  I assume you are using the Vista operating system.
  In order to reset the password, you will need a password reset disk

  Here's a nice description of how to create a password reset disk:

  But note; the password reset disk can be created if you would be able to connect to Windows Vista.

  But if you would not be able to create the password reset disk, then you can try using the three method which is also described in the statement.

  If you set password history on don't allow orevious you can reference the table pwh.

  You can also create a UDF who inquire about the handler reset passwoed and check against it. IOM has many points of validation of your code to.

  I tested on my version 1.3 ISE and it worked fine. My understanding of the matter is, you were not able to change the default Admin user password by logging CLI with another user with admin role.

  I tested on my version 1.3 ISE and it worked well for me. With the ISO image, you can change the password of the admin user, but you cannot change the names of users.

  There are utilities such as Offline NT that can reset passwords. Perhaps it would be easier to just boot into Recovery and reinstall Windows if you don't have any files not to lose you.
