  I bought the laptop Satellite A100 Sk9 for school and we are required to put win xp pro top. I formatted my machine and went to do a fresh install of xp pro and have found that there is no work LAN drivers for this laptop.

  The LAN drivers I downloaded seem not to be good, because windows cannot install them.

  But for the CD/DVD drive you n t need a driver, it s a part of the operating system, as well as for the keyboard you n t need a driver.

  Win MCE drivers are not available for Satellite A100, only Win XP.
  Jasmin said, you can try to use the Windows XP drivers as the Win MCE is a WinXP with additional features.

  Theoretically, bad Os. or hardware problem may cause reboots in the round. Overheating can also make the Cpu and other parts on the overheating of the system mobo and it restarts.

  I won't work with vista all the time but Toshiba makes me use all the time because they do not support drivers for Windows XP Home edition. And I have to work with WXP because vista does not work with some programs that I need and that is not good.

  As you update and upgrade are typical in PC world and these processes have priority and are definitely looking to the future. Downgrade still isn't back. It is also important but has no priority as upgrade.

  I assume that upgrade supported for all mobile phones capable of Vista is not yet complete. I'm pretty sure that new notebook will build for Windows XP Home Edition, but it may take a little time. Just FYI: public service power saver is not available with Vista operating system and on this forum, you will find topics where people really miss this fun and useful utility.
