Resize problems in Flex Panel...

Hi all

I'm developing a flex panel that opens in Illustrator. All right. But I encountered a problem on the resizing of the Panel. When the Panel is open at the start, it opens with the appropriate dimensions (ie the dimensions that I gave in the design). But if I develop the Panel, then close Illustrator without closing the Panel, then when I launch Illustrator once again, the Panel opens with same dimensions as I closed it with, but the control panel items are not resized. I need to resize a second time to get the resized elements. Here are a few screenshots to explain what I say in a better way.

The Panel when I unzip:

1.JPG

The group, when I open Illustrator again:

2.JPG

I couldn't find the reason for this behavior. So please help me!

Thank you!

Base class that you use for your extension? MX:application or csxs:CSXSWindowedApplication? If the first, passed this last result of differences in behavior?

  • PNG resize problem on front Panel (not stripped)

    I'm having a problem trying to develop custom controls and expand my GUI beyond the default options Labview.  I'm using a Visio flowchart to illustrate an industrial process.  I encountered a problem trying to add items such as indicators of tanks to the façade.  To do this, I'm importing Visio images, in photoshop and then saving them as png to maintain transparency.  The problem I have is that when I drop this file .png on the front panel and resize, Labview seems to be falling pixels and cut the edges of my image.  This seems to happen on which corner I resize the base.

    Example:

    Sample PNG bumped against a new front and then resized using the building in the container box.

    I have the same problems with the .gif files.  I have reviewed the various .png and .gif export options, and I don't see anything that I'm missing.  I don't have a problem with JPEG files, so it must be something related to transparency.  Is this a known problem or there at - it a labview option, I'm missing?  I am currenlty using Labview 2010 SP1.

    Given that I'm still in phase of my development of gui layout, I don't know the exact dimensions of all my items and I was hoping I'd be able to resize it as I'm going to and not to be completely locked in at custom controls.  Any idea would be appreciated.  I searched the forums, but all the questions that I could find were mostly programmatically resizing problems.

    One option, you can try exporting the EMF or WMF image. LV should be able to import that, and because it is a vector format, in my opinion, it should also resize correctly.

    Another alternative is to draw in BT itself, either decorations or control of image to draw programmatically (although you should be aware that this option can have performance issues).

  • Flex 4 - resize problem - delayed reaction

    I'm having a problem using the effect of resizing on my spark Panel. I want to resize the height of my Panel and the transition to another State to display when the user clicks a button. The problem occurs when the effect of resizing tries to shoot. The resizing of the Panel is delayed and Florence. It seems almost properly load the elements of the new view state before the effect can run. I have attached a screenshot to illistrate how my application is supposed to act.

    Does anyone know if there is a way to solve this problem? I use Flash Builder 4 with the SDK 4.1.

    FlexProblem.JPG

    If there is an equivalent of the spark of a mx component so I advise to use it.  Flex 4.1 with no spark form its fine to stick with mx:Form for now.

    I have the feeling that you run into a bug similar to this: http://bugs.adobe.com/jira/browse/SDK-28787

    That the solution was to use the spark form (introduced in Flex 4.5)

  • Drop a URL on an a Flex panel InDesign document

    Hello world

    I have a Flex panel in InDesign, which I drag a URL. If I drop this URL in a text editor or a web browser, it works. But when I try to drop on my InDesign document, it's a little more difficult.

    I've implemented a subclass of CDragDropTargetFlavorHelper. The drop works perfectly under Windows. But on a mac, I have problems in the CouldAcceptTypes method:

    DragDrop:TargetResponse

    AutocatDNDCustomFlavorHelper: CouldAcceptTypes (const IDragDropTarget* target, DataObjectIterator* dataIter, const IDragDropSource* fromSource, const IDragDropController* controller) const

    {

    if (0 ! = dataIter & & 0 ! = target)

    {

    DataExchangeResponse response = dataIter - >kURLDExternalFlavorFlavorExistsWithPriorityInAllObjects();

    if (answer. CanDo ())

    {

    }

    }

    }

    The problem is that kTrue response.canDo () of answers on Windows, but on Mac kFalse. I tried to explore the content of dataIter, but a call to dataIter-> First() returns zero. I tried a controller-> GetItemCount(), which returns the value 1. But if I try a controller-> GetDragItem (1), I get a pointer zero. I feel there is no element.  However, the fall works on an application other than InDesign as I said.

    Is this a problem of integration? Or something else? He let me dry.

    Thanks in advance

    I finally found a 'solution '. It is dirty, but I couldn't find another clean solution, so I use it.

    The solution is the following: in the couldAcceptTypes method, I get the first object in the DataObjectIterator and store the itemID I recover from the object in. I record it with a dirty memcpy (no other solution, the method is declared as const).

    Then, in the ProcessDragCommand, I get the itemID and then call GetDragItem with the itemID. There, I finally get the item.

    Why make such a solution? Because the itemID on PC is alsways 1. But on Mac, I got one was something like 719531, or other. I don't know why.

    If this solution can help someone, it will be good. If anyone finds a solution, I would be grateful to know it.

    @Dirk: I tried your solution, but were unable to make it work. I have done something wrong, I don't know...

    Hello

    Control Panel - SOUNDS - Audio peripheral devices configuration-manager

    Make sure you write down the description and model double click top - tab drivers - write version. Now
    Click on update drivers who cannot do anything like MS is far behind the certification of drivers. Then RIGHT
    CLICK above and UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will rebuild the driver stack.

    If your driver shows 06 you have the default windows and part of the question.

    Go to the system manufacturer's website and get the latest Audio/Sound drivers - download - SAVE - go to the place where you
    Put them - right click on Reboot - RUN AS ADMIN -.

    Check the Version on the tab of the driver in the device as a sound Manager often restoring drivers, then install
    the current version. Restart and check after each try, not uncommon to have to run the pilot of 1 to 4 times or more.
    Just make sure that the version you have installed appears in the tab of the driver.

    Then navigate to the site of the manufacturer of the device and search for the drivers more recent and repeat the installation procedure.

    Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

    Click with the right button on the speaker near clock - recorders - right click in the box - check show disconnected devices
    and show disabled devices - check your micro - highlight them, then lower right properties. Do
    of course the appropriate injector is enabled and check that other settings - on the levels tab make sure MUTE is not checked
    and APPLY / OK changes.

    Also in the search for some Audio Manager Panel (perhaps named after the manufacturer of the sound driver). Mine

    Hello

    I forgot to note that download that contains samples, libraries for compilation, and documentation is here (middle of page):

    It's for CS5 with some notes on CS4 backward compatibility. I will send you a private message with a link to the specific panel of CS4 guide. The differences being that the underlying architecture to support extensions changed some APIs between CS4 and CS5. The panels can require the old CS4 .swc denpending on what you're trying to make the panels.

  • Problem in Flex Builder user interface after installation of Flex 3

    So, here's an interesting question. And my apologies in advance if it has been reported before. But I spent the greater part of two days, installation / uninstallation / cleaning / resettlement. However, still having the problem with Flex Builder 3:

    After the launch of Flex Builder 3, I create a new project and "right click" on the name of the project in the browser in Flex in order to launch the 'Properties' dialog box. " Tab property page resource, various fields are truncated and drop-down list boxes are all jacked. In fact, under the Flex Build Path tab, it is completely empty. Basically, throughout the Flex Builder IDE, I have various missing fields or bizarre behavior.

    Then... at this point, I've pretty much uninstalled, uninstalled the JRE (think this is related to java), cleaned the system registry, uninstalled flash players, edited the flexbuilder.ini with one "-clean", installed updates for Vista (so now this system is on SP1) essentially... I have everything humanly possible short of formatting the system again.

    Running Windows Vista x 64; 8 GB of RAM; NVidia 8800 video card.

    To make sure that I wasn't completely lose my mind... I installed on a portable system and everything ran like a charm. Thus, after traveling through these forums and Google the issue to death... I can't find the answer.

    If anyone can help me it would be much appreciated!

    You're probably also using the logitech SetPoint on Vista x 64 drivers, who have a known conflict with Eclipse 3.3.

    (The 'solution' is one) to get rid of the drivers (but I love my DiNovo Edge keyboard!) or Eclipse use b) 3.4M4 and the plugin. However, it is not entirely taken in charge, so they sometimes issues, especially with design mode, so generally I use FB3 and switch and then run away when I need to change a setting (not optimal, I know, but not as frequent as that, once a day on average for me). Or just edit the parameters with a text editor.

    Or (c) perform virtualization VMWARE etc. and do it all in x 86.

    (Mise en garde, je n'ai jamais essayé un) personally, but have read that it works.)

  • Problem in flex with cross-domain to script using GET method

    Hello

    I have a strange problem in Flex, the appeal of scripts located on other servers, using the GET method.

    When I want to connect with a HTTPService in Flex for a script that is located on a different domain than the flex application, I place a crossdomain.xml in the root of the server script:

    <? XML version = "1.0"? >
    <!- http://www.script-domain.com/crossdomain.xml ->
    < cross-domain-policy >
    < allow-access-from domain = "www.app-domain.com" / >
    < / cross-domain-policy >

    The problem is that when you use the GET method to the crossroads, it seemes that the flashplayer adds search for the crossdomain.xml at the end of the query string. With a url snooper I can that the requested url, and when the player seeks the crossdomain.xml, it does so in a strange way:

    http://www.script-domain.com?var1=val1 & var2 = val2/crossdomain. XML

    It seems to use the url + querystring as a url and puts the crossdomain.xml at the end of the query string, which is NOT the location of it, and the application fails with a runtime error message.

    Looking for the crossdomain.xml should look like this:

    http://www.script-domain.com/crossdomain.XML

    If I use the POST method instead, it works fine, but I would like to be able to use the GET method.

    Any suggestions?

    / Jesper

    Problem solved!

    For correct work crossdomain checking, you must ask the script remote itself and not only the remote folder:

    http://www.remote-domain.com/script.php?va1r=val1&var2=val2

    That's all!

    Don't you think that the resource string could solve this problem?

    You can certainly try a resource string. I used only once I understood how they worked, I find it much easier to build a UI in this way.

    myPanel.layout.layout (true);  Tried it, but all child elements arranged in a line or column that's it, do not respect the limits specified.

    To a resource string, make sure that every single container element specified margins or spacing info. If they do not have this set the automatic layout manager will just default to each calibration of control internal specifications, which vary with each version of AE.

    How can I universalize the user interface for all versions of EI? While I'll change once and for all.

    There is no miracle solution for all versions of AE to play nice with your construction. You to beta-test your code in each version of the EA you want your script to run on and then unique questions individually. Your script should contain a checker version AE, so you can know what patches, you need to implement when the user runs the script. It is not ideal and is one of the many oddities of software development based on the API of someone else.

  • Component of GridBagLayout resizing problem

    Hello

    I am designing a swing GUI and decided to a GridBagLayout because it offers the most freedom.

    What I have intended, had a basic GUI, to which an additional panel would be added at the click of a menu option.

    Before the selection of the GUI is very well, all components are present and properly sized. However, once this additional panel is added, and the elongated JFrame window width, the sizes of some components increase who painted on a JMenu.

    I'm not sure why some components are getting resized, as the method of adding Panel removes and adds that the problem of those components. Although I finally deleted and then added all the components.

    Here's the code to add components to the JFrame. the order in which the method is called is SetConstraints ("init"), SetConstraints("add"), and SetConstraints("remove")

    Hello Fillis52,

    I don't really understand your logic. Why remove you components, and then add the same components, once again (and with the same constraints)?

    In general, the size of the components can change because GridBagLayout uses one of two sizes, depending on the available space: PreferredSize or MinimumSize (in the case where the PreferredSize is large to fit in the layout). The size of a column or row can also change when there is more space to be distributed according to the components weightx/weight constraints.

    Furthermore, it is recommended to create a new GridBagConstraints object every time we want to add a new component to the container.

    See also this little tutorial: http://wiki.byte-welt.net/wiki/The_GridBagLayout

    See you soon,.
    André

    EDIT: If the variable "canvas" made reference to an instance of the impossible, we know that it is not recommended to mix swing and awt gui components. Bat, we use JComponent or JPanel instead of canvas.

  • Creation of XMP in CS4 Flex Panel

    I'm doing a XMP custom panel for Photoshop CS4 using Flex Builder 3.  I just Flex, so I will try to learn it.  I downloaded the XMP SDK fileinfo and followed the directions to open a new XMP Panel project.  I installed the plugin of POT.  After I put in my Panel/project name and click done, it generates flex code and I get an error stating: there is an error on line 99 of your MXML document: the tag 'TestPanel' has an invalid syntax.

    Anyone know what I'm supposed to do?

    Here are the lines 98-100:

    < mx:TabNavigator id = "fileInfoTabs" width = "100%" height = "100%" >
    < panels: TestPanel id = "_customPanel" / >
    < / mx:TabNavigator >

    Hello

    you don't have to worry about this "error 99", it's just a problem from the view of the page layout in Flex.

    It's a bit confusing that there are two classes named "TestPanel":

    one is the actual Panel and the other a little test program to debug Panel.

    Please open the other class 'com.examples.panels.TestPanel', which is the actual Panel, you are supposed to extend.

    Sometimes it's easier to work in source code mode.

    Hope this helps,

    -Stefan

    You can find the installation path of the plugins on the topic: plugins page.

    You can view the installation folder of Flash player for multiple Flash player plugins and delete older versions of the plugin (NPSWF32) and possibly (re) install the latest Flash Player.
