  When I drag a clip in the project Panel in a sequence, everything works as indicated in the manual. And when I drag the same clip with the program monitor, everything works still fine - but I don't see any adjacent items displayed. How to view?

  I need help with display and editing text in labview.

  The text should display and change according to the following conditions:

  0 volt - "no power".

  1 volt - "controller ON".

  Based on the voltage read by the channel, the text must be displayed and modified on the same area of the front panel. For example, initially it will be 0 Volt and the text "No power" should appear as an indicator of text (and not as a warning message). He needs to change ' controller we ' when the chages of voltage from 0 to 1 volt. The canal reads the analog input voltage (range 0 - 5V).

  I'm relatively new to labview. So please give me pointers or from suggestions on how can be done. Any help is greatly appreciated.

  Thanks for the crossrulz of notes, have not used the front threshold.  For this simple example, it is "symmetrical", but I can see how the values in the table have been does not correspond to the index position that is so true useful.  Learn something every day, I could not resist, wanted to try.

  OK, here's a sample VI that puts a custom message based on the crossing of a threshold.  Home work is to study the components before asking to :-)

  The dice are the analog signal of 0 to 6.   He rounded to the whole number to provide the index number.  Power is the index number in the index table, the table being hard-coded text messages.

  Two additional indicators may be deleted, useful to see what is happening.

  And get rid of the value 0 if you want the text to match the number, he he he

• How do fill you a text field based on the entries in other text fields?

  I would like to be able to have a text field that fills as 'Full' or 'Incomplete' based on the question if all required fields have been filled or not.

  For example, if the "First Name", "Last Name" and "City" text fields are not filled, the text of "the State of completion" field displays 'Incomplete' and once they are filled, the text of "the State of completion" field will turn into "Complete".

  How can I do this using javascript? I searched the web for a tutorial, but most of the results seems to be focused on the menu drop-down.

  The displayed word is based on the totals through this range:

  1-2 = 'absorbing '.

  3-4 = 'practitioner '.

  The script I used to pass the value from the left to the right text box in the chart above is:

• How to print a text recognized only without the original images

  I have a scanned PDF with the text recognized by using tools-> Recognize text. But when you print, it remains impressions colors or levels of gray original, even if I want to print only the recognized text. How to do?

  Perhaps someone versed in Acrobat Javascript can build a script to provide a "programmatic."

  I think it would be a non-trival task and therefore not provided free of charge.

  Otherwise, the manual method would be necessary.

  Keep in mind that when ClearScan falls on an image of a character that he does not recognize (so not even a 'suspect' is available) the image of the characters leave as a bitmap image.

  When you slick "background" you can these slick (when present). Find in the printed output would be like finding the needle in a haystack.

  Losing a character can have significant negative implications depending on what is in the content (1.2 seconds becomes 12 seconds).

  The only way to ensure (100%) that what is printed is the scanned image is to print the scanned image.

  I have a Director with video qt project where are trigger actions based on specific times in the video (movietime and/or duration). I update this project in order to use flash instead of quicktime video.

  To facilitate the development and coding changes minimal if all goes well, I would like to keep this similar functionality, but I can't figure out how to capture the current image of the flash movie sprite.

  This assumes that the textfield object lives on the root timeline.  If that's not solve it, and you get an error message, include the error message in your ad.

• Is it possible to link an image resized without having adapt automatically to the original image?

  I have two Adobe illustrator images that are very similar, the first is 5 inches wide the second to replace is 3 inches. I just place and put the image in InDesign, but I had to change forms and thicknesses as certain proportions of the image would be just too small.

  When I create a link to the file it is changing the image to adapt the existing framework of the largest. Is it possible the file repeat keeping the content of the new file to 100%. I know that I can use the grabber content to see how the content has been developed on the scale and fix it, but it's not boring where you will need to select "adjust the framework to settle later. InDesign, AFAIK, does give no warning to tell you than an image when relinked has been stretched to fit the image.

  It is in the application, under file management preferences. Check or uncheck the box to preserve Image Dimensions when reissue of links. When checked, the relinked image will be adjusted to the same dimensions as the old version (possibly distorted). When not checked, the new image will come with the same scale as the original factor, that resembles what you want in this case for me but I am not sure (this is often true for .ai files where it is made a change that moves an element, that affect the bounding box art and you have trimmed to art or bounding box rather than media).

  Sometimes, if what you want is a 100% zoom it's just easier to put the new image on the editing table and place it in position, remove the old.

  To resize the box, double-click its icon of layer.

  The difference between a text box (aka paragraph Type) and a layer of Type normal, is that for the shape, select the text tool and click where you want the insertion point.  For the latter, you click and drag to make the type box.

  I have a header data block where I have a field to not enter the name of book and a REGD Item list that displays 'Yes' and ' ' and a text REG_NO element.

  When the user selects 'Yes', the text REG_NO element must be enabled so that the user can enter the number of the book.

  By choosing 'No', the REG_NO element must be disabled.

  I have included a trigger WHEN-LIST-CHANGED in the list REGD item.

  I added the following code in the trigger above:

  When you disable an item, NAVIGALE, INSERT_ALLOWED, and UPDATE_ALLOWED properties are also set to False, then you will need to reactivate their when you reactivate an item.

• Fill in a text box based on the list box selection?

  I'm relatively new to using scripts in forms.  So I hope that someone can help me here.

  I have a list box called 'Name', which uses the user selects a name.  I have a text box called "DOB", I need to be filled in automatically with the date of birth of the corresponding name that has been selected.

  I tried to adapt some scripts to fit my needs here, but nothing helps.  Although it seems like it should be pretty easy.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance for the answers.

  I have two columns of text created with tabs. I want to select the first column without selecting the second column (I want to format the first column differently). Hope it would be possible to drag a marquee on it and have it select but apparently not. Will do it line by line, but for later use, would like to know if there is a way.

  Creates the tabbed table text would allow you to do. It will give you much more control over the formatting as well.

  To change the text tabs in a table, select the text with tabs and choose table > convert text to table.

  I came across a problem recently. I wanted to be able to use drag - and list controls dropEnabled property and (on the same canvas) use the functionality of drag-and-drop automatic implemented other components (in this case, a combination of movable labels that can drag a group component). I wanted the labels to be moved in the entire screen, but only fall on the part of the Group (NOT the list). The items in the components list were supposed to be interchangeable between the lists in the set of properties dragEnabled and dropEnabled to true. The problem is that when I drag the labels of the groups on the lists a null #1009 object reference error is thrown because the list does not try to calculate the index fall for labels. I know that I could work around the problem by setting dropEnabled = false on the lists and implement drag - move by hand, but I hope that both variants of drag-and-drop coexist in a spirit of flexibility.

  When you delete something on a spark list you will need to provide a dragSource not null in the format 'itemsByIndex', if you change your code to something like this, it should work:
