Rule of supply

Dear Experts,
(1) sourcing rule works on % ventilation or rank in function?
(2) if there are two suppliers A & B and allocation of 55% and 45% return and rankings 1A and 2 for B rank how this will work?
(3) if the two providers are equal allocation % and tier 1 and 2 for A and B how it will work?

Thanks in advance

(1) plan without constraint is a type of plan in the advanced Supply Chain Planning (which is like the MRP)
(2) you must have 100% to the supplier with Rank1 and 100% for supplierB ranked 2.
(3) Yes - covers will work.
(4) Yes - you MRP to take full advantage of the sourcing of the rules with 2 providers. You set a plan, enter your sources of supply and demand, execute the plan and workbench allows to release the planned order are suggested by the scheduling engine.

Hope that answers your question

    Hi all

    Is there an open interface or an API of accepted lists suppliers and sourcing rules.

    Thank you and best regards,

    You can use the API, even if you do not use MFG.

    You must set up the sourcing
    You must enter the Organization of shipment if the SR gets other org inventory material. otherwise, you will need to enter the details of the seller.
    I think you can leave the receipt org id field.

  • Power supply for Powermac MDD

    Hey all,.

    I got a Powermac MDD dead sitting in my room for a few years now that I picked up for free because it lights. I came to the conclusion that it was the power supply, so I took and threw it years. Now, here I am, no power supply and one useless MDD.

    I really want to get this thing to the top and running, but as the price of the power supply on ebay are absolutely ridiculous. I hope that someone here has a job, they are willing to participate with and sell to me. (Pay me for the part + shipping costs). Also interested in an OS disc that will work for the machine, so I can stand him up and running.

    If eBay is too pricing heartburn, try a Mac (MUG) user GFroup in your area. This site will help you locate a:

    http://appleusergroupresources.com/find-a-group/

    As a general rule, you don't have to physically visit the groups for assistance. Several times, simply by sending an e-mail "looking to buy" published groups addresses will receive a response.

    The other option is to look for a private LABEL job and use it for parts. The cost of a scrap computer may be less than the PSU.

  • Power supply selection guide

    This MOD can make a post-IT.

    Here is a general guide on how to select a power supply for your HP desktop computer.  The majority of the standard ATX power supply (PSU) must fit in an envelope of HP.  The exception would be a slim casing or the esoteric Merle.

    Looking for a certification 80 + on the PSU to save electricity.  A PC is normally idle or operate at low load 75% of the time.  Therefore, to find a power supply which is more effective in the range 50 - 90W.  A power supply 80 + 350W reaches the level of efficiency of 80% at the exit of 70W (20% of rated output).  The output must be greater than 140W to achieve the same level of efficiency of a PSU of 700W 80 + equivalent.  So choose a power supply that is rated at 25% more than the maximum load of the ACTUAL spending of the rig you will save more of $ on electricity.

    A modern PSU is designed to achieve maximum efficiency between 20 and 80% of the nominal power.  Running a power supply above 80% charge level will result in excessive heat, noise and premature failure.

    A platform Nvidia GeForce GTX 280 (1024 MB of RAM) will rely on 350W max to the wall.  Taking into account the effectiveness of a block of power SUPPLY 80 +, the actual load on the power supply is only 280W (350 x 0.80).  To calculate the required power supply, multiply the actual load by 1.25 (25% margin).  In this case we only need a PSU 350W (280 x 1.25) to run this GPU.

    Let's apply what we know of a rigging of Radeon HD 4870 (512 MB RAM).  290W max to the wall.  Actual load is 290W x 0.80 or 230W.  Now, apply the 25% margin rule and we come to a requirement of 290W PSU (230W x 1.25).  Even if we apply a safety margin of 50%, the power required is always under 350W (230W x 1.50).

    There are no overspec need the power supply by 50%, unless you run your PC up 24/7.  Don't forget that there is a huge variation in the quality of the PSU and side.  Maybe a good 500W PSU is not able to provide as much energy as a quality 350W.  Antec Earthwatts/NeoPower/TruePower and Corsair Seasonic are widely available at several American retailers of quality units.

    High-end power supplies number will need additional power supply PSU in the form of one or two 6/8 pin plug GPU.  You can buy an adapter to convert a molex 4pin to plug 6-pin power of GPUS.

