  My requirement is to do a column not used as barcode field, during the seizure of the sales order lines, so that the user enters the bar code. The point corresponding system, description code must do this by default.

  In OM responsibility, go to components-> cross reference, create a new Cross Reference Type of barcode.

  Click the Assign button.  Add an element and in the value column, put your code bar.  For bar codes, leave the 'Applicable to all associations' checked.

  Now go to the screen and control in the field of the ordered item, type the barcode value that you set up.

  Using tools folder on the command line, you can expose 'Internal Article' and 'Type of item identifier' to see that the type is 'Barcode' and it is mapped correctly your internal inventory item.

  Most of the documents will show the ordinate the question - if all your documents will also show the value of code barcode for this command.

• Migration of the customization of the form from one instance to another

  Dear all,

  I have a requirement to form customization in the form of orders. Form problems have already 99 customizations. After entering my new customization, I downloaded the ldt with the following commands:

  FNDLOAD apps / $ Y DOWNLOAD password 0 $FND_TOP/patch/115/import/affrmcus.lct XX_OEXOEORD.ldt FND_FORM_CUSTOM_RULES form_name = OEXOEORD

  I saw all the customizations are downloaed in the ldt, but when I try to download on another instance, it downloads only 5 / 100 customization. Download the command is:

  FNDLOAD apps / $password 0 DOWNLOAD $FND_TOP/patch/115/import/affrmcus.lct XX_OEXOEORD.ldt - WARNING = YES UPLOAD_MODE = REPLACE CUSTOM_MODE = FORCE

  Some random sequences (such as 9, 40, 80, 99 and 100) got downloaded.

  We have applied this hotfix and checked that patch versions are up-to-date, but always after re - download issue persisted.

  Once - new - form - Instance: this trigger is called just after form is called. If you can do what you need to do before the start of the form. Make sure that this trigger is called only when the form is opened.

  WHEN-VALIDATE-RECORD: this trigger is called when the cursor is moved off the current record of the block specified to another record. This trigger can be very useful when trying to insert or update a record under certain costraints. If conditions are true to this trigger and form_trigger_failure will pass under the situation has no validation, recording is not saved. Thus, everything works fine.

  Once - new - Record - Instance: this trigger is called when the cursor passes on a new record in the specified block. This trigger can be useful when it is necessary to set the computed value of an element at the level of each record.

  A time new point Instance: this trigger is called when the subjects in the forms is entered.

  The problem is, you assign a value to an element when the form is opened, so the form will update mode, so the system not allowing you to make the request (f11). If you clear the value that has been missed, you'd be able to F11.

  So instead set the VALUE, try the INITIAL_VALUE property and let me know if this worked for you.

  You can personalization by the user to call another form. However, this approach is to use the Tools menu.

  It seems that you want to change the form that opens when you try to match.

  In this case, try the following.

  My customer wants to customize the invoice form. When you connect with the AP user > bills > invoice entry > bills and click the new button, the following happens when you tab on each field:
  
  Invoice_Date field is mandatory and is by default sysdate so the tabs above. Customer wants mandatory field, but does not field by default sysdate. so if you tab on the Invoice Date field must not be filled with a value automatically. It must be filled with a value once the user enters a value into the field. And currently there is no customization of the active form which would make the default Invoice_Date to sysdate. So I can't that assume it is in the form of standard oracle. Now, I don't want to go play in the standard form. I prefer rather to make a customization of the form.
  
  The Invoice_Num field is mandatory and is by default sysdate so the tabs above. Customer wants mandatory field, but does not want its default to sysdate when the tabs above. The field should only be filled out once that the user enters a value in the field. Yes I know it sounds strange that the invoice_num field can default sysdate but it happens.

  OK, let's solve the problem (s).

  For customization involving the Date of the invoice, enter the following text on the area of the Condition (pay attention to two points)

  : INV_SUM_FOLDER. INVOICE_DATE = trunc (sysdate)

  For the other enter

  : INV_SUM_FOLDER. INVOICE_NUM = trunc (sysdate)

  Please test. This means that you can not enter an invoice with the date sysdate (it can be a problem?). Suplliers allways bills normally have a date older than the sysdate.

  Use a customization times-new-form-instance and disable all fields on the tab OTHER. Once all fields are disabled, I think that the tab is disabled too.

  I do customizations in the form of user maintenance in our application (11i). For a specified responsibility, we want to prevent the update of all fields except the password. I created actions for each field displayed to UPDATE_ALLOWED = FALSE. When I validate and apply the changes takes place in fine shape and no update is allowed. Once I have leave the screen and come back some fields are now allowing update again. I can't make it stick. Any ideas on how to remedy this situation?

  OK, so first you need custom a field in your form of request for information to collect the credentials on the issue of the WebApp. So, once added to your form, you probably want to change the form of HTML code to hide this custom field, so something like this might work:

  but basically it is going to enter the value of the URL parameter that we will spend in the URL, then...

  Edit your link request to add a parameter to URL to your request for information page URL, then:

  and see that we have added the tag element of webapp as parameter name, so it will be automatically filled in the webapp layout.

  Now, when this link is followed, it will pass the "itemname = name of the WebApp element' along in the URL and the custom field in your automatic form fill up with data."

  NOTE: I assume that you want to move an element webapp name, but you can pass other info text in the Web application instead, just change the tag.

  You can also pass multiple bits of data as well by adding the query string:
