  Ripping allows you to put the titles of your audio CD on your PC. When you rip the tracks, they become digital files on your PC.

  There are two places in the Player library where you can customize your settings and better to make ripping work:

  • In the Rip settings menu (with less choice customization).

  • In the Options dialog box (with several choices of customization).

  Method 1: run the tool library, Windows Media Player and Windows Media Player settings and check if the extraction is possible.

  Step 1:

  a: press the logo Windows + O to open the search box.
  b: Type Troubleshooting, press ENTER.

  c: now, click on programs.

  d: and then click Windows Media Player  library.

  Step 2:

  a: press the logo Windows + O to open the search box.
  b: Type Troubleshooting, press ENTER.

  c: now, click on programs.

  d: and then click Windows Media settings.

  I also got this message "Windows Media Player is unable to extract one or more tracks from the CD" pop up in an attempt to 'Copy' the CD!  I have Windows 7 and had NO problem for several weeks, ripping my music from CD sales in my MUSIC folder.  I got all "parameters" laid so that whenever I inserted a new CD he automatically pulled and then ejected.  I had NOT brought any changes to settings but for some reason all of a sudden it doesn't work anymore?

  If I read this correctly, you have a portable computer that do not have an operating system on it.  You try to install Vista and get the error.
  You've restarted the Vista installation?  So then you get the same error? If you have tried to install more than once and continue to receive this error, check that the laptop is capable of Vista?  You may need to check with the manufacturer of the laptop to see if it is able to support Vista.   searched the Web and found other discussions of the forum with similar questions.
  Tried all suggestions, nothing worked. I'm not very good on the computer but you can find my way. In any case...

  After connection messge pop messages - up in succession, similar to: TPSMain.exe cannot start because CpePerf.dll was not found then: TPSoddctl.exe cannot start because CpuPerf.dll not found

  Computer works very well but Power Saver start is not automatic and can't select it from the Panel... "" Toshiba power saver does not work. "
  so select the power options... "could not start because the CpuPerf.dll is not running.
  Did all the research on the net and followed all the tips... i.e. unistall saving in safe mode, uninstall toshiba common utility can uninstall fatal error 0x7e

  Then download Ccleaner, inspections, uninstall with Ccleaner same fatal error.
  In support of Toshiba and tried to install Power Saver... same problem will not install.

  Thus help help help if possible.
  Computer works well but popping up messages are annoying and I'd love to sleep to extend battery.

  I think you can solve this problem, recover the laptop.

  I had the same and it drove me nuts for days!

  I found this solution and it worked and everything is back to normal now :)

  Go to Tools - Options - Rip music and see if you have a location, that music is being ripped off. I did not when I looked, it was empty.

  Then go to organize - manage libraries - music, it should be a location of folder of music here, otherwise click on "add" button and add the music folder.

  Now do the same for the other 3 libraries, videos, pictures and recorded tv, all should have places, remove those without a location.

  try to check out again.

  I hope like me you will be out of service again.

• Problems with error Windows Audio and Control Panel "one or more of the audio service is not running.

  I'm a bit of a technophobe, but I'll try to explain my problem, I got better.  I recently had a problem with Windows 8 and refreshed my system.  After refreshing, I installed AVG Anti-virus and that's where my problems really started.  After installing AVG I have no sound and my control panel usually pop up.  The box is displayed but there is nothing in it and it sorts just of sticks, frozen.  I tried the fixes recommended to fix my sound. The speaker in my taskbar icon has a red x on it and when I try to open it it goes right to the problem-solving mode, then comes up with "one or more of the audio service is not running.  When I try "run services.msc' and try to start Windows Audio through Services I get error 0x800706cc.  I tried to uninstall AVG and reboot, but it did make a difference.  Please help, this leads me to the madness now.  Nothing I try seems to work!

  Installation of AVG is when the problems started, I would start by undoing that.  Since the normal uninstall did not help, use system restore to return to a work situation.  Check here and use the #1 option.

  Seriously from Adobe? I can not select a part of an audio clip, and then paste the part on another party on the same audio track without crashing? Let me guess, you want me to just noise collapse all to make it sound like an echo? Why don't pay you 2 hours lost for the registration of a file before it crashes and then having to redo everything because registration has not really saved. Or better yet, why don't you just a fall once I applied an effect and then cook the effect so that I have to restart my whole process to go into the audio track? HMM?

  Running Windows 8.1 with a 16 GB memory DDR3 on an I7 Quad Core with an SSD. All files are on the SSD.

  Been able to reproduce this on a version of internal debug on Mac, I so I was able to provide the best newspapers and for the dev team repro steps.  I've updated the bug report and later him long.  Thanks for all the help.
