Remove a list to make it matter

Hello

I managed to add a task using the code below. I want to now make sure that the task with the string is not already present before being added, irrelevent of the time, so how can I remove (if present) a task according to the name given to her?

If someone could suggest what to try please?

        try{
        ToDoList list = (ToDoList)PIM.getInstance().openPIMList(PIM.TODO_LIST, PIM.WRITE_ONLY);
        BlackBerryToDo newTask = (BlackBerryToDo)list.createToDo();
        newTask.addString(BlackBerryToDo.SUMMARY, PIMItem.ATTR_NONE, "name of task");
        newTask.addDate(BlackBerryToDo.DUE, 0, HttpDateParser.parse(startTime));
        newTask.addDate(BlackBerryToDo.REMINDER, 0, HttpDateParser.parse(startTime));
        newTask.addInt(BlackBerryToDo.STATUS, ToDo.ATTR_NONE, BlackBerryToDo.STATUS_IN_PROGRESS);

        newTask.commit();
        }catch(Exception e)
        {

        }

Concerning

Alex

You can use the PIMList.items (String matching) or PIMList.items (corresponding to PIMItem)

method to search for a task with a matching name.  Then use the method ToDoList.removeToDo (ToDo) to delete the task.

  • Withdrawal of obsolete lists in the Add/Remove program list?

    I'm working on the clean-up of an older system running Windows XP Pro. The system has two hard drives... whose the second crashed and burned in a fatal way. Software that has been installed on the second drive hard disappeared and is not installed on the replacement drive. The problem this presents, although perhaps minor but annoying, however, is that programs that were on the second disc appear on the Add/Remove Programs list, accessed via the Control Panel, even if they are no longer really exist on the system. Is there a good way to clean the list add/remove program entries for programs that have been lost and never be recovered due to a failure of hard drive like that? Also, are there any other proceedures recommended to clean all traces of system programs that have been lost in this way? Try to remove the traces of these programs using the Add/Remove list does not of course because the entries in the list of reference locations and files that no longer exist.

    Thank you.

    Download ccleaner from piriform. Click Tools > uninstall. Highlight the entries that appear, but is really installed. Then choose Delete. Reformatting is an extreme measure for a simple issue resloved. Regarding running the ccleaner registry cleaning tool, that I personally used for several years without a single incident. This does not apply to all the registry tools however.

  • I can't access drive "D" and remove some content to make more room.

    * Original title: upgrade.

    Hello. I'm trying to reinstall my own copy of windows 7 Ultimate on my laptop for a clean start.

    My problem is that, because I only did this for a while the "D" partition is completely filled. The bar that shows the ability is red instead of green and because there is no place, I can't reinstall the O/P.

    For some reason, I can't access drive "D" and remove some content to make more room. It does not appear on Device Manager, and when I try to access it through my computer it shows "D" drive must be empty.

    I also tried to add and remove programs, but they all seem to be on the C"" drive.

    How do I enter "D" drive to remove enough information for me to finish a reinstall?

    Start the custom installation, it will ask you where store system.  Click Advanced.  Delete all partitions.  The installation process will create the partitions, that he needs and format.  I recommend strongly against any other that what Windows 7 install really wants partitioning.

    My question is very simple: I believe!  How can I remove scanners listed in Windows Fax and Scan App under 'Tools'-> 'Scan routing?  This really should not be so dang hard when I do an install, and regedit, I looked at most of the places are to get rid of any residue.  However, when I get back in Windows FAX and Scan, inevitiably I see printers / scanners way back when I bought this laptop.

    I use Windows 7 Home Premium as my operating system.

    I think I'll try the following:

    Uninstall Norton & reboot

    Reinstall your HP printer using the latest version of the full software features on HP site, preferably in the usb connection.

    Test the printer or use HP diagnostics to test its operation, then uninstall HP printing via programs & features software.

    Then use the HP utility to completely re - move
