Replace a cloudy sky with a blue sky
Can someone suggest an easy way to replace a cloudy sky with a blue sky using Photoshop? I do photography of real estate now, and I must take pictures on an overcast day. My problem is when I have trees on the photo that I need to replace it with a blue sky. Thank you, Arnold
If you use one of the selection and ordering tools improve the contour or working with a dual channel enhanced to create the mask, the usual technique is to add the sky desired as a layer and apply the mask you created. Replace a dull sky when the objects below the horizon line are of the same color as the sky
Yesterday, I received an exceptional proposal of 'hatstead' to brighten a dull sky, a large part of who was behind the branches of a bare tree. The same technique (using a new layer with any blue skies, a blending mode "darken" and the gradient tool) does not seem to work in this example, probably because the memorial stone (across the road swallowed up to the battlefield of Antietam) is on the same color as the gray sky behind it. I tried 'dark' as an option, but I can't avoid any blue sky that I corrected from another file of bleeding at the edges of the monument. This isn't a photo which I think worth sharing, but I am very curious to know the proper technique to be used in such cases. In this case, the border between the sky and the horizon is relatively simple, and I guess I could use the Smart brush without too many adjustments, but I would really appreciate it if there is another method of learning. Thank you very much!
Yesterday, referenced by K_Gorgadis post is here:
best selection tool to improve the sky showing through a naked tree
The same question about the sky in the current image, i.e. the sky is dull, and there are a few shrubs/trees in the distance.
- Use the magnetic lasso tool to select the commemorative stone and place it on its own layer (layer > new > layer per copy or CTRL + J)
- Close the visibility of this layer by clicking on the "eye" icon. This will protect.
- Ask the sky between layer 0 layer and the layer of memorial stone and perform such drilling as previously defined in post referenced above
- Click on the "eye" icon to make the layer visible memorial again.

Satellite A200-21dts CD/DVD drive with a Blu - ray drive replacement
Hello
I have a laptop Satellite A200-21dts supplied with the mat * a UJ-850 drive.
My original disk no longer works...
I plan to buy a new one, but I wish that whoever has a buit in the Blu - ray dvd player.I've heard that not all players are working with Toshiba laptops, so I would like a little help to find a bluray player that would work with my laptop.
Two readers caught my attention:
the Panasonic UJ - 120 and the Sony BC 5500 has. These drivers work with Toshibas?
Anyone have another suggestion?Thank you much for the help!
Hello
> These drivers work with Toshibas?
I think you will have to test it yourself.
As much as I know Toshiba didn t nothing said about Blueray players compatible Satellite A200.The fact is that not all readers are compatible due to different master/slave/c-salt settings.
With the help of ODD is not compatible you will get an IDE #1 error and the drive will not be recognized by the BIOS.But I've read here in the forum that some guy managed to upgrade own Toshiba units with a blue ray player
So I m thinking you've got a good opportunity to update. -

Cause
The BCCode 50 usually occurs after the installation of the defective material or in case
failure of the hardware installed (usually associated with a faulty RAM, either main memory,
Cache L2 RAM or video RAM memory).Another common cause is a defective system service installation.
Antivirus software can also trigger this error, as can a corrupted NTFS volume.
Solve the problem
Solve a defective hardware problem: If the material has been added to the system recently,
Remove to see if the error recurs. If existing hardware has failed, remove or replace
the defective component. You must run the diagnostics of material provided by the manufacturer of the system.
For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.Fix a defective system service: Disable the service and confirm that this

Update. If the error occurs during the system startup, restart your computer, and press F8 to

This option is most effective when a pilot or a service is added at a time.Solve a problem of antivirus software: Disable the program and confirm that this fixes
the error. If this is the case, contact the manufacturer of the program about a possible update.Fix a corrupted NTFS volume: Run Chkdsk /f /r to detect and repair disk
errors. You must reboot the system before the start of the analysis of disk on a system partition. If
the hard drive is SCSI, check for problems between the SCSI controller and the disk. Finally, check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help
identify the device or driver that generated the error. Disable the cache in memory of the BIOS
could also resolve it.

