I am a webmaster for a non-profit, 501 c 3 organization. I managed to get a (educational) license non-profit for Acrobat Pro XI, some time ago, but the PC has spent since then, taking his information with her, unfortunately. How can I restore Acrobat Pro XI on my new PC?
I am also interested in getting some kind of equivalent license for standalone applications (not CC), or something similar to your previous suites of e-learning. My company (Gilbert & Sullivan Light Opera Company of Long Island) cannot afford to pay the monthly fee for cc licenses and prefer something I can download and use on my PC.
There are two addresses of email related to my account: [email protected] and [email protected] .
I hope I can get support or useful information on this subject.
Thanks in advance,
Andrew Schwartz

I don't really like the look-and-feel of the new pdf.js Viewer. On my machine (6 yr old HP running Windows XP with sp 3) it displays more slowly than Acrobat Reader, and I was perfectly happy with the Acrobat Reader plugin. Frankly, I want to disable pdf.js, but have not been able to find a way to do it. It does not appear anywhere that I could find the Add-ons Manager. I don't want to be forced to use a feature that seems to be a detriment to performance, at least for me. Mozilla, please review this!
You can set the pref pdfjs.disabled true on the topic: config page to disable the build-in the PDF Viewer and use the Adobe Reader software instead.

Cannot restore Acrobat Pro XI as default application
CD player took over as default application for .pdf files and I can not reset to Acrobat Pro XI. I tried with "open with...". "and"Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Default Programs\Set Associations"but CD player persists. I did not knowingly install CD and do not know how she took the default association. Windows 10. I always had the Reader and Acrobat installed without any previous problems.
Hi rogerh28550581,
Open Acrobat XI, go to the Edit-> Preferences-> general categories & click 'select default manager PDF'.

I need to go back to acrobat pro xi
This "update" and the "complete reinvents ' which calls Adobe Acrobat Pro DC is a complete failure, in many levels (not clear where are edges of paper against a background in tools that have been hidden, inability to 'lock' the interface into something that works really, etc..). It is obviously not designed for anyone who needs to get the real work done. I tried several times to return to Acrobat Pro XI and have been satisfied with the request for a serial number (don't think I've ever had one of these for CC...?) and so on. With the growing negative comments appear on Reddit and other places, Adobe needs to display clear instructions and links on how to restore Acrobat Pro XI so those who need to get the real work done can actually do (as opposed to 'imaginary' ideas Adobe work and users).
Please see the help document:

Acrobat Reader DC asked me if I want to revert to the version with the comments at the start. I hit not by accident.

Thanks for your help.

Hi marcelf94056282 ,
Here to inform that when once with changes in the document are not save & that you clicked 'no' option later, there is no possible way to restore any changes made.
Kind regards

I'm trying to install Acrobat 8 Std on a laptop computer that was in need of a restoration. He asks the file AdobePDF.dll since my Vista CD - I do not have. How can I get this file or another which will allow my Acrobat 8 work on this laptop with Win 8.1, which she did before restoring?
John,
AdobePDF.dll is in the file Data1.cab. Mine is located in C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat8\Adobe Acrobat 8 Professional\ You need to extract the file "AdobePDF.dll_64" from the .cab file. You can do this with WinZip or 7-Zip. Everything you need to extract is this file, nothing else... Once you have extracted it, remove the _64, so the name of the file is AdobePDF.dll. Then place the file in any location you want and run the program it when asked. For a file location, I suggest to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Acrobat8\
Hope that helps.

Restore a previous version of acrobat on my mobile [Android]
Recently, Acrobat DC appeared on my Galaxy Note (the first in the series Galaxy Note). I've probably updated to her. A lot, I prefer my previous version of acrobat file management system and I would come back. I can do this (not sure what version it was)?
We actively strive to restore the previous function. You can see in one of our future releases.
Thank you.

I have a fully registered Acrobat 8 pro used on WinVista computer used to help run the control documents for the association of volunteers of the owner. I somehow lost the ability to access the pages of thumbnails (and editing capabilities) that occurred when the software was launched. To place an icon of the former, I have now an order of the layer that does not perform the same function.
Can someone tell me please how to restore the original capacity? Thank you.
Try this, as shown in this picture:
I hope this helps.

A run the system restore, and now my Adobe Acrobat license has exceeded its limit
I tried to restore computer because of a corrupted installation and it deleted Adobe Acrobat, since the system restore did not work, I have reinstalled the operating system, corrected and then installed Adobe Acrobat Professional of XI, entered my license and it comes up with amounts excesses of this license. I would just get the license reactivated. Any help would be appreciated. I tried to call and Adobe is closed on weekends, cat I tried but nobody came online in some time so now, try the forums as they are 24/7.
Thank you-
Jake
You need to talk to Adobe, not users on the forums, because only Adobe can reactivate something on their end. I guess the numbers increase during the work week.

How can I get my name back in there for a signature
Hello
Hello
If you are not able to reinstall the drive, you might check out the following link to do the same thing.
Adobe - Adobe Acrobat Reader DC Distribution
For steps on how to electronically sign PDF', please see this link.
https://helpx.Adobe.com/reader/using/sign-PDFs.html
Electronic signatures are automatically saved. You can choose from there and place it on the document.
In case you have lost it, you can type it in again. It ' an easy method.
