  I'm working on a Mac. With version 3.6 of firefox when I type "quit firefox" a window asking if I wanted to save my tabs. By clicking on "save session" saved my tabs open for the next session. With version 4.0.1 of firefox, no window opens, and the session ends. The next session starts with only my open home page. How can I save my tabs open in this version?

  I have an app with the LDAP authentication scheme custom - I wrote custom authentication and it works very well.
  After authentication, on a button click I have need to do a few other requests to my Active Directory (dbms_ldap.search_s). AD do not accept anonymous requests, so I need new initialization of ldap_session and then do simple_bind_s - but apex does not save the password to the user after authorization!
  
  My question is: can I save the ldap_session value returned by dbms_ldap.init in my authentication and use it later?
  I tried to put the function of authentication in the package, and then save ldap_session value in a public variable to the package, but I found that this package initialized twice: authentication, and once again, when I try to use this value. And I get nothing in the second.

  Why not try these other options variable public instead of package:
  1. use an application using: SAMPLE_APP_ITEM or & SAMPLE_APP_ITEM.
  2 use a custom table to store the value from the id of the session of the Summit and recover when you want to reuse

• Save the Connect-VIServer session between scripts?

  In order to make the GUI for people who are not used to the command line, we want to look at aid where VBScript code call scripts powershell to work behind the scenes of the HTA.  The only problem is the delay of connecting to VIServer for what the user does.  Say they click on a button for a list of the virtual machine, it could trigger a ps script which collects and posts this info using the Clipboard.  After that, however, that the script is closed and therefore the session.  The button depending on whether they click should also have a sign at the beginning of the script, accompanied by another 10 seconds to wait on the connection.  Is there a way to store/save the session so that we can connect onload of the code of the road and all the following scripts could continue with this session?

  Keep the open sessions is not a good idea imho, and the maximum number of sessions is limited.

  Have you tried all the known solutions to accelerate the PowerCLI process?

  • Disable the automatic detection of proxy in powershell.config
  • Run the command ngen once to make the first cmdlet faster. See How to speed up execution of the first PowerCLI cmdlet.

  Another possible way is to use a central script that runs continuously in the background and you submit orders from your application to this central script through a sort of semaphores (this could be simple files in a specific folder for example).

  Update: there used to Save Session and Load-Session cmdlets in previous versions of PowerCLI, but these were dropped.

• Save the file without the application of effects?

  Forgive me if it's dense - my first experience with audio with soundbooth CS5 was so am new and now relearning with hearing.

  If I have audio charge up and I handle the effects to try to get perfect results, it seems that I can't save what I'm doing and come back later? If I close or save the file without applying the effects on the grid, they all disappear.

  It's just mind-boggling because all other programs Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, first, etc allow you to configure effects, save, open, and reconfigure.

  Knowing that I can assume I am doing something wrong because this simply makes the hearing as a musket - do or die right now, otherwise start again - and I know what that is impossible.

  Well Yes, that's all.

  Change display is for destructive processes that modify the file for good, whether they are physically cut the file or the application of permanent changes.

  View Multtrack's mixes real-time and process that can be used to do what you have the final product without changing the file.  As long as you save the Session that you use, all your changes are retained for the next time that you open it, but the track itself is unchanged... and when you're done, you mix your session (even if only a trace) to a new file that contains all of your effects.

  In defence of Adobe, this way of working is logically to anyone who comes to the hearing of the sound aspect.  Change the workflow to match Photoshop or whatever it would probably result in loud home audio guys (who, until this version, were 99.9% of the user base).  Even when I was doing audio post production for television (a Soundstation DAR and then with the formidable Protools) it was the kind of workflow I was used.

  When I try to close firefox with several tabs open, it warns me that I'm about to close multiple tabs instead of asking to save and exit. I run firefox in safe mode to check if the extensions were prejudicial to it. They are not.

  I also renamed both files as advised by the firefox support because they are damaged, it did not work.

  Firefox stores now always the old session, and you can access it by going to the history menu and selecting "restore previous Session."

  If you want Firefox to display the message to save the session, it can be turned on again by changing some preferences.

  If I'm around all blackberry applications, when I get a phone call, I'm able to display a popup once the call is answered for example. But if I get an email, I'm not able to display any popup screen, even if I see the messagesAdded() get me fired and also the popupscreen is invoked as I reinforced with debugging.

  First off let me say that I have NOT actually tried a screen on an email listener, so this might not work, but I might be able to help.

  First of all, to look for a couple of things

  UiApplication.getUiApplication ()...

  Do not forget that this gets a reference to the UiApplication who is running, not your application.  So if you run in the earpiece of the phone you are running in the phone, in the listener of e-mail application, you run in the messaging application.

  onObscured is called when the screen is covered by another screen.  If she does not, she will not be called.  Assume its display, the screen masking came from the same application which displays on the screen, then the requestForeground() will not do anything, because the Application is always in the foreground.  If the screen masking done from another application, then it is possible that this would actually hide the new screen.  I think that's why do you afterwards.

  Now, I would say, rather than push these screens using the actual RIM applications, skip this treatment to your own application, and then you have the control over the treatment of foreground/background.  Probably the best way to proceed is to use a Global event, extract the data you want the listener, talk to your application, and then deal with this in your own application.

  Thanks for posting your query in the Forums RT in Microsoft Windows. If I understand you correctly, you have a problem with saving an image with the mail application. I understand that it must be frustrating, but don't worry, we are here to help solve your problem and guide you in the right direction.

  In the Mail application, you wouldn't be able to do differently than the option to right click functions. The dialog box you get with the "save image under" comes to a browser. If you use Internet Explorer to check email, you'll get the option to click with the right button on a photo. In the Mail app if you want to download an image that was attached to the email, you can click on the picture to download and click it a second time to get the options to open or save.
