• Business rules endangered in Calc Manager

  I have a planning application classic on 11.1.2.1 crossing calc Manager business rules, but just the other day I logged in i could no longer see in calc business rules manager when I go to the database. The rules still run and are visible in other places as the head of corporate security rule but not in calc Manager. I tried to restart the Manager of calc, reconfiguration weblogic, creating new rules (that actually works but the old is still invisible). I've migrated on the environment from another environment, without success. Any idea what could be the problem?

  Hi, have you migrated rules if Appication group-> Foundation-> Manager calculation way of LCM? Or just the rules with your application. It looks like the second, but this is not enough, that you must use the first one too.

  I have built a HFM extended analytical snippet and then wrote a SQL query to organize the data in the way that I need for Essbase. The output SQL file is a simple text file with a "|" delimiter. However, when I open the file in the State of charge in Essbase, I see a few characters random and none of the fields. the air in the notebook output file. Any ideas? Thank you.
  
  
  EDIT: The problem was with the coding. Open in Notepad and saved in the UTF-8 format and it fine in Essbase. Now I need to figure out how to do this by SQL.

  If you need to convert the file in utf - 8 and does not know how to do in SqlServer, Essbase comes with a utility to do so. (you can embed in your automation script, it is called essutf8.exe and is located in your arborpath\bin directory.) The reference of the technology has a lot of info about this utility

  Is there a better method to download file?  I tried to download SQL Management Studio 2012, and each time it has been corrupted, as well as the other SQL 2012 xxxx_x64.exe type files available to choose.

  I tried several times to download these files SQL Express 2012, and they all have been corrupted somehow. I have installed all updates of IE 11.0.16, and foregoing, that's what I get when I look at with 7 - zip.  I have a x 64 installation on an Intel Core i7 960 Win7UltSP1, 3.06 GHz, 6 GB RAM, etc.

  first of all, I have good malware scanner and then pull up to your CMD prompt and run in ADMINISTRATOR mode... scan files

  so it will look like this on the fast line

  sfc/scannow

  If it detects the wrong files it will try and fix...

  Once that is done and all seems good... Run windows update... and make sure that all THE DRIVERS are updated... There was an update in last 6-8 wks is hitting all the settings, but MS does not move fast on this...

  Make sure you restart after every high driver you do as she needs... otherwise nothing will change... go read the forums for malware on bleeping computer dot com and tech guy... you will see a lot of us dealing with this and you will see bugs... these forums are free

• Not able to open the designer of the rule in Calc Manager in the workspace

  I installed Hyperion 11.1.2.2 on Win2003 sp2. My version of IE is 7. When I try to write/modify a business rule in the calc Manager, I get a warning "your current security settings don't allow websites to use ActiveX ie7... "Your page may not display correctly. I tried every setting in Internet Explorer to get this message across, but it doesn't. All the world faces this problem and what is the solution.

  You will probably have to have Flash plugin (Yes it's kind of ridiculous that most of us use Calc Manager just to write calc scripts), but this is probably the reason why, I came across it last month. No idea if a recent version of the Flash plug-in for Win2003.

  Or just use a browser (Firefox or IE. recent 8/9 on a client of work instead of working directly on the server

  I was wondering if anyone had any practice with SQL Plan Management in 11 GR 2? Specifically, we seek to implement this in an environment of Exadata.
  
  After reading the manual, I have a few questions:
  
  -Is it possible to stop the plan history to consume barrel loads of space SYSAUX? I know that:
  
  + "A weekly background process measures the total space occupied by the SQL Management database, and when the set limit is exceeded, the process will generate a warning in the alerts log" +
  
  That's great, but it does not stop the limit being exceeded, so I was wondering whether or not there was this ability?
  
  -How long it tends to take for the SQL plans to 'navigate' automatically? If the optimizer sees a new plan for a statement and it is good, how much time is the period of 'prove' before it implements the SQL plan? (I suspect it's as my asking ' how long is a piece of string? ', but it's a worth a try)
  
  -Has a significant performance impact whenever it collects all the plans at first?
  
  -I guess if I decide that it is not for us, I can change the setting optimizer_use_sql_plan_baselines and following the instructions in MOS 790039.1 to abandon the repository? It is not all the additional measures "clean"?

  I have a business rule, I see it in the Regional service console, but when I try to join my form data in the Planning, I don't see this business rule in the list fo management rules which appear in manage data forms-> tab business rules. I hae associated with this business with my outline planning application rule again I do not see it. Can someone please.
  
  Also I migrated my rules from one environment to another (PRod dev), now when I go to Manage dataforms in Dev, I don't see these new rules of business listed there. Help, please

  Have you tried to deploy all the rules once more after the abolition of the rule?
  In calc Manager, right-click on the application/database and select deploy (or deploy all) option.

  Membership lists allow you to specify a segment of information within a dimension. You create lists of members in a VBScript file and load the file in your application. Once loaded, member lists are available for the users of the application. For example, you can select lists of members during the definition of the view in the data Explorer or in newspapers

• Delayed treaty event subscription but does not PL/SQL rule Func

  I create a subscription to events simple Business w / a function of rule of PL/SQL in my environment of E-Business Suite 11.5.10.CU2/10gR2. My custom code simply inserts a record into a custom table. When I place the subscription to run synchronously (i.e. Phase < 100), the PL/SQL function is running, and a record is inserted in my custom table. When I place the subscription to execute in a deferred manner (i.e. a Phase Code > = 100), no record is inserted in my custom table.
  
  The Service component "Workflow delayed Agent Listener" is running. A thorough inspection of the WF_DEFERRED queue tables reveal that the message/entry is treated (I can see the situation change loan to TRANSFORMED), but the PL/SQL function is never executed.
  
  I prefer to set up the subscription to be deferred in order to not degrade the performance of the session of the user who starts the business process. What Miss me?

  If you use global variables in your custom code to insert, you can stop and start the agent receiving WF and then try to raise the event.