    Hi Nautsj,

    You need to open your PC and measure the physical dimensions of your diet. Here is a list of the things to consider:

    1. technical characteristics
    2. the total power - important
    3. amperage 12 + v - important
    4 modular - is not required, but I like the flexibility
    5. guarantee
    6 i7 and SLI ready
    7. energy efficiency
    8 cost
    9. size - standard ATX PSU is 5.5 "by 5.9" by 3.4 "give or take a few tenths
    10. a single + 12 volt rail is a better choice.

    www.Newegg.com has many choices of power supplies. Corsair, OCZ, Rosewill, Thermaltake...

    The typical EVGA GTX 570 in 9 "long.  The adjacent slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant.  Open your PC and do some measures so that you know for sure if the card fits.  According to me, it will fit.

    For what is a PSU, Corsair CX600has very little growth, but the Corsair HX650gives you plenty of space to grow.

    I use the HX650 in two PC.  It is a modular model in order to have better options with the selection of cable.

    "How-to" HP articles should be useful.

    TIP: When installing the power supply, unlock the scanner and slide it forward to facilitate the removal and installation of the new power supply.

  • Power supply for HP 8000 elite

    Help, please

    Hi, I have HP 8000 elite, the problem is the power supply on my PC is damaged due to a power surge problem, I fixed it. But it does not work very well. Now I turn the power button that is not starts it becomes red power light and 4 times gives a beep both cpu and power fans are not turning on. Now, I want to buy a new PSU, but then I came to know that my PC has a rare type of food that is not normally available on the market, other feeds standerd does not work on this forum.

    In the end I think that there as no break for my solution that one question must take a half litre petrol put on the system and put it on the fire.

    I did not understand is why HP does not follow rules standerd.
    All the help that I can use the PSU others made by Corsair or Cooler Master or I have to wait until the power supply would be available on the market.

  • Can I put the Pavilion Slimline 180 Watt power supply to a 300 Watt PSU

    Of course, you can!

    Here is an informational videoabout the possibilities of upgrading your slimline WHAT PSU found on YouTube.  A comparison of three power supplies, including the owner HP PSU and a (two video and CPU) stress test and comparison of noise is shown during the video.

    Be aware that some, but not all, of the PSU, upgrades require a simple and light your PSU slimline support change. Change depends on the power supply model chosen for the upgrade.

    Purchase an adaptor molex as HP UPE is necessary for the Slimlines using a power supply with the format owners microfit ATX 24 pin, as well as the standard for the HTPC power supply ATX 20 pin format.

    Upgrade your power supply at a higher power will not damage your motherboard. A power supply will provide only so much power that is required of him by the mother and peripheral card up to the nominal power of the installed PSU.

    It is for those who wondered how to work around the limitation of the low power 180 Watt power supply that most Pavilion Slimline PCs come with the Assembly. With a power SUPPLY improved, more memory and a graphics card discrete, including support (it is a requirement) your Slimline can be your gaming PC.

    Selecting a graphics card is another topic. Not all graphics cards can hold in the case of a slimline. It takes a low profile video card. They are available for purchase online.

  • HP power supply pinout incompatible with the standard?

    My machine is a P7-1370.

    While researching PSU's, I found this statement to http://www.smps.us/power-connectors.html:

    "Compaq and HP also used incompatible systems. As a general rule, if you have a brand PC,.
    you suspect that it may be incompatible with the standard of the industry. »

    But in this forum I read about the people, replacing the PSU in HP machines with Corsair etc.

    Is there any incompatibility in the HP pinout?

    Hello

    The new class of consumers HP PCs of my standard ATX power supply to use observation provides. Some of the class business PCS have been known to use propriety feeding.  You can find some of the old HP PC using a connector ATX 20.

    It takes time for the standards to shake.  While using a power supply ATX standard can save on costs, that it could not meet the requirements for a particular need, hence the need for a special model. Sequencing of its power for devices is a case I've seen in the past to power specialized.  Another situation might be a compact cabinet where a typical diet would not fit.

    I saw the power supplies that are interchangeable between Dell and HP.

    Yesterday, I have reset all my rules in the standard firewall to make sure that I did ' t make a mistake here, but this did not help.

