Reset the Admin Console Admin password.

Hi people.

One of these questions...

I have vCOPs trial (Version 5.7.2, Build 1314472).

It has been installed, and now I want to introduce some statements of SMTP, so I need to access the Administration console, but I forgot the password.

> I have 'root' access to two virtual machines in the paralytic.

> I can access the console of the "admin" user interface

> I can't just access the GPMC as "admin".

For the life of me I don't know a way to change the password of admin for this particular console.

Can I change the admin console UI using the resetadminpwd.sh command, but it doesn't seem to change the other console.

I try to change the admin user by using the command passwd admin , but this does not seem to apply either.

Can someone please advise?

Thank you!

Yes, no joy.

However, I've now solved:

Passwords admin on the Analytics box and the user interface of the box where not the same thing.

I've now changed them, so they are both the same, and it's to let me.

The base admin passwd command on the correct box does the work.

Thanks for trying to help me!

    Hi all

I use APEX v4.2 and inadvertently forgot password administrator apex. I tried to reset the password by executing the apxchpwd.sql as sys in SQLPLUS but modified past is not being recognized when I try to connect to apex_admin as the admin user. Could someone tell me what I can do to successfully reset the admin password

    Kind regards

    Kevin.

    Kevin,

Do you have updated recently to an earlier version of the APEX by any chance? Are you sure that you run the script apxchpwd.sql APEX 4.2 and not an older version?

It may seem like a stupid question, but I have seen this problem when you try to change the admin apex password using a script from an earlier version.

  • How to reset the admin password using the account limited in safe mode?

    I use a limited account

I'm in safe mode with networking

I can use the cmd.exe and some features of the control panel

You cannot reset the administrator of a limited account password.  You must be logged in with administrative permissions in order to reset the password of any other user account.

Simply log in using the built-in Administrator account (it cannot be deleted) using start > run > 'control userpasswords2' to change the desired accounts.

By design, the only way to connect to the administrator account on Windows XP Home is to restart in Mode without failure.  For WinXP Pro, by pressing CTRL + ALT + DELETE twice at the Welcome screen will produce the standard login dialog box.  Unless the owner deliberately value password to the administrator via the Management Console (_not_ Control Panel), it is probably still a Virgin.  WinXP Pro ask the installer to set the administrator password during installation, but WinXP Home does not work.

Failing, Linux-based password cracking utility abound on the Internet, available for free to anyone who can use Google.

  • HP ljMFPM277dw: restore to factory default to reset the admin password

    Hello

I just bought the HP ljMFPM277dw and was able to connect to the network, however, I noticed after typing my IP address on the summary page of network that he was not connected properly with WPA2, so I tried to make changes to.  Our router Verizon Actiontec with a dummy button, so I couldn't connect safely like this, and I have been unable to determine how to enter a PIN code provided by the printer in the router.  On the Web IP of the printer page, I create an administrator password, but apparently do not write it down correctly.   So with the changes that I made there, is no longer a printer/network connection and I'm unable to enter the password and can not enter the IP to access the printer on the web info.  WiFi Direct printers is enabled, but the network WiFi and HPeprint is off, and every password I tried is not valid.  I tried restoring default and the wireless network, solve problems in the manual, but each needed the password suggestion.  Now I understand how critical it is that I get no change on the printer IP address web page.  My office is a Mac OS 10.10 and my PC laptop uses Windows 8.1.  Any help would be so appreciated!

I really want to THANK you ALL for READING THIS & YOUR TIME. So please help if you can...

    and ideas?

    Thank you, xxVEGASxx

    * xxVEGASxx *.

You can do a reset of the printer using the LED screen on the printer.

Select Configuration, then Tools, then restore the default settings. "Restore default settings" is the last element of the list and you will have to scroll down to see it.

Which erases all settings, including the password for the printer.

To reset you describe is probably the one mentioned in this article:

    http://resetprinters.com/how-to-reset-the-HP-OfficeJet-Pro-8600-premium-all-in-one-printer/

but it's probably a deeper reset that you really need anyway.

  • Re: Equium M50 - do not know the admin password

Need to run the recover console on my M50 pre-installed, but do not know the password - HELP!

    Hi loneraver,

Why you n t know the admin password? Normally all passwords will be defined by the user, or in other words, I suppose that you have set all passwords.

Unfortunately if you n t know the password more you have to reinstall the entire operating system. So take the Toshiba Recovery disk or the Microsoft disk to reinstall Windows.

    Hello @bDannyman,

I understand that you lost the administrator password that have set you up on your HP Officejet Pro 8610 e-all-in-one printer. I would like to help you today with resetting the password on your HP Officejet.

Unfortunately, the password is in the programming of your printer. Therefore, in order to reset the password for you to use all the features of your machine once again, we have to run a programming semi full reset. This reset will cause your printer to 'think' it starts for the first time again.

Please check your private Messages for instructions on how to perform semi full reset.

When connect us as a domain user account show an error message "there is no relation ship between with the domain" I think we can fix this iisue join it to the domain Suiloidi. But I connect as Administrator local (I forgot). How can I reset Local admin password.

any body has any idea please answer me!

    Thank you

    Thanks for your reply.

you know that I am the network administrator

There are a lot of options built into Windows to help you out of this situation:
    • Restart the computer with your Windows repair CD, then use system restore to set Windows in a few days (only works if the domain relationship failed recently).
    • Log on to your account admin to spare, and then reset the password for your existing account (works only if you set up an alternative admin account).
    • Log in as administrator mode without failure, then reset the password for your existing account (the password is usually empty).
    • Insert your flash drive USB with the password key file (only works if you have taken the time to create such a key file).
    • Use the password indicator (works only if you have created a hint and if it's good enough to allow you to guess the password)
    • Check your paper files (works only if you threw down the password somewhere)
If none of these methods work, you must rebuild the machine, then use the method that most system administrators use: create, test, and document a local administrator account spare. Make the same on each computer where you are responsible for.
