  If you want to create a BlackBerry ID then first a full backup of your device, including your BBM contacts, when it is finished, you can create a new BlackBerry ID after that restore your data these sauvegardΘ. For more information follow this on how to make a backup:

  My convenience key is set to 'Messages' so I can quickly get to my email.  On my old 8830 it also showed me my messages SMS - which was great.  On my 8830, if I felt the phone vibrates, I could go straight to the SMS element through the convenience key.

  If go to your messages, and then click the options button and goto blackberry-> General options, change "SMS and Email Inboxes" of the "Theme" controlled "handset."  That should do the trick for you...

  This is unfortunately true.  If you have att/tmo, you can switch between them in "Unlocking" the device that they use the same technology (gsm), but there is no such possibility to do this with cdma (sprint / vzw / alltel) networks.

  Select the ringtone on the PC, you will get a dialog box open or save the file.

  Save the file. Close the connection. Right click on the file on the PC and send it to an email address on the BB.

  OR you can connect from your BlackBerry to the icon "personal e-mail Configuration.

  2. click on 'Edit' next to the email to which account you want to change (or remove) the signature.

  3. where it says "signature", delete all the text if you don't want ANY signature, or change view you prefer instead of "sent from my BlackBerry... »

  4. click on SAVE.

  Yep, change of language will not change the keyboard layout, and switching of the keyboard will not make a difference either. The QWERTZ keyboard is hardcoded for the firmware and cannot be modified by an installation of the OS.

  Sounds, on some devices (or profiles) > scroll to advanced to change profiles.

  Press Menu > edit profile you want to change.

  Scroll to SMS and set the vibration there.

  The other day that I woke up literally with a few new text messages that I only found now texting the same people. Apparently, I got these messages, but the envelope icon was always white next to the unread messages. Since then, whenever I receive a new text message, my phone sounds like it should, my light flashes red but still no yellow envelope or the number of unread messages red GOLD star on sms folder. If I score no read manually I get very least the Red Star (which is normal). E V E R Y T H I N G else works fine including the BBM and emails.

  I've tried resets many hard, pull the battery, I even turned on my phone without the SIM inside. I even deleted the most recent application, I've updated. Tried a different theme, removed this theme... etc. I was on google for most of my time at work even the past 2 days and still no luck.

  I have not controlled and checked the show new message indicator, but also deactivated and reactivated the number of messages (note the order).

  Help, please!
