere in the accommodation, with sub - VI. How it can be solved? How can I get real host VI with the moving average value of Subvi update running time?

    Thank you.

    Your problem is that you have a loop that runs until you press the Stop button inside your Subvi.  If you try to use a Global Variable that is functional, you have a few things wrong.

    1. the loop should run only once.  A TRUE to the conditional stay Terminal wire.

    2. the shift register cannot be initialized.  That is how he can keep the old elements in a story.  Use a first call? with a case structure so that you only initialize the table of history inside the loop on the first time the VI is called.

    But if you really want to make your life easier, just use the PtByPt.vi mean.  NOR did all the work for you.

  • Modal region of the tree as a popup... After clicking the value in the tree... How to avoid the parent page is refreshing

    Hi, I spent long hours to solve this problem and wait for the answer from the expert.

    I created a form with text boxes and one of them, I created just small image button to call the modal region of the tree.

    Everything is OK, tree appear and disappear after the passage of the code value for the text element in the parent form.

    But it refreshed and initialized all other areas of empty text as well... ^ ^;

    I think that, because of the link in SQL tree. Someone help me?

    Select case when connect_by_isleaf = 1 then 0

    When level = 1 then 1

    else                           -1

    end the status,

    level,

    "CAT_NM" as the title,

    NULL as an icon,

    "CAT_CD" as a value.

    NULL as ToolTip,

    ? p = & APP_ID.:112 :'|| : APP_SESSION |': P112_CAT_CD :'|| "' CAT_CD ' as link-> How to avoid refreshing the page parent and just switch the CAT_CD to the called page?

    'category '.

    Start with 'PARENT_CAT_CD' is null

    connect prior "CAT_CD" = "PARENT_CAT_CD."

    siblings arrested by "CAT_CD".

    Hey "zoomok,"

    Large - an example would have been my next request in any case I took a glance and changed your demo page to work as you want.

    Things of note:

    -SQL source tree: NO link value! A link value will generate apex code that will redirect you to the link. It will always be a redirect page, where a rerender page, and not what you want! Leaving NULL allows us to interact with the tree interactively via javascript

    -Code in variables and functions global page - javascript - next:

    function treeOnload(){
      var l$Tree = $("#tree_modal div.tree"); // get the tree instance
      // handle the onselect event of the tree
      $.tree.reference(l$Tree).settings.callback.onselect = function(NODE, TREE_OBJ){
        $s( "P112_CAT_CD", $(NODE).attr('id') ); // get the VALUE of the node and put it in item P112_CAT_CD
        closeModal(); // close the active modal region
      };
    };

    -In javascript - dependent section I added a call to this procedure:

    treeOnload(); // initialize the tree with our settings

    And that's all! I didn't know that you use "openModal". There are different ways to implement modal regions, so it is important to know how we do for ourselves what to do with it.

    FYI - you now need to change your credentials. And mark the answer that has helped you or is correct, please.

    Laurent,

    Thanks for the update - to be able to point the finger at something specific to the environment is always useful.  As noted above, the TaskDialog.showDelayedDialog has been rewritten to 4.0.  In addition, 4.0 requires jdk.1.7, so between the two of them maybe behaviour will improve without the need to limit the way in which the o/s assigns tasks to processors.  It is unclear if a particular flavor of the o/s may be more prone to this condition of StackOverflowError, or maybe just 64 - bit o/s in general.

    Anyway, no matter what output 4.0 comes out, at least we are two weeks closer to her now.

    Thank you

    Any ideas/suggestions are very much appreciated

    I explored a similar approach, using the following test case.

    It creates a table "MASTER_TABLE" containing 20,000 lines and a CLOB containing an XML fragment like this:

    09HOLVUF3T6VX5QUN8UBV9BRW3FHRB9JFO4TSV79R6J87QWVGN

    UUL47WDW6C63YIIBOP1X4FEEJ2Z7NCR9BDFHGSLA5YZ5SAH8Y8

    O1BU1EXLBU945HQLLFB3LUO03XPWMHBN8Y7SO8YRCQXRSWKKL4

    ...