    Later, then I installed "Windows 7 Firewall Control" - GUI and it says that this package should go to the Hostprocess for Windows Services (svchost), but there are some rules for this can prevent other rules of this process, said the firewall itself when I try to make a.

    On the other hand my friends with Win7 have no such problems. So, what's the problem here?

    It wasn't a firewall problem. It turned out that my router (Siemens SL2-141 - I with a special firmware from a German supplier Alice) blocked some initial packages and the rest was deleted by the firewall. My solution for now is to use my router as a DSL modem and initiate a pppoe connection.

  • power-supply re-use

    Hello

    I'm trying to give a new life to my good old Compaq Presario Windows 95 computer. Is to use the wardrobe and the power (+ 12V, + 5V, both very interesting) for a project which I was buy a power supply anyway.

    So I thought, let's give a new life to this old beast. AF TI less safe environment to another part of e-waste.

    Furthermore, food is a MITAC SPU-75.

    I am aware that the reuse of PC power supplies requires generally a few rules to follow. There should be a charge on the + 5v and of the connecting leads must be grounded to convince food it is supposed to be 'on '.

    That's what I thought until I tried with this little beast. Being an old Compag connectors are not standard, 2 x 6-pin.

    Anyone has any experience in re-using this type of diet?

    Kind regards

    Reinhold

    I thought about it!

    I have connected the white wire to the orange wire and put a lamp halogen 12V 20W load between + 5v (red wire) and GND (black wire). Then - so it's important - turn on the switch on the rear of the unit. Voila, now it works!

  • 'Trigger' rules the naming could be added?

    I looked around, but couldn't find a way to do of this...

    Would it not possible to request an improvement to allow to the naming conventions for triggers and integrate this into the object name of the Administration?

    Trigger_Naming.jpg

    I do not know where triggers receive their default name, but in this case, it is obviously related to the column affect the trigger.

    For example, adding "rules of naming" here under relational templates (or even elsewhere) would use a model of the 'name' trigger and add a suffix (or prefix) related to the trigger type (which is our standard).

    This trigger could be renamed USPS_ACT_LOG_USPS_ACTLOG_BI or simply USPS_ACT_LOG_BI (for a Before Iinsert trigger).

    Other examples would be TABLENAME_AUD (for After Update or Delete) and so on.

    Just a thought see naming rules are an important component with this product.

    I do not know where triggers receive their default name, but in this case, it is obviously related to the column affect the trigger.

    A model for the name of the trigger generated for a column to auto-increment can be provided on the Data Modeler > model > physical preferences page.

    If this is not supplied, the default name is

    __TRG.  (The _TRG or more are removed if necessary to keep the name in the 30 character limit.)

  • How to specify a custom design rule?

    I want to have a design rule to find the names of table > 27. The supplied rule is with a length of 30. Seems like it should be pretty easy to do if I could copy the current rule and modify, but I can't seem to find a way to even see the code for the current rule.

    Thank you.

    Hello Kent,

    These rules are build-in before support for custom rules has been added, and you do not see the code. There is a custom rule example provided with the tool and I posted some rules associated with the physical model here in the forum.
    Here are two examples:
    (1) without the function definition

    if(table.getName().length()>27){
     false;
    }else{
     true;
    }

    you see there is no return statement, the last expression is taken as the return value, and this might be confusing
    (2) with a function definition

    /define
    function checkName(table){
     if(table.getName().length()>27){
      return false;
     }else{
      return true;
     }
    }
    //invoke it
    checkName(table);

    The rule should be created for the Table object and motor set to "Mozilla Rhino.

    ex in ASL (point x or xx goods) approved provider is "yy".
    Sourcing rule u just mensioned beg 'YY' we can dimension allocation % and grade... here there is no link with the point... .where is the link... which will be the important things you should know in ASL and Sourcing rule?

    To add to the answer of MS Dash,
    As a general rule,.
    Sourcing rules will tell you the supplier.
    FSA tells you the price and release method.

    You also asked about

    where is the link

    The link is in the mission screen Sourcing rule.
    Purchase > supply base > assign rules of sourcing.

    On this screen, you assign a sourcing rule to an element. This is how Oracle knows what supply section to use for a given element / org/item-org.
