• HOW TO REMOVE THE NAVIGATION BUTTONS AND ICONS IN THE HOME SCREEN IN FF13

  The new version of Firefox 13.0 has just installed and I find the icons and the navigation buttons on the homescreen annoying and distracting and I want to remove them and leave everything else as is. Is there a way to do this easily? Thanks for the help.

• Help re - bind the Navigation buttons

  I have Adobe Flash CS3 Pro.

  I have a header navigation file supplied with my flash Web site template and I find it difficult to make sense of the actionscript. It has a logo with effects, 5 buttons main nav that move and two additional link above the navigation bar buttons. For now, let's focus on all the Navigation buttons. Here's what I've collected. I have several buttons text on a movieclip, and I successfully edited the text for each button. If I look at the actionscript code in the top layer of this movieclip I see:

  I also have a movieclip symbol separated (with effects) with 5 layers of buttons listed in the actionscript code with the following actionscript code associated with each key of numbers from 1 to 5:

  Now, my Web site template came with pages of html 5 that my flash navigation buttons are: (index.html, 1.html - index, index - 2.html, index - 3.html, index - 4.html, index - 5.html). My problem is that I created a new page (index.html, about.html, featured.html, projects.html, contact.html). I wish all 5 buttons to match these pages, not existing pages of standard "index - tswan.html.

  In addition, this probably isn't relevant, but each html page has something to that effect so I can see how they correspond to each button.

  I guess my real question is: what actionscript should I update or delete the nav button LINKS to work with my new html rather than the pages of index pages - tswan.html 5 standard he wants automatically a link to?

  When I try and add a "getURL" command to each of the 5 buttons and test to preview the film, the links work, but it messes up the effects of the movieclip. In other words, the buttons do not move, they are immobile, but the links work. If I added this command to each key somehow, what actionscript would I need remove so there are no complications? I need help expertise here because it would be much appreciated. I am a novice with Flash script and its killing me that I can't understand it. I asked for assistance in support of the model and all they came back with the following message, it was, and it was not helpful:

  Can I make the code see you now, it's an approach I've seen somewhat regularly for AS1/2 designs.  These "num" values that specifies the html pages that are linked.  Each button is assigned a value of num, in your case 1 to 5.

  Based on the line of code...

  getURL ("index-" + Number(num-1) + ".html");

  I think that your header links pages were named index - 1.html thru index - 4.html.  If you can see why I say that there is hope, that you can fix yourself.

  If you want to bind the new pages you either must name them agree with this convention, sense rename index about.html - 1.html, rename featured.html index - 2.html, etc... or change the way the values num are defined or updated profit.

  My admittedly crude site takes shape, but when I roll over the navigation buttons (which you do not yet have real links), the type of police seems to change to "BOLD" and the button changes size to accommodate larger police.

  Where is the Retake Quiz button on the result page of the quiz that is supposed to run the user when he clicks on it?  I wish I could change the result of this button to access a specific page.  Currently, it seems to direct them to a page that is a few slides before my quiz, but has nothing to do with the quiz.  I have no idea why it does not there or how to change the navigation for her.

  If you allow moving backward in Quiz preferences, Yes, user will be able to move in the range Quiz. Might suggest to view the playback on the content slides bar, so that the user can skip certain slides quickly and then hide it when you go behind the scenes of the real question.

  I managed to create a reusable toolbar following the instructions of the angle of the ADF.

  Hello Andrea,

  Creating component declarative, create attributes w for your component called "FirstEnabledAttr", "LastEnabledAttr" (like you how to create methods to handle the navigation). Now for the first button and the last button in the toolbar of the dc set the Disable property to #{attr. FirstEnabledAttr} and #{attr. LastEnableAttr}

  Recompile and redeploy your jar file.

  Now, in the project where you access this component, you can find the newly created 2 attributes added. Set

   #{!bindings.First.enabled}
  

  for FirstEnabledAttr and LastEnabledAttr together.

   #{!bindings.Last.enabled}

• Event of exit/close application trap on exit/return of the device button

  I developed an application in Sib. I want to intercept the output/closing event of the request so that I can ask the user for the confirmation message.

