RW files' of Lumix DMC-TZ100

I am about to purchase a license for creative cloud and Lightroom. I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC TZ100 camera. RW2 files from this camera can be opened by CC in Photoshop and Lightroom CC?

Yes your device should work with creative cloud because it requires Camera Raw 9.5. It does work with CS6 however. Please see the camera supports list below

Yes, the plugin does not work in ESP 12, so I didn't want the 8.6 dng converter.

(the beta versions of the camera raw plugins are only for photoshop cs6, cc and cc2014, not for photoshop elements)

  • Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-1000, edition in elements of RAW files.

I have a new Panasonic Lumix DMC FZ-1000 and tries to open the RAW files to edit, but my Photoshop Elements says it does not support these files and suggest you check the raw plug in the help files, although this camera is on the list of the models compatible with the elements.  Elements is completely up-to-date Version 11, with RAW plug in 7.4.0.137.  Anyone has any suggestions please?  Thank you.

  • RAW-Daten LUMIX DMC-TZ61

Hallo, gibt are as Fotoshop - items 12 ein plugin, das die RAW-Daten einer LUMIX DMC-TZ61 read kann? Danke, Rudolf

I can't help but notice that your screenshot of the dialog box camera raw said Panasonic DMC-TZ71, which would explain why pse 12 will not open the raw files of the camera directly from the camera.

Panasonic DMC-TZ71 requires at least the plugin 8.8 camera raw and PES 12 can use only upward to 8.5 plugin camera raw.

Photoshop CS4? = version 11 or 11 elements of Photoshop?

Camera Raw 9.1.1 is only compatible with Photoshop CS6 and Cloud versions. It is not at all compatible with Photoshop Elements.

Therefore, it is unlikely that you have installed Camera Raw 9.1.1.

That said, the Panasonic DMC-FZ200 has been supported since Camera Raw 7.4.

If you have Photoshop elements 11 - which ships with Camera Raw 7.1 - check what version of Camera Raw is actually installed. Help > updates

I have a number of digital cameras. However I just added Panasonic DMC G7 to my kit.

I use Lightroom 5 and it is updated but it does not open the files from this camera. Help...

Unfortunately, your camera model is too new to be supported in LR5.

Upgrade to LR6 or use the free DNG Converter to continue using the LR5

  • 5 Lightroom on Mac does not recognize files of Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX100

Does anyone else have this problem? Is there a solution?

The camera is not on the list of supported devices. The solution is to wait until Lightroom is updated to support the camera. There is a possibility that it could be included in the next update. But that's only a guess. You should have received the Panasonic software that allows to open the raw files and save as TIF files. Then those who might be imported into Lightroom. Not perfect, but it's something that you could use in the meantime.

  • RW2 CS5 and Lumix [cannot open files Panasonic Lumix GX7 Raw in CS5]

I have a Lumix GX7 which produces RW2 images.  How can I move them in Adobe Photoshop CS5 on my iMac v. 10.11.6?

The site does not list my camera as one of those taken in charge by CS5, and I only went in circles trying to get more specific information.

The GX7 is only supported in Camera Raw 8.2 or later version that is only compatible with CS6 and later.

Camera Raw plugin and Adobe application compatibility

You will never be able to open the GX7 RW2 Raw files in CS5.

    Options:

    1. Upgrade to CS6 (not recommended. CS6 is too old)
    2. Join the Cloud
    3. Buy Photoshop Elements to open Raw files
    4. Free option: download the Adobe DNG converter, batch convert all RW2 files to DNG format, and then change the DNG files in CS5. An extra step for you, but no extra cost

The RW2 extension refers to a family of Panasonic raw file, it is not a specific format: each new camera always comes with its own format. New cameras are not supported by older software and more old software cannot be upgraded indefinitely.

    https://forums.Adobe.com/thread/1030798

The followin link indicates that your camera requires version 8.6 the camera raw converter.

Devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw

However, you would need to elements of 13 or 14 to be able to support your camera.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/camera-raw/KB/camera-raw-compatible-applications.html

So, your free solution if you don't upgrade to the version current 14 is to download the free Adobe DNGconverter mentioned in this faq.

This stand-alone software (not a plugin) can batch convert all of a folder of your raw files to DNG format raw that your PSE11 can read and modify.

Have you installed the Windows 7 driver for the camera?

Please tell us what "cannot transfer" means. Exactly how are you
are you still? What happens when you try? If you get an error message please
    He quotes verbatim.

Also note that you don't ever need to connect your camera directly. Buy a
card reader for the type of flash card your camera uses (they are very
inexpensive), put the flash card and plug it into a USB port.

Personally, I prefer to do it this way. It is easier and does not use
the camera battery. I have both these card readers - one I keep on
my desk, close my desktop computer and another that I keep in my
Bag for laptop to use when traveling.
