  • Messages deleted from my iPhone always appear on my Apple Watch

If I delete messages from my iPhone why always appear on my Apple Watch?

    Hello

Delete the message in the Messages application is not synchronized between Apple devices, including the iPhone and Apple Watch.

Messages must on the contrary be deleted separately on each device.

  • All my messages on my iPhone were mysteriously deleted after I restarted - is it possible to sync my old backup iPhone with my iMessages on my Mac?

    Hello!

This past weekend, I noticed that my Messages app acted strangely on my iPhone 6. Accordingly, I turned and turn it on again and noticed that all of my posts have disappeared. I then did a hard reset and turned on - still no messages.

I have my settings to keep my messages forever, what really saddened me to see all of my messages disappeared. In any case, I'm about to restore my backup iPhone on a new phone (6 s). Luckily, I backed up my phone the week last before my messages disappearing.

I understand that when I restore a backup, everything that happened on my phone since will not appear. However, I have also the Messages on my MacBook Air app, when kept all my messages before and after the mysterious disappearance on my phone. Once I have perform this restore, I was wondering if it is possible to synchronize in any post-restore on my laptop to my phone messages.

    Thank you!

    Hi masizh,

Congratulations on your new iPhone 6 s! I understand that you want to synchronize the restoration of post messages on your Mac Messages app to your iPhone 6 s. If these are the iMessages, your new device needs to load the entire conversation once you send or receive an iMessage from the recipient. SMS messages may not work in the same way, however, you can contact your operator for support with text messages.

To continue to have your Mac with your iPhone SMS sync, don't forget to implement continuity with your new device.

If you have an iPhone, the SMS that you send and receive on your iPhone may appear on your Mac, iPad, and iPod touch as well. You can then continue the conversation from any device is closer to you.

Set up SMS and MMS messaging

Use this feature with any Mac, iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch that satisfies the requirements of continuity system. Make sure that your devices are configured as follows:

    • Each device is connected to iCloud with the same Apple ID.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > Send and receive. Make sure the Apple ID at the top of the screen is the same Apple ID you use for iMessage on other devices. Add a check to your address, phone number, so that you can be reached by both iMessage. Do the same on your iPad or iPod touch.
    • On iPhone, go to settings > Messages > transfer, text messages, then choose which devices to send and receive text messages from the iPhone. A verification code and then on each device. Enter this code on your iPhone.
    • On Mac, open Messages, and then choose message > Preferences. Click accounts, and then select your account from iMessage. Make sure the Apple ID shown here is the same Apple ID you use on other devices. Add a control to your phone number and email address.

Use the SMS and MMS messaging

To use this feature, simply start conversations as usual in the Messages application on any of your devices. Alternatively, you can start a conversation by clicking a phone number in Safari, Contacts, calendar, or other applications detecting phone numbers. All your incoming and outgoing messages on all your devices.

Please use the Apple Support communities to post your question. Enjoy your new iPhone!

  • Need HELP Please, my messages deleted at random, how can I get back them?

Hey guys, sorry to be a bother, but my messages on my iphone 5s have deleted randomly and I'm trying to get back them. I was going through and the removal of some conversations, when my phone started to work very slowly. then when I open any conversation, he would present, one last message. soon enough, all my deleted random conversations. No, I have not to press the button 'clear all '. I know that for a fact.

When I go into the configuration of my phone application, manage settings/general/storage/storage/messages, it says that my messages are taking up to 2.4 GB. When I click on it, I see 'messages' (recorded) 2.4 GB. that means, apparently, these messages are still alive somewhere? But how to get there?

I did some research and I can't find a way to get these messages. like anyone else, I have important information in my posts, things recorded with personal significance. I did not support my phone to a computer in a few months, so this isn't an option for me. I don't know if I trust of third-party software, but I'm willing to try.

any kind of help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Marissa

Bad luck. Messages have disappeared. There is no way to recover them. Assuming that you did not have iCloud backups enabled which will automatically save every night when the phone is connected to the power and WiFi, that is. You might want to consider in the future.

  • Restore Messages to keep iPhone

I want to reset my iPhone but I want to try to save all my messages. Is this possible? If they are stored in the cloud?

    Hi Saintbrenards,

I understand that you do not want to reset your iPhone, but you do not want to save your messages. Someone on the forum mentioned that f you have a Mac running Yosemite or higher and you have activated the SMS transfer SMS and iMessages will automatically be in the Messages on your Mac application. Your messages are stored in iCloud and iTunes backups, but there are two drawbacks:

    • If your iPhone is lost or dies you will be able to retrieve messages on a new reset iPhone iPhone/bought
    • Only current SMS and iMessages are backed up. Manual removal of messages on your iPhone will remove them the backup off.

I hope I helped answer your question today and if you have any other questions - please do not hesitate to ask!

  • Can I retrieve a deleted document after emptying the Recycle Bin?

Can I retrieve a deleted document after emptying the Recycle Bin?

If you have Vista Business, Vista Ultimate or Vista Enterprise, you can be lucky.  They have so-called saves shadow copies, which are deleted or modified files that can be recovered in case changes/deletions made by mistake.  http://www.Microsoft.com/Windows/Windows-Vista/features/shadow-copy.aspx more information about how to use this feature to: http://blogs.techrepublic.com.com/howdoi/?p=145.