    1HT88050QIGOPGUHGS9RKK54YP7W6OOI6NXVM107GM47R5LUNC

    9FJ1JZ615EOUIX6EKBIVOWFDYCPQZM2HBQQ8HDP3ABVJ5N1OJA

    then an intermediate table "MASTER_TABLE_XML" with the same columns with the exception of the CLOB which turns into XMLType and finally a MVIEW:

    SQL > create table master_table like

    2. Select level as id

    3, cast ('ROW' | to_char (Level) as varchar2 (30)) as the name

    4       , (

    5. Select xmlserialize (content

    XMLAGG 6)

  • How can we show the values selected from a tree in a selectmanylistbox

    How can show us the selected values from a tree in a selectmanylistbox?

    Hello

    You can use a reference to an instance of the component RichTree and call getSelectedRowKeys on this subject. The selected rowKey allow you then eye-uo coup nodes in the tree. You can use a custom on the tree selection listener to be informed of each selection. There is also an API for the keys from line deselected, you need to delete nodes to select list much. Select it many list will get its data from a bean managed discovers brought (so values survive subsequent applications)

  • What is the best way to move the data from the app and Server data structures?

    Hi guys,.

    I developed my application locally with Apex 4.2 and Oracle 11 g XE on Windows 7. Not far away, it is time to move the application to a server Oracle Apex. I guess that Exim is the way to go app. But what about the APA tables and data (tables/as 'customer' and 'account' created specially for the application)? I've been using a modeling tool, so I can run a DDL script to create the database server data structures. What is the best way to move the application data on the server? Is it possible to move the structures and data in a single process?

    Thank you
    Kim

    There is probably another way to get here, but in Developer SQL, on the navigation tree, expand objects until your table, right-click, and then click EXPORT... you will see all the options. It is a tedious process and it sucks IMO, but yes, it works. This is zero especially because 1) it's a table at a time, 2) If your data model is robust and has constraints and sequences and triggers, then you will need to disable all for the insert and we hope you can re-enable constraints, etc. without hitch (good luck, unless you have only a handful of tables)

    I prefer to use the oracle EXP command-line to export an entire schema, then the server target, I use IMP to import the schema. In this way, it is almost true. This makes the dirty life if you develop multiple applications in a single schema, and I felt pain - however - it is much easier to drop the tables and other objects is to create them! (thus, even if the process of EXP/IMP moved more than you wanted to "move".. blow everything you don't want on the target after the fact...)

    You can use method datapump oracle too.

    If not, what can be done, IF you have access to both servers of your instance of SQL developer (or if you can tnsping both already from the command line, you can use SQL * MORE), is to run a script that will identify the objects of your applications apex (usually by the prefix for the names of objects, such as % EBA_PROJ_ etc.) and do all the manual work for you. I've created a script that does just that so that I can pass data from dev to prod servers on a dblink. It is difficult because of the order that must be executed to disable constraints and then turn it back on and of course, more complicated if don't always precede you ALL your "objects demand '... (tables, views, triggers, sequences, functions, procs, indexes, etc.)

  • Select the data from collections plsql

    Hi all

    I'm not a developer but working as a DBA, so not very familiar with pl/sql, always crossed with documentation and could lead to a solution of my problem. I need advice from expert here.

    Problem: I am writing in a kind of special program plsql for surveillance of certain lots, I know that we have much option to do the same db/grid control including... etc but for some
    the reason I have to do this, use only plsql.

    Requirement: my requirement is to select data in the plsql table and then have the opportunity to ask questions again and again. I prefer not to go to table, rather than directly from plsql...

    I wrote below the code for the sample, bulk data in collection type collection and can print using the loop.

