  The answer is no. You can not 'open' a file in Lightroom as in Photoshop. The image file must be referenced by the catalog before you do anything for her. This does not mean that the image file is duplicated, however. The catalog contains only the path to the file, not the file itself.

• Error message of Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library without program listed as the source of the error.

  I have a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library error message, but no program is listed as the source of the error... the only entry is "program: C:\...» ».   I am running XP Service Pack 3 on a HP Mini.  HP support center suggests that a driver is not loaded, or is corrupt and suggests also that I have to reinstall the program.  It is impossible, however, if the program in question cannot be determined.  Any advice?

  There may be some clues in the event where log Viewer, but has first:

  Microsoft offers several different versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ distributables.

  For their need for some of your applications or make install does not mean that you will make any C++ programming, but some applications need some of the runtime components and libraries installed with just distribution C++ files (it is not the whole development package).

  It is also possible to have multiple versions of the distributables C++ installed on your system - I installed 7, but you do not have to many.  Different programs that you install may require different sets of files to work.

  Take a look in Add/Remove programs and see what, if any, versions of Microsoft C++ Redistributables you have installed right now.

  The latest version is the version of Microsoft Visual C++ 2010, so if you don't have that, I would start by download and install from here:

  Sigh. Back with another ridiculous question with Adobe CC do my job nearly impossible.

  Running Adobe first Pro CC 2015 9.2.0 (41) build on a brand new macbook pro 2015 provided by my work.

  When I start a new project, I will import my clips and if I add them to the timeline immediately they will import with their audio very well and everything will work. After about 10 minutes of work on the project, however, no matter what video file with an audio track that I drag in my calendar won't matter is no longer with an audio track, DESPITE the fact that the file was related, audio compatible and if I open the clip in the source cutting machine there will be sound. If I try to cut and import the clip of it the clip still will not have audio when importing to the timeline. It's infuriating! I recorded a gif of the question:

  

  Any ideas at all? My only option is to save the project, open a new one, clips import it immediately with audio, copy it to my Clipboard, reopen the real project and stick!

  I currently testing the new version first and proxy for the workflow capabilities to my installation of posts.

  We hope to introduce custom proxy ingest parameters for the two descendants 4 + content and add a LUT to images.  Ingest functionality seems to work perfectly.  My question: is it possible to export the proxies with these LUTs baked in crude, cups etc., or is there no option NOT to be reprinted for the source of the layer to export footage.  We try to avoid using Lumetri for each item in the timeline (as we did).  However, if the images always rebuild the source, which is usually an advantage, we'll have the same transparent images that we would normally have no effect.

  When you create your Proxy ingest preset, start with a screening of coding to define your desired smaller image size and go to the effects tab and add your LUT desired, etc. Then, create a preset Ingest and set the Format and preset to your custom preset encoding.

  The proxies will always automatically create a link to the full resolution clip. When you use the button toggle Proxies (in Source and program monitors), it makes alternate the display of full resolution and Proxy. If Proxy clips were cooked in the effects, then it displays when you view Proxies, but not when you view full resolution (as Full-Res clips have no bakery in effects)

  If you wanted to export a rough cut of your Timeline using sequences of Proxy then you can select all the clips attached and make offline. This will make the Res full offline, but keep Proxy online. When you export, then will use clips of Proxy with your effects to the oven to (if full resolution are in line, then it will export automatically full resolution).

  My iphone crashed (long story), the screen has been cleared and does not touch them.

  However, the phone works only when I turn it on to unlock I can see colors gradually overall slide unlock graphics.

  There is however no functionality. I can't activate the voice on mode to unlock my phone, and every data recovery tool, I've used so far was not able to bypass the password. I don't know what to do. I have the first year of my life of girls on my phone with no back up.

  You save automatically your device up to iCloud? You have to hold the Apple device to see if the screen could simply be replaced?

  Without bringing these photos on your Mac or PC or cloud like SugarSync or Dropbox service, so if you do not have a backup, you can restore your camera roll, it is unlikely that you will be able to recover.

  I moved pictures of several different files in a new folder.  How to save the in the new order, that I want what they?  They keep returning to their numerical order.

  The contents of the file can only be sorted by name, date of creation, file type or file size.  To put them in order, you need that you probably need to rename them.  Try adding 01 at the beginning of the name of the first file, 02 for the second, etc.   (If you have more than 100 then use 001, 002)

• IMPORT: imported pictures number does not match the source folder

  So I moved recently all my photos on a new portable hard drive.  On this, there is 3706 files (RAW, JPG and TIFF).  I have imported just them and import shows 3204, basically a difference of 500 photos.  Have you tried checking and unchecking suspected duplicates and a number of other things.  Everyone knows about this problem?  Suggestions?  Thank you!

  Could that be JPG files are not to be seen and or no distinct way to RAW image files. There is an option in LR preferences to treat JPGs as separate files. Check this option and see if you get now all images in the import dialog.

Then, people can get the images they like and my workflow is very lightwight (droping a few images in a collection, that I have synced and people can check for images as they wish).

  But it seems that there is no "easy" way of "save image under" for download on the local hard drive. Get the image url from the source code of the page, but it is not possible for novice users.

  Using your web browser, connect to your Lightroom Web account. Go to the Collection and to review the part - you will see that Download is an option.

  When a JPG file, double click on it to view in the Source monitor, it is distorted (it is colour and blocks, but not a recognizable image). Once the JPG is added to the timeline, the picture will be clear in the Source monitor and be correct. Is there something I need to change in order for the original prediction of work without adding to the timeline to display?

  V10.10.5 using OS X Yosemite with pictures v1.0.1. I would like to upload RAW files without having to import through Photos, because I want to change them. Unfortunately, I was not very successful. While exporting pictures (RAW) images in a folder, the images have been converted to jpg. :-(

  Download from where to where?

  Usually you download using Safari or another web browser and click load and select the RAW file wherever you downloaded it to disk

  If you talk about form of import a mount of the camera the card in a card reader and use the finder to copy the files to the location you want RAW format - or use Image Capture to import them to any desired location

  And importing RAW woes not convert them to JPEG using the finder, transfer of images or Photos - each of these copy the RAW file as that disc for your use, you choose
