If you do not know the password, you can request the password to someone you think that knows. But if you want to PERMANENTLY DELETE THE ACCOUNT CONTAINING MICROSOFT USER ACCOUNT, you can create a new user with the administrator type account and delete the old user account. Note that all applications that you have installed on the old account will be deleted, but you can decide to keep personal files.

  1. Open the charm > settings > change the settings of the PC.
  2. In the 'Users' section, click or press 'add user '.
  3. Select the account type. If the Microsoft account, enter an address of outgoing e-mail Microsoft account or click on "register for a Microsoft account" If you do not. If Local account, click on connect without a Microsoft account > Local account. Follow the steps below.
  4. When you are finished, do not go to the new user account. Go to Desktop > charm > Control Panel > user account > manage another account > select the new user account.
  5. Click or tap on change the account type. Select administrator and click or type to change the account type.
  6. Sign out of the current account.
  7. On the connection page, select the new user account, enter the password if you have created a.
  8. Go to Desktop > charm > Control Panel > user account > manage another account > select the old user account.
  9. Click or tap on delete the user account.
  10. Decide if you want to keep the files from the old account. If you want, click on keep files, if you are not, click on delete files.

  • How can I remove/uninstall Microsoft "Search Enhancement Pack?

This program is always displayed as a start-up program. How can I remove it. Thank you

    Hi Nick,

Go to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx and run Autoruns and click all.  Look for everything related to the development of research pack or maybe the Windows Live Toolbar or Windows Live or Windows Live Search Toolbar add-in (I've read can be the source of the present) and when you find it uncheck the box to prevent it from start to start.  Check the entire list as there may be several entries.  When you're done, click OK and restart.   The program must start is no longer at the start (but it will still be on your system, if you ever want to use it).

If you really want to unininstall the "program", recogning it can be uninstalled more that just the pack of development of research, but also a toolbar or an add-in, go to start / Control Panel / programs and features and searching for it (it can be called something different as the above options check all the installed programs).  If Yes, click on it and choose uninstall or remove and then reboot and that should be that. To be honest, if you got out of the above startup programs, I had probably lleave alone - but it's your decision to make if she's not there, if not, then go to installed updates and check here to see if you can find it (but I don't think it's an update installed, if I'm wrong).  If Yes, then you must decide if you want to really uninstall an update or not-, I would check the KB article to see the consequences before you do.  Once again, to be honest, if you guessed start above, I would probably leave - but again, it is your decision.

If it is not displayed as an update or a program, download Revo Uninstaller: http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_uninstaller_free_download.html and see if it detects the above names or something similar to uninstall. If so, uninstall it in Advanced Mode and that should solve the problem.

Unless that has changed recently if you don't see it in Add/Remove or Revo, then click on start / all programs / administrative tools / right-click on command prompt, and then click Run as administrator.  (If you use XP, you can use Start / Run instead).  Then paste this line and press enter msiexec /x {9C9CEB9D-53FD-49A7-85D2-FE674F72F24E}. Reboot and see if that helped.

If this does not work, try that same process in the previous paragraph, but instead, use the command msiexec /x {299CF645 - 48 c 7-4FA1-8BCD-5CE2200CF180D}.

    I hope this helps.

    Good luck

When I put my memory card in the computer, it does not even recognize that something is there? How can I get my computer to read?

If you have read never managed a map upper memory to 1 GB (or perhaps 2 GB), the chances are very high that the problem is that your computer has a memory card reader that is too old to read the new SDHC cards (4 GB and more).  In this case, you will need to purchase an external card reader.  They are not very expensive.  For example--> http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=4024&IsNodeId=1&Description=memory%20card%20reader%20usb&name=%240%20-%20%2410&Order=BESTMATCH

First go to shipping and the view box. • How can I remove the microsoft account and use the address as one alias on another?

So I have two microsoft accounts using gmail addresses, the first is the one who has all my data (throughout the onedrive, Skype, xbox, windows, etc.) and the second has nothing. I want to do is delete the second so that I can use the address as primary on the first alias (as is my most used gmail account). Is this possible?

account 1: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

account 2: * e-mail address is removed from the privacy *.

    Hi Dan,.

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Community.

From the description, it seems that you want to remove one of the two Microsoft accounts.

Once you remove the secondary account from Microsoft, you can use the primary address, but you can go as an alias.

To remove a Microsoft account, you can see the Microsoft article and check if that helps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/remove-account

Note: Before deleting an account Microsoft make a backup of data.

You can also consult the Microsoft account and check if it helps:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Live/account-close-account

To remove the Gmail account, you can green light, making the Gmail Web site.

Just reply to the State of the question.

Start > Right click on run , and then select run as administrator > services.msc (type) > [OK]
Double-click automatic updates > click stop
(Stopping the service will take a moment)

2 remove the contents of the download folder:

Start > Right click on run , and then select run as administrator >
    (type or copy/paste) %windir%\SoftwareDistribution > [OK]
Open the download folder and delete its content
    Close the window.

3 start | Control Panel | System maintenance and (if you use Classic view, skip this step). Windows Update |  View the updates available (or Select the updates installed): right-click on KB976325 KB973917 and KB974318, in turn. Click hide update | Confirm the prompt UAC (User Account Control), if any, & OK your way out.

    4. start the automatic updates service:

Start > Right click on run , and then select run as administrator > services.msc (type) > [OK]
