RV220W IPSec Android not compatible?

Hello everyone,

I´d want to buy RV220W router, but I need to have the support of IPSec for Android devices (after reading the different subjects here + tips from my friends, I m not sure, it does) and I need to know before buy you.

What I need is complete (!) support of IPSec, AnyConnect in favour not just for IPSec software of third parties, so have as many different manufacturers.

Con, someone from Cisco engineers here confirm that RV220W is indeed has this support?

And if not, is there any other router cisco Gigabit, which has this support?

Thanks for the reply,

Gordon

Gordon,

The RV series does not support IPSec, as do the routers of the company. I have a RV220W and I have been unable to get IPSec to work with Android. I tried all possible ways I could find and it never worked. Finally, I settled on PPTP for occasional use. A colleague was able to connect its Android phone to a SA520 or SA540 here about a year in VPN client using the. I know that the SA500 series support Cisco VPN Client 5.0, so this should also work with iPads, iPhones, etc. Of course the SA500 has been replaced by the ISA500 (not tested) and the ISA500 is now EOL/EOS.
