Reset menu password on C90
Does anyone know if there is a way to reset the password for the menu on a C90 v7.3.3?
I scoured a switch IPDC and Central market for classified/not classified. Would a break reset any configuration associated with these components?
I have SSH access, but can't seem to get the web interface.
Appreciate any help.
Thank you
Mike
xCommand SystemUnit MenuPassword Set Password: "" erases the existing password. "
Factory reset would probably break these configs as this will reset parameters to default values.
Perhaps, give you a clue as to why you can't access web gui, ssh into the box from systemtools go network netstat - if the Web server is launched, you should see ports 80 or 443 in the list. Toggle using xConfiguration NetworkServices HTTP (or HTTPS) Mode:

Hello
Try Firefox Safe mode to see if the problem goes away. Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode, which disables most of the modules.
(If you use it, switch to the default theme).
- Under Windows, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key SHIFT key when you open the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- On Mac, you can open Firefox 4.0 + in Safe Mode holding the key option key when starting Firefox.
- Under Linux, you can open Firefox 4.0 + with leaving Firefox then go to your Terminal and running Safe Mode: firefox-safe-mode (you may need to specify the installation path of Firefox for example/usr/lib/firefox)
- Or open the Help menu and click on the restart with the disabled... modules menu item while Firefox is running.
Once you get the pop-up, simply select "" boot mode safe. "
If the issue is not present in Firefox Safe Mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one. To do this, please follow article Troubleshooting extensions, themes and problems of hardware acceleration to resolve common Firefox problems .
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before you open Firefox for normal use again.
When find you what is causing your problems, please let us know. It might help others who have the same problem.
Thank you.

I don't remember what my password for the administrative account.i did not a password reset disk. AlSi o do not have a disk to recover. How can I reset my password or put on the administrative account?
If you have forgotten your password, if you have another user who has administrative privileges account you can log in to that account and change the password of your account of origin of the user accounts applet in Control Panel. If you do not have another account like this set upwards or that you do not have the password which you will need to log on to the built-in Administrator account. In XP Home, start the computer in Mode safe. This, by repeatedly pressing the F8 key as the computer starts. This will put you in the right menu. Navigate using your arrow up; the mouse does not work here. Once in safe mode, you will see the normally hidden administrator account. The default password is white.
In XP Pro, you don't need to go to Safe Mode. In the home screen, do Ctrl-Alt-Del twice to get the classic Windows logon box. Type in "Administrator" and the password that you assigned when you set up Windows.
If you reset the password of the account administrator integrated into house or have Pro and don't remember the password, use NTpasswd to change the password of the built-in to a white administrator account. Download the bootable CD .iso image file, burn with third-party burning software such as free ImgBurn , Nero or Roxio. Burn as an image, not in the form of data. Start with the media that you have created. You need to maybe change the boot order in the BIOS or obtain a menu of boot command temporary with the pressure of a special key. NTpasswd will run. Follow the instructions carefully.

Then, go to the user accounts applet in Control Panel and set passwords that you remember and other changes. WRITE THE PASSWORDS DOWN AND PUT THEM SOMEWHERE YOU WON'T LOSE THEM.

How can I reset my password without a reset disk or flash drive?
For some reason, I was prompted to change my administrative password. I changed and forgot it. I am trying to reset the password, but I do not have a reset disk/flash drive, and it is there no CD-ROM/DVD-ROM on the computer. There is an administrator account and a personal account on the computer. Is it possible to reset the password?
Sorry, I should have removed a few additional references CD in my recipe. Here it goes again - it's just like before. Your challenge will be to make the flash startup disk. You will probably need the help of a computer-savvy friend.
1. put your BIOS so that it uses a USB device as its primary boot device.
2 start the computer with your repair Windows 7 USB flash drive. Here's the recipe to make one:
http://mintywhite.com/Windows-7/7maintenance/create-bootable-Windows-7-system-repair-USB-drive-netbooks/
3. press a button if prompted to boot from the flash drive.
4. Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
5. Select repair when prompted.
6. When you are prompted, select System Restore.
7. set Windows to a point before this problem occurred.
8. Once completed, remove the flash drive before restarting the system. -
I put a password on my laptop last night that I thought must have been correct, but somewhere I think I made a mistake and now can't log in to my laptop. I forgot to do a reset disk - silly me! - and I believe that this is the administrator account as this is the only account on the current laptop. Someone knows some way in which I can reset the password without disk? My hard drive has given up working a few months ago, so I'm pretty stuck.
Thanks in advance!
Here you go:
- Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
- Start the computer with your Windows 7 repair CD.
- Press a key when prompted to boot from the DVD.
- Select 'PC Repair' in the menu.
- Select 'Repair' when prompted.
- When you are prompted, select System Restore.
- Configure Windows to a point before you changed the password.
- Plan ahead a little and create, test and document an alternative admin account, same as you have a spare emergency House key.

so I put a password on my laptop and then I decided to check if it was just logging out and logging, he just kept saying my password is incorrect, and I need to reset it how can I reset my password
A much safer way would be to do it like this:- Create an account admin spare (the ones that you have a spare House key).
- Test it.
- If successful, change the password for your existing account.
You can recover from your situation as follows:- Set your BIOS so that it uses the DVD drive as its primary boot device.
- Create, test and document the admin account to spare that I mentioned above.
