You do the opposite of the way you have them on your phone.

You unsync using iTunes.

  • How can I delete a photo album of the sidebar in the Photos on a MBP

I have accumulated a number of photo albums in the sidebar and want to consolidate some and completely remove others. Simple removal or a combination of keys and delete does not remove the photo album. In the menu bar, I see I can create a new album, but there is no tab that would allow me to delete the album.

You cannot delete system or records albums - for the user created folders, click with the right button on the folder in the sidebar and delete folder - even for albums

  • Remove photo albums

A number of photos have been copied from my PC to an iPad via iTunes album. These were then copied on IPad in a new album for housekeeping purposes.  I now want to delete the first album on the iPad, but despite all kinds of advice, I can't find a work process.  Also in iTunes under "on my device" section there is no mention of any section of photos.

Albums synced from a computer are deleted in the same way they had on the iPad, which is to deselect records/albums that you no longer want on the iPad via the Photos tab in iTunes (the same screen you used to synchronize them with the iPad) and Resync - remove all synchronized albums select and sync just an empty folder for example

But the albums you have created directly on your iPad do not contain their own copies separate photos, they only pointers to them of their original albums - if you delete the synchronized album you will also delete these photos in your album created.

  • How to remove a photo from an album shared iCloud without remove it from the camera

    Hello

I use an iPhone with iOS 9.2.1 6s

I'm trying to remove some photos in an album of iCloud shared with my sister, but every time I clear a photo she it removes also of my camera.

I want to keep the image on my phone that I don't want the image in the shared folder over.

How can I remove the album image, but still keep it on my phone?

All I can think is that you're doing (or do not do, if any) something different from what you think you are. Photos in the camera are not the same as those in a shared album photos, they are 2 separate elements, a delete will not delete both.

Make sure the photo you want to delete is actually in a shared album and not the album photo streams, make sure of one) have a camera and b) is where you want the other image.

  • Remove a shared Photo Album

I created a shared album on the Photos in my library to iCloud. Now, I want to delete the whole album and we tried all three methods to remove. However impossible to remove this album, although I was able to remove the other albums shared in the past. Any ideas? Thank you.

You should be able to remove by highlighting the album and right click and choose delete or press the control key and choose Remove shared album. If this does not work, try restarting the Photos.
