  I run intoanother apparently simple problem, but I just can't get my head around it.

  I want to set up a simple menu of execution of a control where the user can select different options.  RTM reviewed and set by default no problem.  Right-click on the control when running, the correct menu does appear, no problem.

  Problem arises when I want to set the menu checked or unchecked entry. My problems are:

  1. Why didn't - not the refnum menu that appears in the "Selection of the Menu?" events (user)  Do I have to intercept the reference of the event "Meu activation?" menu for control?
  2. When I catch the reference in this way (changes reference to each menu selection), I get "Menu invalid 1160 error" when I try to change the items in checked or unchecked...  I store the reference in a registry to offset for later use when a different menu event is triggered.

  Can someone please take a look at this VI and let me know what I am doing wrong?

  Why the run menu not can not simply be read of the property of a control node?  It would be so easy.   Or if I know the name of file for rtm, how can I get a valid reference to it?

  Sorry what are silly questions, but I just can't understand it right now.

  Make these changes in "activation of the Menu (user) selection event?

  The menu "(user) the Menu selection event" is after the display was done, so it is normal is not to place a check (make a change)

• After effects are "disabled" when you run the argument s AfterFX.exe

  Hey guys, was hoping that you could help me.

  Write my first script with sequels to automate some of my approach. I want the script runs at startup with certain arguments passed via the command line, so I use the command - s.

  Everything is done except for one problem, when I run AfterFX.exe with the argument - s, for example if I do this:

  "PATH_TO_ADOBE_CS6\Support Files\AfterFX.exe" s "alert ('foo')"

  It opens after effects and I get this dialog box "foo", but for some reason any after effects is 'disabled '. I mean, it of that I can't do anything, is not open any project, nothing. all options are grayed out.

  Note that if after effects is already running, and I run the command, it is not 'turn off' after effects and I got the desired result.

  I use windows and legacy CS6.

  Note: of course, I intend to do something more complex than alert ('foo') that has been used a minimalist example to show my problem.

  Figured it out. For those who find it later, all I had to do was add "app.exitAfterLaunchAndEval = false;

  I have Oracle 11 GR 1 material in windows server 2008 R2.
  I have a few tables with 10 million documents. When I run the select query to the tables of first time, it gives me a result in 15 seconds, but if I run the script even twice in the same session, I get the result in 15 minutes to complete...
  
  Why it's happening? What can be the solution for this?

  What I know is that this feedback from cardinality generates more problems than improving the performance is, in fact, its main objective. But first look at which is was written in the link I posted above

  "Return of cardinality was introduced in the Oracle 11 g database 2. The purpose of this function is to automatically improve plans for queries that are executed repeatedly, _For that the optimizer does not estimate the cardinalities in the properly_ plan"

  If the cardinality feedback kiks in your case it is certainly because you do not have an exact statistics. Get the command the explain plans that I have shown you with the E-lines and A-lines (lines estimates and actual lines) and see where things are poorly estimated.

  If you want to disable the cardinality feedback then add the indicator according to your request

• When I run my script from a shortcut ExtendScript is invoked, but this isn't when I run the menu

  I use Photshop CS2 on Win XP

  I set up a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl + Alt + P) to execute a .jsx file in the folder... \Presets\Scripts\.

  When I activate the script via the keyboard shortcut ExtendScript is called and interrupts execution on main() statement (see below).

  When I activate the script via the menu file/Scripts that extendscript is not called and the script runs up to the end.

  The .jsx file is a wrapper for a .vbs script that does the 'real' work

  The .jsx is:-

  One thing to check is that the .jsx extension is associated with Photoshop and not ExtendScript.

  Lov maps:

  Make a single value of the form OrgIdFV
  fact OrgIdFV as part of criteria.
  
  When I run the page, it works very well with a % and tab once. Second time if I delete the value a lov in entry and write a % and a tab once again, this Type of column not valid error

  This will not work unless you write the VOImpl executeQuery method. that is to replace the standard executeQuery method.

  I created a menu which I changed to use the roles so that each user uses his credentials to connect. I attributed all of the roles of each option on my menu, but when I use one of the users I get error FRM-10256. I try using the same user, but with the user name and the password on the target of the shortcut menu and works pretty well, but if I delete the user name and password, then I get the error. I use Forms 6i and Oracle database 10g.

  I have 1 machine that is part of a domain that uses roaming profiles. Unlike the rest of the fleet of this machine in additional to run windows XP SP3 and Office 2007 is also Sharepoint Designer 2010. When inside a web folder I right-click on a file or a folder, then move the mouse down to send the following reports to what point and explore crashes.
  Explorer.EXE - Application error: the instruction at "0x493549b6" referenced memory at "0x00000008". The memory could not be "read".
  The only scenario where it seems to work with problem so far has been when I delete all the shortcuts of the profiles. I also tried to disable much context managers and who do not seem to help either. Any ideas or suggestions?