    Declare
    TS type is table v$ session % rowtype index by pls_integer;
    tsess ts.
    Start
    Select * bulk collect into tsess from v$ session;
    I'm looping 1.tsess.count
    dbms_output.put_line (tsess (i) .terminal);
    end loop;
    end;
    /

    But is it possible same collection (tsess in the example above) can be queried using a select as ' select * from table (Tsess) "I searched the net and found this can be done using create type at the database level.» But my problem is that I can't create any object in the database as being it's a production one.

    I was looking as if is it possible even can be accomplished... as cast / multiset... However, I could not get it through.

    your help would be appreciated!

    Kind regards

    I don't think you should use the tables here, only SQL, take a look at the factors of subquery and will indicate if it is not enough...

    Published by: BrendanP on February 12, 2012 03:07 for an example:

    I understand you want to "Refresh" of data that you already have the database purely to be able to use the SQL such as ORDER BY in multiple ways. Here's how you can do it in the original SQL for a particular example, where you query v$ sql time control processor and disk reads separately (I tested it but the result won't be good look here, so omitting it):

    WITH v AS (
    SELECT
        Substr (sql_text,1,500)             sql_text,
        cpu_time/1000000                    cpu_seconds,
        disk_reads,
        buffer_gets,
        executions,
        CASE WHEN rows_processed != 0 THEN Round( buffer_gets / Nvl (Replace (rows_processed, 0, 1) ,1)) END Buffer_gets_rows_proc,
        Round (buffer_gets / Nvl (Replace (executions, 0, 1), 1)) Buffer_gets_executions,
        elapsed_time / 1000000              elapsed_second,
        module
    FROM v$sql s)
    SELECT
        'CPU'                order_by,
        cpu_seconds          order_val,
        sql_text,
        cpu_seconds,
        disk_reads,
        buffer_gets,
        executions,
        buffer_gets_rows_proc,
        buffer_gets_executions,
        elapsed_second,
        module
    FROM v
     UNION
    SELECT
        'Disk reads',
        disk_reads,
        sql_text,
        cpu_seconds,
        disk_reads,
        buffer_gets,
        executions,
        buffer_gets_rows_proc,
        buffer_gets_executions,

  • Convert data in hierarchal of hierarchical data for the creation of the tree

    Hi guys,.

    I tried to figure this out for about two days together now and I'm still stuck and I see no possible solution that does not involve a new creation of the table.
    I want to create a tree to navigate through projects and tasks, I use the demo "Task Manager" app, which I customized it a bit to fit my needs.

    Basically, I can't create the tree because the relationship between projects and tasks is not a hierarchical relationship, it's a relationship 1: n like this:

    __Projects__
    ID (PK)
    PROJECT NAME

    ___Tasks___
    ID (PK)
    Project (done FK reference Projects.ID)

    So what I have to do is to "force" this relationship 1: n with a hierarchical relationship by creating a query (view) that links the two tables into one and have 2 columns, I can use as ID and PARENT_ID for the creation of the tree.

    This is the data model:

    CREATE TABLE 'EBA_TASK_PROJECTS '.
    (NUMBER OF 'ID',
    'PROJECT_NAME' VARCHAR2 (255),
    "CREATED_ON" DATE NOT NULL ACTIVATE.
    'CREATED_BY' VARCHAR2 (255) NULL NOT ACTIVATE.
    DATE OF THE "UPDATED_ON"
    "UPDATED_BY' VARCHAR2 (255),
    'FLEX_01' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    'FLEX_02' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    'FLEX_03' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    'FLEX_04' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    'FLEX_05' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    NUMBER OF "PARENT_ID"
    VARCHAR2 (1) 'IS_ACTIVE ',.
    VARCHAR2 (4000) "DESCRIPTION."
    CONSTRAINT CHECK of 'EBA_TASK_PROJECTS_ACTIVE_CC' (in is_active ('Y', 'n')) ENABLE,.
    ENABLE 'EBA_TASK_PROJECTS_PK' CONSTRAINT PRIMARY KEY ('ID')
    ) ; ALTER TABLE 'EBA_TASK_PROJECTS' ADD 'EBA_TASK_PROJECTS_FK' OF CONSTRAINT FOREIGN KEY ('PARENT_ID')
    REFERENCES 'EBA_TASK_PROJECTS' ('ID') ON DELETE CASCADE ACTIVE;

