Rotating multiple .pdfs both

I've got about 2000 pdf files that need to be turned. As I really would rather not sit at my desk and each individually I'm looking for a way to make them all at once.

The only condition is that pdf files NEED to have the same file name and the path they did before the rotation. Each pdf is linked to a database to change the names of file mess my VBA code big time!

Surely, there must be a simple way to do what I can not just spot me!

Any thoughts welcome!

Thank you guys!

If you have Acrobat Pro you can do in a batch sequence (Advanced menu, Document Processing, batch...).

  • Rotate multiple pdf/a using Adobe Acrobat Pro files

I have about 100 pdf files that I need to rotate to the left by 90 degrees.  I assume that many, if not all of them are stored in PDF/A format, aka PDF / Archive mode.  I have a workflow for rotate pdf/a files using my copy of Adobe Acrobat Pro version 9 however, the workflow I have is quite heavy.

    1. Open the pdf/a file in Adobe Pro 9
    2. Go to advanced->->-> pdf/a preflight remove pdf/a.
    3. Save the pdf file - so that is no longer in pdf/a mode.
    4. Reopen the pdf file.
    5. Now Adobe turn let us the document under him-> turn the Page.
    6. Save the PDF - technically this should be saved as a pdf/a again.

    Issues related to the:

    1. This workflow works to run a single pdf/a document.  However, it is rather bulky.  Is there a quicker way?
    2. I have seen some indications that it is possible to run several PDFs 90 degrees to the left at the same time.  However, it will work for pdf/a documents?  This feature is also available in Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 Version?

    Thank you

You can use a sequence of batch job to do this.

  • Can not put multiple PDF files into a single document no more.

I was able to scan multiple PDFs into one document on my desktop. I can no longer. I have a printer Photosmart HP 6515 and Windows7 OS.  PS. just the other day I had someone remotely access my computer to fix a problem with MagicJack (computer phone) and who knows what they might have done. Thank you to everyone.

    Nice day

Here are a few screenshots I took it to give you an example of how to do to scan several pages in the scanner software. Make sure that the option is disabled for the creation of a separate file for each scanned page. Subsequently, click on the 'Destination' tab above and save it to any folder you want on your desktop or elsewhere.

    This should help, good luck

    Have a great weekend!

  • How to toggle open multiple PDF in a single window?

    Hello

I want to disable Acrobat pro DC open multiple PDF in a single windows. I tried to find shape options but without success. do you know how to do this?

    Edwin

You use the classic way, not the continuous track. I don't pretend to understand it, but I wonder if, as a buyer of a time a license, you get the classic way and no update.

In any case, please answer my other question, as we understand is what the problem is you are trying to solve, since you do not have the tabs anymore.

  • Print several PDF both.

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro XI on Windows 7 and every day I print multiple PDF files at once. If you select and then right click on the PDF file is that you get only the print option to print 15 at a time. Since I need to print more than 15 at a time, I must doulble click on my printer and need to drop all the PDF files in the queue. When printing, the Adobe window remains open on my screen and I can't do anything else on my computer while they are printing. Very annoying. Any ideas on how to avoid this problem? Thank you

It is a limitation of MS Windows.

  • A script that will count the total number of pages into multiple PDF files in a batch file?

Is there a script I can use ExtendScript Toolkit that will count the total number of pages into multiple PDF files in a batch file?

In another discussion I showed a JavaScript that you can use to write the number of pages to the console in a batch sequence. You would do exactly the same thing in Action, so the action would consist of a simple JavaScript (more tools > run JavaScript) which includes the code.

How to rotate a PDF file that is backwards?

    Hi jasonstraw,

To rotate pages in a PDF document, you must use Acrobat. However, you can rotate the view (a temporary change that is not saved with the document), you can do in Reader and Acrobat by choosing View > display rotation.

  • Acrobat will open a single pdf both.

Hello. Can someone please clarify for me why Adobe Acrobat will open allow a pdf be visible at a time. If additional pdf is open, they appear black. Means I can't assemble multiple PDF files.

Using Windows 7 Pro and Acrobat X Pro. Attached is a screen shot of 2 files PDF opens at the same time. The back is fine while those in front appears black, but if opened on its own would open well.

    Thank you

It looks like a graphics driver bug - try turning point/activate hardware acceleration under Acrobat preferences and make sure that your drivers are up-to-date.

Acrobat don't tend to play well with configurations of multiple monitors, but it shouldn't do what you see.