  It may happen that the user will click the back button on the BB device accidentally. If I don't want it of happen and will show the confirmation message.

  There are a variety of ways that you can incorporate it, but I don't know of a hook that will let do it without changing your code.

  The following suggestions can help you change your code.

  (1) If your application has a home screen, i.e. that it all comes down, then override the close() method and replace with your dialogue.  If the user wants to get out, then call super.close ().

  (2) If you have several places that emit the system.exit(), replace it with a call to your own method of "release manager", that shows the same dialog and emits only the system.exit() if confirmed.

• Start button returns to the grey button (and other oddities of the taskbar)

  The Start button on my Windows 7 taskbar occasionally (as in, ~ every hour or two) past the Windows ORB with a touch of gray with the word 'Start '.

  

  This usually coincides with another strange in the toolbar behavior, such as the icons of the application not responding not to the mouse, not leaving the task bar (the icon will be highlighted as the mouse is always above the icon).

  Restart Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) temporarily solves the problem, but it will reappear over time.

  It was clear that some third party software causes this problem. Then, you disabled the services of boot, goto the same configuration window and select the services that you have disabled, one by one, to determine exactly the service that is causing the problem. Remember, Veuileez restart the PC for each service that you select.

  This will let you know the service that is causing the problem, and if this service is not so important, you can disable the service permanently.

• Disappearance of the Navigation buttons

  I added a few keys customized on my skin to replace the current buttons previous and next in the arrow bar. For some reason, they do not display. They have the same size as all of my other buttons, and they all posted without incident.

  When I generate, I chose "Manually" in the section 'Syncronize Table of contents' properties, hoping that would help but no luck. These just arrows will not be displayed. Any ideas?

• When I type on a website and press return backwards, the Navigator the Treaty as a "back" button. I would like to disable this feature.

  My page scrolls automatically sometimes and I have to click on in the block cursor in order to continue typing.
  I use Linux Mint 15 and a HP 2000 laptop with a touchscreen tablet. I chose Linux option to disable the touchpad while typing, but this has not solved the problem.

• DROID FRG22D delay after the return or the "home" button pressed

  Anyone else see this problem - started for me 1-2 weeks ago? I have never rooted - just stock.

  To use the soft TOP, I see that the CPU is maxed out on a couple of different process-

  com Android.Launcher and I see dozens of processes called kcryptd, kcryptd_io and loop1 by loop49

  If takes about 25 seconds on my home screen to display the icons in the opposite case he has the background, but nothing else and about 33 seconds after each time the House or search key until CPU levels return to normal.   Restorer of classic theme does not solve the problem. Mozilla is usually so good at the test users, it was a real blunder.

  I've got some scenarios with options of branches. They were not originally intended to be a quiz so I built each by a simple click boxes (which was easier - I hate fighting with slides of questionnaire). But now the SME wants to follow learners options to choose, so I tried to fix to be included in the questionnaire and named the Interaction ID like something recognizable when you view the data of cmi.interactions SCORM.

  Actually, it seems to work EXCEPT it kills my ' back' button (a custom button with a simple jump to prev slide), which is bad. Any ideas? I'm ready to rebuild with the help of a questionnaire slide but I'm not happy about it. There are other situations where I wanted to have a clickable random on a non-quiz slide included in the questionnaire, but I have found this same behavior and just worked around him then.   Would it not possible on the next version of first (and AfterEffects) to have buttons to scroll forward and backward? Looks like a really basic thing and I guess that's probably owner to other software systems. But if you could add these functions it would really help a precise scrolling (ideally also by playing the timeline). The bar existing / zoom controller is too unpredictable... Guard to fly too far away and loses focus on CTL.

  You can also find useful keyboard shortcuts:

  Page Down = display the following (right rolls)

  Page Up = previous screen Show (rolls from left drawings)

  Unfortunately, the width of the scroll bar does not exactly match the width of the screen (i.e. the visible space of the Timeline), what would be really useful (as you noted).  Thus, sound click and drag to the right or the left to be done by slices that are about 1/5 of the overall width of the scrollbar (rather than the entire width of the scroll bar) to get the next or previous screen.
