sbconsole: throw javax.servlet.ServletException: < host >: < port > is not a valid address

Hi all

I did a new install of Weblogic 12.2.1 with BPM Suite 12.2.1, Portal Webcenter 12.2.1 and OSB 12.2.1 products. I configured a domain with an admin server and managed server three for each product, i.e. a BPM, one for the BSO and that for Webcenter with jdk made reference to all current jdk1.8.0_65 to run in the same machine.

Everything works fine except that every time I try to meet the BSO console (sbconsole) url - http://< admin-server-hostname >: < port > / sbconsole

It throws an error 500 with the newspaper below:

But when I access sbconsole url by using the url ( http://localhost:7101 / sbconsole ) of the machine running the administration server, the sboconsole opens perfectly.

I am not able to understand what could go wrong?

Thank you!

Kind regards

Nishant.

Hi Nishant,

Looks like your instance of weblogic admin area got the address look settled at "localhost". Remove the "localhost" address of the listening and then restart your instance of admin.

Login to the Admin console-> servers-> Admin-> General-> address listening server.

Hope you may now be able to connect on sbconsole using localhost and the IP address. It will be useful.

With the access mode "Range Paging" the VO not go get and keep in mind all the lines until the currently selected line, but he keeps in memory a few line ranges (for example only a few dozen lines). This way you will not be affected by an OutOfMemory error even if the user scroll down to a millionth line.

  • Integration of apex with EBS R12 - javax.servlet.ServletException

    Morning,
We are in the process of upgrading to 11i to R12 and we found that our launch Apex in 11i method no longer works in R12. We try to follow the following instructions: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/apex/apex-ebs-wp-cabot-consulting-169064.pdf and have created a .jsp file and compiled according to the document. The missing class is not available from any code-source or loader in the system.
I have XXX'ed on our field. Someone else has it, or anyone who has successfully integrated apex with EBS R12 can let me know what they were doing?

    Thank you

    Hello

If the jsp is compiled successfully you can bounce your web server before you can use the jsp. See MOS notes 458338.1 for further details.

In fact, now that Oracle have updated their FND gateway for integration Apex there are only a few situations (for example, if you want to pass parameters to the function of the form at the Apex) where you need to use a custom jsp page to launch the Apex. In most cases you can use the Oracle provided GWY.jsp to start your Page Apex. To use this jsp, you must apply the patch 12316083 EBS R12 (and the patch 12726556 if you launch in browser forms). How to use the GWY.jsp is described in 'Extending Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 using Oracle Application Express' white paper.

  • I'm about to change web hosting service, but not the email addresses - how to back up my archived emails?

I am changing web hosting services but will keep the areas and associated e-mail addresses. I don't want to lose the mails I saved in folders. They will remain available after I have change the host site or I have to save elsewhere? If I need to save, what will do?

    It is IMAP

With IMAP, all mail is handled on the server. So, to keep all your mail, you'll need to save all messages in your account "local folders".

First of all to replicate the folder structure on the server in your 'local folders '. You will need create these folders manually.

Select all messages in a folder on the server (press Ctrl-a). Right-click the selected messages - copy - choose the corresponding destination folder

I would like to start with a single message to test the procedure. If you have a big no. messages, in pieces, do not copy thousands of messages at once. After each copy action, verify that messages have in fact been copied on.

Repeat the procedure for every folder on the server.

Once your new account (IMAP) works, you can download the messages to the new server.

    Hi all

    Can a name cookie webgate OAMAuthnCookie_ < host >: < port > _ < suffix > be configured?

    I came across the following document registration and management OAM 11 g Agents - 11 g Release 2 (11.1.2)

I put UniqueCookieNames = disabled in settings defined by the user in the registration of 11g webgate.

Copied files generated and restarted OSH.

But it doesn't seem to work! always had cookie name OAMAuthnCookie_ < host >: < port > _ < suffix >.

    Any help will be appreciated!

    Kind regards

    Swaroop

This setting works for me in an ECC and the DCC. After you have configured this setting I see host: port withdrew the name of OAMAuthnCookie.

I hope that there are no fault of strike in the setting in your case.

WebGate version at my end is 11.1.2.0.0 according to the OPatch

Whats webgate version in your case?

  • ACME Setup Guide: JDBC: / / [host]: [port] / [database]

After the advice of the cf_menace great (and if necessary!) in my previous post, I will be at PG. 80 to the ACME Setup Guide for the CF, and everything goes perfectly. But I came to a line, I do not understand. In the technical note, I am asked ' do ' before continuing to get CF and MySQL to start to communicate; He asked me to plug in the JDBC URL in the source of data/CF Admin as "JDBC: / / [host]: [port] / [database].

I followed the installation of ACME to 100%, including the new installation on a new OS XP Pro 2.0 of Apache and MySQL, the correct versions. But I didn't ask anything anywhere to define this path in the configuration above pages. It says choose driver as 'other' and I guess THAT name of Data Source is supposed to be jdbc:mysql://localhost:8300 / shawn since that's my localhost CF port (I think that's what JRun4 stressed and gives me a valid, if blank page (localhost:8300) gives me "index of" legitimate page) and shawn is my logon administrator level and only for my XP machine. I made sure I chose the right .jar for MySQL. I put in the right directory and restarted the server.

It gives me the error "trying to create a data source with a name that is not valid. "The names of data source must match the variable naming conventions CF..

Any suggestions I should be typing for JDBC: / / [host]: [port] / [database] since my MySQL install has been completely according to the instructions of the ACME, no database is still and otherwise I totally followed the ACME procedure 100% to a 't', so to speak, and it works perfectly until now. No versions of what anyone on a totally new XP installation.

I'm sorry to ask what is yet another very embarrassing issue, but up to now I double-clicked just bundles for PHP/MySQL/Apache/phpMyAdmin...and they just up and work... And I'm going into town with Flash 8 and work / workable scripts in PHP from there.

I won't go forward until it is OK, because it's the closest I'm going to make this work.

    The TechNote is: http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/knowledgebase/index.cfm?id=6ef0253

What I am doing wrong? If it helps, so much the better: http://counterchaos.selfip.net/index.cfm . I'll give the CF Admin password if someone sends me ([email protected]). I will walk your dog for a week if you help me with this, I promise you :)

    Shawn optimistically
PS I sent the person who wrote ACME, but his speech has bounced back:)

Thank you. I think that your code did the trick. Half there me. I had to create a database, I've done in the command line MySQL: create counterchaos in the database

Then I named the MySQL5.0 data source and added the apparently appropriate info, for root@localhost I guess it is, with the name (root) and the password command-line MySQL request when I open it.

I did not add a port, as when I tried to add the port 8300, she didn't find it.

When I 'check all connections' now, it shows the Microsoft Access with Unicode dbs standard delivered with CF, and at the end she MySQL5.0, no name of driver and the State of OK.

programmers of PS are like doctors: we sit and * how much they are paid, but no one would ever try to perform surgery to heart open and when they go to the Dr for this, they certainly aren't complaining then! You are amazing :)

    Hope that's all right - guess I'll know that I'm on :)

  • Looking for classes javax.servlet

Hi, I updated my eclipse jdk 1.6 and weblogic 10.3 directory. However, I have a lot of compile errors looking for the classes in the package javax.servlet. They used to be in the weblogic.jar from version 9.2 but now they are not in the weblogic.jar 10.3 version and I do not see another jar file containing them.
