Return to the Navigation of the Quiz button

Where is the Retake Quiz button on the result page of the quiz that is supposed to run the user when he clicks on it?  I wish I could change the result of this button to access a specific page.  Currently, it seems to direct them to a page that is a few slides before my quiz, but has nothing to do with the quiz.  I have no idea why it does not there or how to change the navigation for her.

Thank you!

David

If you allow moving backward in Quiz preferences, Yes, user will be able to move in the range Quiz. Might suggest to view the playback on the content slides bar, so that the user can skip certain slides quickly and then hide it when you go behind the scenes of the real question.

  • Content slides recursive Quiz jumps (return to the quiz) - Captivate 8

Captivate 8 we have created a simple course with 2 slides of quiz. All the quiz slides are recursive (with a wrong answer jump us to the content slide and return to the quiz). We noticed that when see us a preview of the content, the course jumps 2 content unrelated to the quiz slides. It is strange that they are not hidden and have no action on entry or exit. Not sure why they would be ignored.

    The course looks like

    Don't slide 1 - content - no action on the input/output

Slide 2 - content -no action on input/output

Slide 3 - content - return to the quiz

Slide 4 - content -no action on input/output

Slide 5 - content -no action on input/output

Slide 6 - content -return to the quiz

Slide 7 - content -no action on input/output

    Slide 8 - quiz - jump 2

    Slide 9 - quiz - 6 jumping

So as you can see slide 8 refers the user to slide 2 and 3 review the content then returns to the quiz slide 8. Slide 9 refers users to slide 6 for content and then returns the user to the quiz on slide 9. What we are seeing is that when previewing the course (via Preview in the toolbar) the course ignore the slide 4 & 5.   It's strange. It ignores slide 4 & 5 the first time (before triggering the jump in function of sliding). If we do not know what is happening here. Can anyone offer some advice on how to fix this?

There are a lot of options under the Preview button, the first "play Slide" is not even a glimpse. What did you use?

The Exit event is not not to be trusted at all. You must use clean because it is intended to be used: a button with dual functionality. Coming from a Question slide that he will return to the question slide, if not it's a normal next button.

  • How can I make the quiz button download the image appear?

    Hello.

I am trying to replace the button 'Submit' I use in a quiz, but the button to download a new button does not appear. Here is a screenshot so you can see what I mean:

    Untitled-1 copy.jpg

The button normally appear to the right of the drop down list 'Button Type', but is no longer. I tried the following hotfixes, which none have worked:

    -Resizing of the window

    -Closing and reopening of Captivate

    -Clear cache project

    -Remove temporary files

    -Deletion of the folder, preferably

Any thoughts on what I can do? Because there is a "submit" button quiz, I'm unable to download the button image and use a place-clickbox.

    I use 7 Captivate.

    Thank you.

The Send button is an embedded object (has no separate scenario) all quiz slides, the most important of them because you should never delete to avoid the screwing of the functionality of the Question slides.

You don't say HOW you tried to achieve this goal? You can check the style of the buttons of the Quiz in the Style of the object manager?

Another solution would be to use an image and do the quiz button style so that it is invisible (no label, no fill, no stroke). To output SWF button will remain active.

  • CP 8.01 - hide button submit upon return to the Quiz slide

    Hello

After answering a quiz and return to the slide even afterwards, the Send button is always present but disabled. I want her to be removed/hidden completely since IMO, I don't think that you must display it once you have answered the question. Is there a way to do this?

    David

Captivate provides no way to do this. You cannot hide the button submit another object either.

  • Introduce the button disappears when you return to the quiz slide

    Hello world

We have just improved Captivate 4.0 to 5.5. I teach to 5.5 differences between 4.0 and one that I can't understand.

On quiz slides, if the learner move previous and next in quiz slides, buttons quizzes are fine. However, be they click on slide 1 quiz, then advance to the quiz slide the submit button flashes and then disappears for this slide and all other quiz slides. I can't find a setting to fix this.

Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

Sounds like a problem of scope of quiz.  If you click on the first slide of quiz that would take you to the slide BEFORE the first slide of questionnaire which is technically outside the scope of quiz.  This generally means locking Captivate quiz.

I didn't know personally this Act of disappearance of button, but you can check if the scope of the quiz is the likely culprit by adding an a received, click Inbox in the first slide of the project, which will then extend the scope of a quiz on this slide.  If this prevents your quiz slide buttons from being endangered, we know the problem.  Which may mean that you have always found a bug that needs to be fixed though.

  • Event of exit/close application trap on exit/return of the device button

I developed an application in Sib. I want to intercept the output/closing event of the request so that I can ask the user for the confirmation message.

It may happen that the user will click the back button on the BB device accidentally. If I don't want it of happen and will show the confirmation message.

There are a variety of ways that you can incorporate it, but I don't know of a hook that will let do it without changing your code.

The following suggestions can help you change your code.

    (1) If your application has a home screen, i.e. that it all comes down, then override the close() method and replace with your dialogue.  If the user wants to get out, then call super.close ().

    (2) If you have several places that emit the system.exit(), replace it with a call to your own method of "release manager", that shows the same dialog and emits only the system.exit() if confirmed.

  • Start button returns to the grey button (and other oddities of the taskbar)

The Start button on my Windows 7 taskbar occasionally (as in, ~ every hour or two) past the Windows ORB with a touch of gray with the word 'Start '.

This usually coincides with another strange in the toolbar behavior, such as the icons of the application not responding not to the mouse, not leaving the task bar (the icon will be highlighted as the mouse is always above the icon).

Restart Windows Explorer (explorer.exe) temporarily solves the problem, but it will reappear over time.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

It was clear that some third party software causes this problem. Then, you disabled the services of boot, goto the same configuration window and select the services that you have disabled, one by one, to determine exactly the service that is causing the problem. Remember, Veuileez restart the PC for each service that you select.

This will let you know the service that is causing the problem, and if this service is not so important, you can disable the service permanently.

  • DROID FRG22D delay after the return or the "home" button pressed

Anyone else see this problem - started for me 1-2 weeks ago? I have never rooted - just stock.

To use the soft TOP, I see that the CPU is maxed out on a couple of different process-

com Android.Launcher and I see dozens of processes called kcryptd, kcryptd_io and loop1 by loop49

If takes about 25 seconds on my home screen to display the icons in the opposite case he has the background, but nothing else and about 33 seconds after each time the House or search key until CPU levels return to normal. Most of the time a restart of the phone does not help. The phone includes works normally otherwise and applications running well - the problem only occurs after you press back or home buttons.

Do a factory reset. This will clean the Junk installs. When you reconnect, go to settins immediately and turn on wifi, then go have a sandwich or something and let your apps repopulate. Launcher Pro and ADW Launcher have the ability to keep the House in memory. I find Launcher Pro a little more stable in this regaurd. The essential is to free memory, but without a custom rom, you will find VERY few applications that will store for SD. Custom roms can override this default, but void you your warranty with this approach, then it AYOR. Droid 2 and X both has a distinctly more native memory and motorcycle would certainly prefer that you explore THIS option. I intend to get my money's worth out of my Droid.

  • Captivate 8, why the back of sanitation to the quiz action take back me to the quiz when I want to just go to the next slide?

I use in my course on the user get a question wrong sanitation. This part works, however, when I want to just sail the course before taking the quiz, I'm back to the quiz before even I got to the course quiz section. It makes no sense to a user. Any one fixed this problem or there at - it

Basically, when a user gets an answer wrong they click anywhere on the screen and is taken to a slide in the course of reviewing the information described in the quiz.

The user is then able to return to the quiz by clicking on the button continue.

    Help, please

I think that indeed to be the reason. You will be in Quiz carried almost all the slides, and the capability to return to a question with the following button slide is certainly linked to the scope of Quiz. It was my first "intuition".

