  I bought a new Satellite A100 (PSAA8) and re-installed Windows XP Pro. I downloaded some drivers including Intel Display Driver and Flash Media Driver, etc. from the web and installed. But I can't find the driver for video controller, so I still have the questionmark beside the video controller in Device Manager. Do you know what kind of driver he is? Where I can download for the video controller & what driver?

  HE = display driver or graphic driver video driver. All of this means the same thing.
  The suggested site, you will find the driver. Please remember to use the correct driver, because there are different units A100.
  I checked this pilot site and it seems that the most recent display at the moment driver is 14.18.2.4436 version

  I need help.

  I recently updated my P100-am6 for Vista Home Premium 64-bit and everything works perfectly and I find software, drivers, and more for all components except the built-in SD memory card slot!
  It will not work and I can't seem to find a driver or a controller I need so he can perform/recognize my SD cards.

  Can someone point me to the correct driver for this component work under Vista 64-bit o/s?

  Is this one?
  If this is not the case, can someone let me know that it is a question that has no solution?

  I know it's weird, it's the last thing I want to do a totally perfect upgrade!

  I didn t do experiments with this stuff, but you can try to use a driver for P200 if some models are Vista 64-bit supported.

  HP has ugly support for driver or BIOS updates for out of production models.  We have no count on the help of the community.

  Please check!

  Usually the Vista driver should work under Win 7.

  The pilot called Flash Media Driver for Texas Instruments, and AFAIK vista version is 2.0.0.6 - IEC

  On the European driver Toshiba page, you will find the Realtek Lan driver and driver Intel Lan.
  If Realtek doesn t work, then you need the Intel Lan driver.

  It of not necessary because the CD/DVD drive uses the common Microsoft driver that already exists on the BONE!

  But I think I could help you.

  You could do this:
  Completely remove the Upperfilters and Lowerfilters from the following registry key values:
  HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\ {4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

  and restart the laptop

  Try to install the driver for Nvidia GeForce Go 7600 after reinstallation of the entire system, but without success. Only safe mode is available after this pilot plant, tried with Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 and with different drivers from Nvidia and Toshiba sites - same result always :(

  And before you start a lengthy discussion: what laptop do you have?

  You may notice no problem if you install Windows recovery disk Toshiba?

  Provided with Windows Vista. I installed Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (clean install, not an update).

  Virtually everything (including the top row of keys Fn, for example to change the brightness of the screen) works fine with only Windows installed. Do not work only the Fn arrow up/down keys to change the volume of the speaker.
  What driver Toshiba should I install this? It available for Windows 7 32 - bit are:
  -Card Reader Controller
  -Chipset utility
  -Free Config
  -DVD Player update checking tool
  -Display driver
  -Modem Driver
  -Registry Patch (2 different ones)

  In general the FN feature is controlled by utility flash card and this utility is part of the additional package of Toshiba.

  One last thing: offered Win7 drivers for upgrade are so when you upgrade Vista to Win7.
  If you clean Win7 OS installed on your machine, I can imagine that some features will not be there so try to install Vista stuff like hotkey utility.

  You have to play with this and hope that everything will work properly.

  Akuma has already said for the SM Bus controller, you need the chipset driver. In addition, you must also install any other drivers, e display driver. g., driver sound driver LAN, etc. They are required to work properly for laptop.
