  I want to make a screenshot for ESA series Spectrum Analyzer. I make a screenshot, but still not even the current. If and only if I do not use MMEMEL function after reading binary data under vi I screenshot, but not the current one. And if I use the function MMEMEL then I get blank screen capture. And on the screen of the spectrum I always get message that INTERRUPTED the query and error output, I get attention. I don't know what to do these things happened... I'll be very happy if someone help me with this...

• Keithley 2100 error 410 request interrupted

  I use a more complex system, but I have dumbed it down to the simplest form. I get an error 410 in a completely random way, resulting in a false collection of data. I was reading upward on this error and discovered that it was mainly due to orders being more quickly that they may be processed? But I ran my program with every 60 seconds and still give the error occasionally.

  There is no need to initialize the unit more than once - like Kiethly hate that since they have one lot of stuff to do other than your measurement.

  I don't know if it's important, but the 'PSA Screen Capture via GPIB1' VI you downloaded is looking for the Subvi "VISA Read block of binary data", but you have downloaded "VISA read binary block given to file1. What is the difference?

  The reason of the error of REQUEST INTERRUPTED, is you issue one * OPC? command, but never read the answer. This command causes the parser to return a 1 after the command is completed. You never read it. Thus, the Analyzer complains, as it should.

  In collaboration with LV 8.2.1 in real time to develop applications that monitor or emulate computers on bus RS-422.   The following screenshots have been taken an application that monitors a transmission of 200 Hz.  After a few hours, the PXI station would break a range impressive messages angry... most involving something about memory loss.  After much hair pulling and passing money, my partner has discovered while looking at the available memory on the controller of loss of memory occurred at each loop containing a VISA read and propagation of error using the data nodes (see Leak.jpg of memory).  He concluded that if he went to the propagation of the error to the regular old shift registers, then the available memory was rock-solid.  (has the Leak.jpg of No memory)

  Any ideas of what could be the cause?  Do you see not any problem with the way that we code these kinds of loops?  We always strive to optimize the way in which we use the memory on our urgent requests and VISA readings and DAQmx bed give us the heartache more than ever, we are able to allocate memory for these screws some tips?

  Hi thisisnotadream,

  This problem has been reported, and you seem to be exactly reproduce the conditions required to see this problem. This was reported to R & D (# 134314) for further investigations. There are several possible solutions, of which one is the one you have already found the wiring error directly in the loop. Other situations which give rise to no memory leak are:

  1 if the bytes of the property node port is not there and has read lies in each iteration and time-outs resulting are ignored.

  2. If the structure of the deal is gone and just blindly check the bytes to the port and read each iteration.

  3. If the timed loop is transformed into a while loop.

• Error - 410 after scan

  I'm programming a Keithley SourceMeter 2430 to run a scan. Using a similar code to scan no I've never had a problem. I run a scan on the GPIB-USB-HS. First time works fine, but when I try to get a second series of readings, I get the error of request interrupted-410. If I restart my software can I get again a series of measures before the error. I fought with this for a few days and I need help.

  The two problems are solved now. I found that if I put any of any delay, readstring somehow made a statement break the vb code until the scan is done.

  I worked successfully during the USB transfer in BULK, but the engineers of software here want it works on the sup HID Protocol, in order to simplify the process of adaptation.
  I read on the forum, but I couldn't find how to set up this type of transfer of the library, as I do with in bulk.

  Anyway, I found my Pentecost HID in a way throw the interruption VISA waiting, and it works very well, or at least IN mode (CPU host). But IM not been able to do in mode. I don't know why, but it just doesn't work.

  This is my vi, in particular, it receive and store data in a * file txt according to certain parameters.

  Doubts about this, don't forget to tell me.

• How to prevent the .aliases file

  I'm working on several requests for VISA/RS232 based. Each project is a file auto-obtient with an extension .aliases.

  This .aliases file typically includes information specific to the host as a local IP address. Example:

  [Mein Computer]
  Mein Computer=192.168.1.123
  [My Computer]
  My Computer=localhost
  

  Although this information might make sense on my local development system - they don't make sense for sure if they are auto-copié to other clients (which could be found in other networks/places) - at least if these applications do not use some resources shared on the network - which I use at all.

  So my main question is:

  (a) is it possible to prevent these automatically generated files .aliases?

  Side issues:

  (b) why this file is at all out of the box?

  (c) is there a kind of information to other information available about these .aliases files?

  Background:

  I don't like the idea of spreading useless (I guess it's useless in my case - app) files with my Installer. These local ip addresses stored in the alias file will probably not any real function if they are not allowed in the structure of the local network & software use case... which is probably pretty specific to each new case.

  Any help is appreciated

  I do not understand why you include the .aliases file with your Installer. I do not include this file, or any project, when I build my Installer and then it does not install files that do not need to be installed.