Most of the new features of quiz is designed with a case of use quite limited in mind. This is the case for all the, pre-test and remediation issues.  And it is often the team Adobe assumes that all questions on the test are set at the beginning of the file, all normal questions are set at the end of the file. And I'm perfectly aware that this is rarely the case for real projects. For this reason, personally, I would avoid these features in most of the projects. One that works very well as far as I KNOW is branch up-to-date, to create system variables Dynamics quiz. And in some cases, I really appreciate the rating partial and even sentence (too bad it is only limited to the MCQ type). I will often use workarounds for other features. More work, but more control.

  • How to shift the quiz questions?

Thanks in advance once again. I try, as part of a compliance training necessary and at the request of my superiors, place a quiz after each slide content. I am now actually check if answer correctly to the question, and if so, they move, but if they fail, they will eventually return to the last content slide to examine. My problem is that when they continue after getting a question of law, rather than to the next content slide, the next slide in quiz rises. I can't seem to figure out how to make sure that Captivate goes into the order of the slides and not just send somebody through questions from the quiz at the same time. Ideas?

Since you are using the function of rehabilitation, I don't think that you need to bother with a tip action? If you choose the jump (first content slide) as default action and set the action on the next button on the last slide of content as "return to the Quiz? Could you try that?

  • Preloads the Radio button States

I have a multiple choice quiz that uses radio buttons for users to choose a response from A to D. It tells you if you are correct or not, and allows you to progress when you give the right answer. The answers are stored in an external database. I remember the latter on the loading module in variables, but I need to know how to use the variable automatically check the correct in each question when a user returns in the quiz. So, they can see their previous answers because these boxes are automatically checked.

Can someone help me to do this? I can't make it work.

  • How can I erase an answer to the Quiz on the entry of the slide?

Hey guys, thanks in advance. Through training, we must have a quiz after each slide teaching and should the learner not answering the question correctly, they want to be "punted" returned in the teaching slide before the question failed. I worked that very well just by using a simple advance action that works at the entrance of the cylinder head on the issue failed, and checks if the question was answered correctly. However, when I found the punting occurs when a learner is the issue, they failed before... the answer is always presented in the previous attempt and it will leave no learner change the answer. I wish I could have the answer to the question deleted upon entry, but I'm not sure how to do this, any ideas?

You must use the return to competition of Quiz. This will give your username when they jumped another free additional attempt the quiz question to him. There is information in the help files on how to put in place.  Search for restoration and return to the Quiz.

  • Captivate 8 button Retake Quiz - return to the slide of the wrong question

    Hello

I have not yet fixed my problem of button retake quiz. I have a project with several questions of practices not classified (hot spot, drag n drop, 2 several multiple choice answers) followed by 9 questions 'real' test. I want students to return 'true' test questions when they click on the recovery test button. Now, the recovery quiz button brings back me to the first multiple choice question in the practical section - not the first 'real' test question.

In the Interactions for the first multiple choice question (and the 2nd as well), I see that nothing appears in the neck to include in the questionnaire and responses report = no, but an entry appears in Objective ID and ID of Interaction. I don't see this credential anywhere in the QUIZ tab - I wonder if this is what pushed the button quiz in this slide.

    Attempt to correct:

I saw the response of Lilybiri to "Captivate 8 resume Quiz" entry. It seemed like the perfect solution to my problem. So I created an Action conditional Advanced:

If cpQuizInfoAttempts is greater than 1 go to (1 'real' test slide #) continue on the other

The 'real' 1 slide test I put this conditional action on enter.

It did not work. Please help me determine what I am doing wrong and how to fix this quiz of recovery. THANK YOU VERY MUCH! I'm getting desperate!

    Smiles

    Susann

You must have read my response wrong. Condition is OK, but you have to trigger on enter for the first issue of practice, not on the first slide of the real issue. As the recovery button will take the user to the first practical question slide, this action will be evaluated and the jump to the first slide of the real question occur. Assumed, here are that all the slides in practice before all the question slides.
