  The notification you're statement, for users who need to reset their password for your application, is a bug in the OS.  This is one that I wish BlackBerry would have actually FIXED now, but I guess they did not around him.

  Basically, it is a combination of two things...

  1. When users uninstall your application, the system is not automatically clean it thoroughly after him. The account that you created for the integration of hub is still there.
  2. When some things in the system (restoring the backup, upgrade of the OS, etc.) the system sets a flag on all accounts that says that they need their passwords updated. (if it's actually logical)

  Here are the steps that you can try to solve this problem:

  1. connect with the main administrator account: How can I connect administrator?

  2. Once you are connect to the main administrator account, click Start , then Control Panel.

  3. click on user accounts> adding / deleting account> choose the account to delete.

  4. click on remove account> choose delete files> click delete account.

  You tried to go to settings > accounts and deleting the account there? It allows you to remove it not allow? If this isn't the case, you may wipe the device and try again. Probably best to remove from the unit before turning off at the server end.
