• I'm unable to save all the files on my pc which runs with Vista Ultimate operating system

  I'm unable to save all the files in any application. The dialog box type of flickers in the background, but nothing happens.

  I restarted my computer several times since and searched the net to find answers, but it seems I'm the only one afflicted.

  I would appreciate if someone can shed some light on this.

  I ran scandisk and check sfc, but that did not help. Instead of trying a system restore, I tried the opposite: installed at every possible update available.
  Result: Problem solved!

  I'm an administrator (but not the creator) of a Web site that I am responsible for the update. I don't have the documentation that I need to do some of my tasks. So I thought that I could find enough simply to save the site from Firefox.
  The last time that I have this (several versions of Firefox there is), there is a command "save under" which would save the main HTML file in your selected folder AND save all the subsidiary referenced files in a single subfolder, so built a local version of the site.
  When I tried this today in v20.0.1, the two options "Save As" only created a single file of the current page with all the original references links on the left.
  Is there another way to 'dumping' of the entire application on my hard drive?

  I initially save as "Web Page, complete"? , but the hrefs all mentioned on the real web site, not to any local versions.

  I also tried the Scrapbook addon. It does not seem to do what I want, but I can't find where it stored all the files. I'll be back with the author of the album.

  I get this error a lot, maybe once out of every dozen will attempt to save. This happens on files that are in fact open... because I opened them in Photoshop! I open the file, make a change, hit CMD-S and get this message.

  The finder info panel says I have the permission to read and write the file.

  This happens with several types of files, not a single file.

  All my work is done locally. Don't mean to load or save on a network or some such.

  Just what might happen on conjecture? Of course, it is easy to get around. I "Save as" and give it a new name, then more later to delete the old file and rename a nine. Yet, it's annoying, especially after waiting 10 minutes for a backup finish on a large file, then having to start over.

  Finder crashes sometimes things, but quickly and briefly as a bridge.

  Spotlight or Quicksilver would be my guess.

  Photoshop cannot easily determine that locked the file.  You can determine which of the (Terminal) command line if you were enough UNIX warned.

  Photoshop locks the file and only blocks to save other applications to access the file briefly to the course.  Open the file do not lock or block other applications to read the file.

  You try to perform a system restore to restore the work correctly the settings, to do that follow the instructions below:
  
  a. Click Start, type system restore in the search box and then in the list click on the system restore program. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type your password or click on continue.
  b. in the System Restore dialog box, click on choose a different restore point and then click Next.
  c. in the list of restore points, click a restore point created before you started having the problem, and then click Next.
  d. click Finish.

  In my 18 years of work with the PS I never got before.  I have all tried, close all applications, except PS, change file name, change the file extension, nothing works.

  I have also studied this topic in the forums.  They relate mainly to Apple computers, and I have not seen a satisfactory solution, an explanation or "workaround".

  You must use the disk cloning software (Windows 'copy' cannot be used to copy the operating system) but if the 'problem' is caused by the failed drive, you have waited too long.

• Save the file imported into oracle directory

  Hello.
  I'm on a project where I need to import a CSV (imported by using app APEX 4.0.1) in a specific oracle (complete and functional) table, and then save the file imported to the server.
  This part of the savings on the disk where I have my doubts.
  I know that I can use utl_file to write the file to an Oracle Directory, but that I have to open the blob (file) twice: one for import to the table and the other to write to the disk - because I want to just save if the file is successfully imported.

• Save the file CSS in DW5 problem

  When mode design in an html page, when I make a change to the CSS using the Panel Styles Css, style sheet shows as not registered (has a * next to it).  When I do a backup of the html file, css file does not save, so to get an accurate preview in the browser, I have to go and save the css file separately.  It is a pain.  How can I register the css file when I save the html file?

  There is also a file > save all the associated files. This will save all the files that you see for this document, if you don't want to save each open file. Under windows, you can go to edit > keyboard shortcuts to change the binding key if you wish.

  FWIW, if you use LiveView for your preview it loads the stylesheet not saved you can see previews as you work. If you use "Preview in browser", it should invite you to save your CSS file or record a temporary version of it according to your user settings. Maybe these could help instead of save and refresh in the browser.