    CREATE TABLE 'EBA_TASK_TASKS '.
    (SELECT 'ID' NUMBER NOT NULL,)
    ACTIVATE THE "PROJECT" NUMBER NOT NULL,
    ACTIVATE THE "TASK_PRIORITY" VARCHAR2 (400) NOT NULL,
    ACTIVATE THE "TASK_DIFFICULTY" VARCHAR2 (400) NOT NULL,
    ACTIVATE THE "TASKNAME" VARCHAR2 (4000) NOT NULL,
    VARCHAR2 (4000) "TASK_DETAILS."
    "CREATED_ON" DATE NOT NULL ACTIVATE.
    DATE 'DONE ',.
    ACTIVATE THE 'CREATED_BY' VARCHAR2 (400) NOT NULL,
    'STATUS' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    DATE OF THE "UPDATED_ON"
    "ON THE ROAD" DATE.
    NUMBER OF "TASK_PREDEFINED_ID."
    "UPDATED_BY' VARCHAR2 (255),
    ACTIVATE THE "USER_NAME" VARCHAR2 (255) NOT NULL,
    'FLEX_01' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    'FLEX_02' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    'FLEX_03' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    'FLEX_04' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    'FLEX_05' VARCHAR2 (4000).
    NUMBER OF "PERCENTAGE."
    ENABLE 'EBA_TASK_TASKS_PK' CONSTRAINT PRIMARY KEY ('ID')
    ) ; ALTER TABLE 'EBA_TASK_TASKS' ADD 'EBA_TASK_TASKS_PROJECTS_FK' OF CONSTRAINT FOREIGN KEY ('PROJECT')
    REFERENCES 'EBA_TASK_PROJECTS' ('ID') ON DELETE CASCADE ACTIVE;

    I use APEX4.0

    It's good enough that this guy, hope you can help me with this. I'm really stuck on this and I'm about to give up.

    Hello

    So what I have to do is to "force" this relationship 1: n with a hierarchical relationship by creating a query (view) that links the two tables into one and have 2 columns, I can use as ID and PARENT_ID for the creation of the tree.

    I'd say you need a UNION rather than a JOIN.
    Something like:

    WITH project_task_view AS (
     SELECT 'P'||to_char(id) as id
          , null as parent_id
          , project_name as node_name
     FROM eba_task_projects
     UNION ALL
     SELECT 'T'||to_char(id)
          , 'P'||to_char(project_id)
          , task_name
     FROM eba_task_tasks
    )
    SELECT id, parent_id, node_name, level
    FROM project_task_view
    START WITH parent_id IS NULL
    CONNECT BY PRIOR id = parent_id
    ;

  • Refresh the page fragment data

    Hi all

    I use JDev 11 g, ADF BC, IE7 and Windows XP.

    My use case:

    I'm designing a screen where it is a workflow that toggles the display of screens suitable for the region. I am not able to update the data of the page fragment at the click of a button. I would like to know if activation helps partially to submit for the same purpose. Or are there other alternatives.

    I need to refresh the whole page with the new selection. How this approach?

    Thanks in advance

    Hello

    If you have added the workflow as a region, then, the region is updated when the property has the value 'ifNeeded' and the value of the 'Refresh' initial settings changed

  • Display data from the database in a table

    Hello

    How to display data from my database in an ADF table using a backing bean? I created an arraylist in the bean, but only the last row of my query is displayed in the table...

    Thank you...

    Hello

    Create a simple Java class that implements Serializable. Create attributes that represent each column in your table. This class represents on the row of your table. A list of these objects, and you can fill your af:table.

    Visit this link below for an example.