If you have Vista Basic or Premium of Vista, shadow copies is not available; However, there is an alternative that is free and the shadow copies feature called Shadow Explorer. http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/windows-vista/recover-files-with-shadow-copies-on-any-version-of-windows-vista/.  Although it will not help you this time, it could very well save you in case this happens again.

In case this does not work (not all files are available through shadow - it occurs periodically), here are some additional free recovery programs that might help:

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/freeware/system/fwdatarecovery.html (first try Recuva)

http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/DiskDigger.html (try this second - if it still doesn't work the chances of recovery are very slim, but we invite you to try the other options to see if they work better)

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/easusdfr.html

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/get/restoration.html

    http://www.SnapFiles.com/downloads/Recuva/dlrecuva.html

    http://www.SoftPerfect.com/products/FileRecovery/

    http://techpaul.WordPress.com/2008/06/23/how-to-recover-your-lost-files/

The files are not really deleted until they are crushed (although they are no longer available through conventional methods).  If you decide to try these recovery programs, you should stop using your drive hard immediately in order not to replace the data that you are trying to recover.  He slave on another PC and launch the recovery of this PC.  Even now you have definitely lost some of them if you use the same PC.  If you can not do this (slave on another PC), you run the risk of overwriting the data with every action you do on the PC (but you may still be able to recover some or most or even all files - it's a matter of luck).

Only you can decide if the data is important enough to take the PC to an expert data recovery to recover files (they will have better programs and hardware to do that none of us do, and I've provided above).  Do NOT go to the Geek Squad or one of these centers of store-, they generally don't know what they are doing - it take for expert data recovery.  It will cost you a little and they generally offer no guarantees.  The decision is yours.

Good luck and I hope this helps!

  • How to transfer your messages to the iPhone 6 for macbook

GGetting a new iPhone would like to keep the messages from the old iPhone 6 on my MacBook. How do you download messages from the iPhone to MacBook.

    You do not have.

The messages are only "moved" via a backup and restore. You cannot back up a phone and restore it on a Macbook.

The 'sync' messages in the future, is to connect to Messages on the macbook with the same Apple ID on your phone. Now all messages will be received by the phone and Macbook.

For your old messages, you will need to copy and paste into emails or Notes and sync them to your Macbook.

  • I restored a few messages deleted from the Recycle Bin, but they do not appear in the original folder.

I accidentally put the retention policy of 30 days for the wrong file, including over 1000 deleted messages. I found the messages in the trash and returned in the original folder, but all do they not appear. I immediately made a copy of the file folder in my profile, and if I look at this file, I see the missing messages. I tried to rebuild the .msf associated file and by removing the .msf file, but the messages are not displayed. How to restore access to these messages in Thunderbird? Reconstruction of the index of global data will correct this?

If anyone is interested, I was able to restore the missing files by editing the X-Mozilla-Status codes in the file in the folder. Bit 0 x 0008 flags every message deleted. I was able to do a search/replace global for each code containing this bit in Notepad to get Thunderbird for re - index deleted messages. Of course, you'll want to do this on a copy of the affected file and keep a backup while you make the changes, just in case. Oh and do not compact your messages until you make sure that it worked.

  • Lost 9000 pictures after turning on the library of pictures of clouds and deleting on iphone. How do I get back them?

    Hi all

I have 9000 photos on my iphone 5 s and they are all backed up on my iMac. Tried to transfer pictures 9000 for external hard drive, but took time and never managed (crashes).

Vacation time comes, should as much space on my iphone to take pictures. Think maybe iCloud will be useful. Subscribe to greater ability to iCloud, turned on iCloud photo library on iMac and initiated to iCloud. Never finished. Maybe it's 12-13 June 2016. Then on the last night before departure holiday, maybe 16 June, decided to remove thousands of photos from my iphone in order to free up as much space as possible so that I can take a lot of pictures during the holidays.

I took pictures of 1900 during the holidays.

Returned home, turned on my iMac, see notes on iCloud saying Download 9000 pictures not completed. To be completed July 12.

Today, to my horror, I found that iCloud has only 1900 photos from my vacation. And pictures of 9000 before the holidays went - not on my iMac photo app and not on iCloud (deleted on iPhone, but never expected copies on iMac to be gone too and thought iCloud would have some of them).

Please help, it of all within 30 days or more - need the pictures back. My life in there somehow.

    Thank you and best regards.

Then on the last night before departure holiday, maybe 16 June, decided to remove thousands of photos from my iphone in order to free up as much space as possible so that I can take a lot of pictures during the holidays.

    That's the problem.

If you delete photos from your iPhone while you use iCloud photo library on the iPhone, the photos will be deleted icloud photo library and all devices sync with iCloud photo library. It's a synchronization service and not an external storage. ICloud library aims to keep libraries on all perfectly synchronized devices. Any photo that you import syncs to all devices, and any photo that you delete on any device in iCloud and all other devices are removed.

Try to restore the photos on your iMac since the last backup of the Mac you made before you deleted pictures from your iPhone.

The pictures have been completely removed, or are they still in your recently deleted album?  This album will keep the photos for 30 days, if empty you not prematurely.

I have two email addresses different I want to retrieve messages from. So the main/default one works perfectly. But this other appear on the start page and still when I get Mail, it brings only in the mail from the default. Then what should I do?

No Menu bar? Press the ALT key.

Check the settings > sounds > text tones and make sure that the sound has not changed. Also, try a forced reboot. Hold down the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons at the same time for about 15 seconds, until the Apple logo appears. You won't lose anything.
