  Well, a few weeks ago, I changed my password to connect to windows 7. I have one user on my laptop and it is administrator, of course. Then when I changed it I started using my sensor of fingerprint instead of type the password every time I turn on the laptop but over the weeks, I forgot the password and I don't have a reset disk. I can still connect and use the laptop with the fingerprint login, but I can not connect with password due to forget me. Is there anyway to reset the password without ill reset or the windows cd, what has been suggested by others, yet I do not have and have never heard of him. I tried using cmd and restart the computer in safe mode, but I failed because it did not work for me or I didn't do it properly because of instructions is not not clear. I don't want to download the 3rd party software thank you.

  How can I connect to Windows Vista on a Mac under VMWare Fusion when you don't know the password?  Vista has been installed using VMWare Fusion in 9/08.  No password is needed to connect to Windows Vista.  Now in 11/08, after not having used Vista in a few weeks (2 months after installation), it asks me a password that I did not know that I have created.  I tried "*" (without the quotation marks), the VMWare Fusion Easy Install password and several other obvious passwords without success.  Vista requires you to reset your password every 2 months?

  Had recently changed the password disk and curiosity entry "not enough space", as hitting the SPACEBAR once, as the new pw. Repeated, agreed and worked.

  However, now I can't access the drive more. Hit 'space' at the pw prompt will still have the blocked path.

  All old/new password to enter the space just tried. Nothing. The drive was my nearby since so nobody else would not change it in the meantime.

  Got some important data backed up and we hope that me to play around with this option will not end to erase everything.

I have (1) check my CD/DVD drive works (2), I watched the video on how to create a password reset disk (3) I did the procedure successfully in the past on other computers (4) I rebooted the computer after having difficulty finding the opportunity to insert a disk in drive D, the name of the drive for my DVD / CD player. What is the problem?

  The problem is that when I am asked to insert a disc in the player I'd give myself a choice is not drive D, the name of the drive to my CD/DVD drive.