• Why the execution time increases with a while loop, but not with "run continuously?

  I have a problem of severe weather that I don't know how to fix it because I don't know exactly where it comes from.

  I order two RF switches via a data acquisition card (NI USB-6008). One job at the same time can be selected on each switch. Basically, the VI created for this feature (by a colleague) resets all the outputs of acquisition data and active then those desired. It has three entrances, two chain simp0le controls and a cluster table, that contains the list of all the outputs and some practical information to know what is connected (specific to my application).

  I use this VI in a complex application, and I have some problems with the execution time, which increased whenever I said the VI, so I did a test VI (TimeTesting.vi) to determine where the problem came. In this special VI I record the execution time in a csv file to analyze then with excel.

  After several tries, I found that if I run this criterion VI with the while loop, execution on every cycle time increases, but if I remove the while loop and use the funtionnality "Continuous run", the execution time remains the same. In my high level application, I have while loops and events, and so the runtime increases too.

  I someone could explain to me why execution time increases and how can we avoid this? I have attached my VI test and the necessary subVIs, as well as an image of a graph that shows the execution time with a while loop and «run permanently»

  Your SetReset_DO VI creates a channel whenever it is called.  And that you never delete a task.

  When running continuously, that it's as if it only runs once and LabVIEW has internal mechanisms to close references that will not be used again.  When a VI is used as a Subvi, LV does not know if she will be called again, and lacks these things until the first level VI stops. You have a memory leak.

  Just as you open and close your file outside the loop for, create your channel out of the loop.

  I just created a stored procedure that works very well

  Problem is that the second time I run it, it does not what it should (data fusion)

  When I run the second time I always get PL/SQL procedure successfully completed but the target table is still empty, here is the procedure:

  @rp0428 I forgot to mention that I'M to truncate the table, and then run the procedure again but the merger no longer works as the table is empty

  In any case, I found out why

  I'm merging the tables in the DB using the schema that is related to my installation of Oracle APEX

  In the procedure if you notice there is no COMMIT

  As apex has users within a schema, that I couldn't see the lines without committing before

• Have the menu but when played, disc indicates "NO MENU ON THIS DISC.

  Just moved to the top of the CS4 to CS6 versions.  Have i7, ram 16 gig, CS6

  I even used to build many menus for years.  Strange, the first time I ever saw this happen.  All appears well before burning.  "Check project" comes back clean.  All buttons work, etc.  When I play the newly serious disc menu will appear and all buttons work fine.  However, after the disc starts to play any chapter, I push the button "MENU" on the remote control and I can't go back to the menu.  The display shows: "No. Menu on Disc".  I can jump through the chapters, but I just can't go back to the menu unless I have eject the disc and start playback.

  I would like your suggestions.

  Try other commands "menu" and try it in another drive; There are various buttons "menu" and not all remote controls can use the same command.

  In the preview, yet, when you run the "menu remote control button," what is happening?

• Time Machine (on Mac) does not detect the airport Time Capsule

  Looking for advice on how to get the Time Machine utility for access to my Time Capsule. I use an iMac in late 2012 with MAC OS 10.12 TimeCapsule is 2015 7.7.7 running latest firmware. Airport utility is the latest firmware 6.3.7.

  When I run the application Time Machine, Time Capsule is not detected. I tried the two WiFi and with cables connected Ethernet (not tried USB yet) and my Time Capsule doesn't have a lightning bolt or firewire ports.

  Open Airport utility & see the airport time capsule. I can see all connected devices, including the MAC, but no prompt activation Time Machine on the Time Capsule.

  I recently used TM on this iMac with a G-Technology drive. It auto detects the time machine and executes a back up. But airport Time Capsule will not.

  Any suggestions?

  Sierra has been problematic with the TC.

  1. make sure you don't have any charge virus protection software. In fact, I would say that disable all software 3rd part at the moment.

  2. make sure that you can actually write to disk of TC.

  Attach the TC disc in the finder and copy a file on disk, you can delete it later... It's just to ensure that you have full write permission. If it does not for the most part, you won't be able to use Time Machine... If you can then try TM immediately...

  Just to be clear, the TC is a network device. You have tested with ethernet and wireless... Ok.. They are only suitable methods. You cannot use USB. And clearly, TC has never had nor will never be ports Firewire or lightning.

  3. no chance that a reset complete TC. This will not delete the files on the hard drive, but you must make sure that the device is configured on the current computer.

  4. There are many positions in these days... read through them and do some research. Sierra is a bleeding edge new... So wait you to spend a lot of the precious liquid if you choose to be an early adopt.