Hello.
Here are some files dump of my crashes: http://cid-5cfec8d823e42bd3.office.live.com/browse.aspx/.Documents
Here's what happens:
Since June, I've had several accidents with the blue screen noting CRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (Yes, CRQL, no IRQL level), and they are producing at closer intervals. I also notice some changes of office and some sounds to open files that are not have happened before. I run antivirus and malware and found nothing. I did a disk cleanup and defragmentation.
I also tried to install via Windows updates and everything seems to date. I ran Windows Memory Diagnostic tool, and it found no errors. I ran Windows Startup Repair and got the following note:
Root Cause found.
Unknown bug control: one error checking.
Parameters = 0 x 0, 0x817dc32c, 0x820e8114, 0 x 0.
After the last crash, I got a message saying that Windows is aware of the problem and trying to fix it. Any ideas?
Thank you in advance for your help!Hello
Uninstall Faultwire and look for the codes manually as needed. The link to troubleshooting blue screen
page will show you how to get them. How old is the system? A real computer store (not the leeks and glances at a Best Buy or other large surfaces)
Stores) can help to give a proper diagnosis of the machine. You can use Safe Mode - repeatedly tap F8 as you start - use to back up your data in a redundant
way off the machine. Then re-install Windows that "might" help if the problem is software partner.
Of course, you will need to reinstall your programs and restore the data in the machine.Although there are a large number of errors there could be a cause for all. Try to remove ALL power and
reinstall all the memory cards and cables (at both ends, when possible) - actually delete and replace.
do not just tight. Clean the dust bunnies (of course those who are for a PC - for a laptop to ensure that)
the vents are clear). Try using a small fan blowing through the vents to see if heat is a problem.Update key drivers - display/video, NETWORK card and WiFi (network), sound (do not forget to check the sound card drivers
What update because they will often rollback then repeat the installation until the correct version appears), modem
and all of the other major features, you could have as 3rd party mouse or keyboard. This is my generic how updates of appropriate driver:
This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded:
-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system. For
each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver, description,.
version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.htmlFor drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - Device Manager - Display Adapter - note the brand and complete model of your
video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on UPdate Driver (this
cannot do anything as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then do a right click - Uninstall - REBOOT
This will refresh the driver stack.Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party with their
own the software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have. Now go to the site of the manufacturer of system (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) (restoration) and then of the manufacturer of the device
(Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for the BIOS, Chipset and software)
updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after each installation.
Always check in the Device Manager - tab drivers version you install actually shows up. This
because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (particularly that audio drivers) so install a
pilot - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat if necessary.Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW on device at the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER - manually check by model.
Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

http://www.Vistax64.com/tutorials/193584-Device-Manager-install-driver.htmlIf you update the drivers manually, then it's a good idea to disable the facilities of driver in the Windows updates,
This leaves ONE of Windows updates, but it will not install the drivers who are generally older and cause
questions. If updates offers a new driver and then hide it (right click on it) and then go look for new ones
manually if you wish. How to disable automatic driver Installation in Windows Vista - drivers

Is it possible to replace the hard drive with an SSD? or would it be too expensive?
Is it possible to replace the hard drive with an SSD?
or would it be too expensive?
Yes. There are several alternatives. I found a way relatively inexpensive, using a map of mSATA (very small SSD) and an adapter to connect it to the connector IDE 44 pin internal of my PowerBook. It works very well. Rather than repeat what I posted previously, you can watch these two topics (which also has good info, other users)
Re: This win to install a SSD drive in a PowerBook G4?

FYI - I have used the adapter is even cheaper now

Weird with the blue circle bar appeared above the tabs
HI - last night, shortly after (not sure how long exactly) after installing Silverlight - direct on the preferred video amazon site, a strange white bar with a blue circle ringed appeared above my tabs in the browser. I do not think that it appeared directly after the installation of Silverlight, but some time later - during which I was on and off my computer - it 'appeared '...
Here is a picture:
http://imgur.com/WezuIoVAnd a mode of incognito, that shows something, but I do not know what...
http://imgur.com/MlhJKbtI tried to disable the silverlight plug - nothing; I tried to play around with the Settings toolbar - nothing; then I restarted with modules disabled (in the Help menu) and it disappeared. But then when I restared in normal mode - it was always there... I need to reset (which probably do disappear, but I want to know what caused it)? Can I have some sort of bug? I'd be worried, virus (maybe it is excessive; I'm on a mac, but...)?
Thanks for any help
I fell on this particular issue so the other day. It turned out not to be any of my extensions the cause, but instead, it was a theme called "Default Mod" (which was updated to version 28 February 27). I've downgraded to version 27.1 and the blue circle went.
EDIT: Looking at your screenshot, it seems that use you the default theme Mod as well, so it's most likely the problem.

I've replaced Firefox 3.6 with version 4 that is not on my computer. How can I reinstall Firefox 3.6?
Firefox 4 requires at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac. There is a third part of Firefox 4 version that works under OS X 10.4/10.5 and PPC Macs, for details, see http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox

Replace old hard drive with an SSD. Now some of the keys on the keyboard stopped working. Ex 'e' and 'b' keys no longer work? Any idea what could take place in the disc replacement?
Probably nothing, it's probably a fluke. Try resetting the SMC and the PRAM by iMac Intel SCM and reset the PRAM. If this does not work, try a USB keyboard to test, if it works then your original keyboard has failed and must be replaced.

Hey guys,.
I have a pc hp pavilion touch laptop 14, which has been having a defective hard disk that the operating system was not start and the system test indicated that the hard drive contained errors.
I replaced the hard drive with a new one and before installing the hard drive I formatted with a win installation 8.1. I thought the laptop would just start normally to win8, but gave me a screen saying:boot device not found please install an operating system on drive hard drive (3f0)
The hard drive is new and I did not not how its gives me this error!
In addition, this laptop does not seem to boot from a cd to format!
Any ideas?
Thank you
KarlHey BHK6,
I found out what was wrong! It was so simple!
I just need to make the boot inherited from the bios, like that he started directly from the hard drive and does not need of any software pre installed HP to start.
